I have watched many good guitar builds spoiled by lack of attention to the smaller details like smooth curves, no gaps on covers and so on. As an engineer who works to minute tolerances, I was mesmerised by your build and how it was so precise in every way. What impressed me more than anything was how much care was taken with things that no one will ever see in normal use like the chambering under the plck guard and the shielding was a work of art. All the routing and drilling was so crisp and all your marking and cutting was incredibly precise. Also nice that there was minimal power tool / bench tool use just relying on traditional tools and skills. The understated finish was delicious and the choice of wood along with the dark pick guard was inspired. Fantastic guitar, stellar luthier.

It is a gorgeous, "real masterly" crafted instrument, I envy and feel happy for the owner. oh and, even at first, liked the lighter colour scheme scratch plate combination, then disliked the whole scratch-plate use, because of the gorgeous wood, and then liked the darker one so much, oh funny. Cheers, and take care.
Thank you for your kind reply. In fact, the reason why I wore latex gloves was to protect my hands because I often get hurt while making guitars. However, there were quite a few people who watched the video commenting that it was like I was performing a surgical operation. Anyway, if you enjoyed watching my video, I'm happy too.
@@sixircleguitar7664 Hi, you are very welcome, and yes I enjoyed watching every single detail, I thought the gloves detail your working space, the construction and video production was so clean. I’ve seen quite a few guitar builds on RUclips. But your attention to detail is phenomenal. For example this is the first video where I’ve seen feeler gauges used. Great job! You’ve got a new subscriber!
Attention to detail here was a pleasure to watch. Really great to see a neck being built from scratch too, as opposed to a bespoke body with a stock neck. Great work 😊
Absolutely incredible guitar build! If I had only 1 thing to suggest it would be to use tiny magnets in the body to hold the backplates on so no screws will show! And you can easily access the electronics without the need for tools. Also line the routed lip where the plate will sit with some soft felt material.
So many strange operations done with hand tools that are inefficient, only to be followed up with power tools or a second tool that was unnecessary. For example: why drill with Forster bit only to be followed by plunge router? Also, why cope around body with saw only to follow with router? Why cut neck 3:17 with saw, and then chisel to depth, when you could have routed to depth, or used table saw?
1. If you drill the cavity only with a trimmer, too much sawdust will come out. So, to minimize sawdust discharge, holes were drilled in advance with a forster bit. 2. The reason for cutting it with a saw along the body is because rosewood is a weak tree and may break if you use a router. 3. I didn't have a table saw when I made that guitar. When I built that guitar, I only had hand tools.
That’s talent I built three guitars, but I buy the bodies and the necks and then paint them and put them together. I don’t build the bodies. I don’t know if I even could I don’t have the tools.

I don't quite get why wood as precious as this rosewood would be used for a hardbody electric - it should have built a great acoustic.
Because rosewood is heavy, it is rarely used as the body of electric guitars.
