    I have watched many good guitar builds spoiled by lack of attention to the smaller details like smooth curves, no gaps on covers and so on. As an engineer who works to minute tolerances, I was mesmerised by your build and how it was so precise in every way. What impressed me more than anything was how much care was taken with things that no one will ever see in normal use like the chambering under the plck guard and the shielding was a work of art. All the routing and drilling was so crisp and all your marking and cutting was incredibly precise. Also nice that there was minimal power tool / bench tool use just relying on traditional tools and skills. The understated finish was delicious and the choice of wood along with the dark pick guard was inspired.
    Fantastic guitar, stellar luthier.

      Thank you for your thoughtful comments.
      Guitar is a work of art before being a musical instrument. So I make a guitar like a work of art.
      I'm guessing you're the same kind of person as I am, seeing as you can see my hidden intentions just by watching the video.

      @@sixircleguitar7664 Yes. I just love to see form and function combined to produce something greater than the sum of it's parts. You have a rare talent for doing this. Long may you continue.

      As an engineer, may be you should revise the difference between precision and accuracy. Precision requires more than one item being compared. You should know this.

    • @neilparnell5712
      @neilparnell5712 Год назад +6

      @@BenState As an engineer I produce one off parts that are compared to nothing but the original design drawing yet they accurately follow it and are precision made so I fail to see precision requiring more than one component / instrument to validate.
      Regarding my comments, there was no negativity, I was just giving the highest praise to a fantastic build and incredible finished instrument - the engineering analogy just crept in.
      I assume you also liked the build and guitar, you don't mention this in your comment.

    just a tip or note, the glue on the backside of that copper shielding you used to hold down the ground wire on the bridge pickup might prevent the very best connection? soldering it down or leaving it bare is prolly the best connection, and its ever so important to prevent noise, sorry if it seems like i am picking on you that's not my intention, i just want to see you build the very best guitars... hate to see a small detail like tape glue prevent someone from choosing this guitar to pick up to play every single time . . . :-)

      하지만 일반적인 엘더 바디에 로즈우드를 6mm 정도 두께로 탑을 올리면 380~400만 정도에 가능합니다.

    I am the type that takes music and writing from the soul and not from show. Not for attention and not shred. You seem to build from the same reason in your soul. Passion. That makes your build worth more than any custom shop SUHR ot Fender Or Gibson. I mean this 100 percent. I hope to one day get a jewel like this. I would trade all my guitars for one. Some may say thats crazy. But you cannot buy passion. You eithef have it or you do not. Amazing work subbed.

    I have never owned or played a telecaster, but I truly love this guitar, I have watched hundreds of guitar making videos, but your "clean care" surgical attention to detail and presentation is impeccable, outstanding, congratulations in your work, skills and finished work of art. It is a gorgeous, "real masterly" crafted instrument, I envy and feel happy for the owner. oh and, even at first, liked the lighter colour scheme scratch plate combination, then disliked the whole scratch-plate use, because of the gorgeous wood, and then liked the darker one so much, oh funny. Cheers, and take care.

      Thank you for your kind reply.
      In fact, the reason why I wore latex gloves was to protect my hands because I often get hurt while making guitars.
      However, there were quite a few people who watched the video commenting that it was like I was performing a surgical operation.
      Anyway, if you enjoyed watching my video, I'm happy too.

      @@sixircleguitar7664 Hi, you are very welcome, and yes I enjoyed watching every single detail, I thought the gloves detail your working space, the construction and video production was so clean. Surgical in my comment not only because of the gloves, mainly for the details and care, but mostly because the making and assembly of the final instrument, it's fitting seems so millimetrical and precise, well built, all tidy. Take care, and keep it up. Hopefully one day I can order one like that, Cheers.

    Absolutely incredible guitar build! If I had only 1 thing to suggest it would be to use tiny magnets in the body to hold the backplates on so no screws will show! And you can easily access the electronics without the need for tools. Also line the routed lip where the plate will sit with some soft felt material.

    So many strange operations done with hand tools that are inefficient, only to be followed up with power tools or a second tool that was unnecessary. For example: why drill with Forster bit only to be followed by plunge router? Also, why cope around body with saw only to follow with router? Why cut neck 3:17 with saw, and then chisel to depth, when you could have routed to depth, or used table saw?

    • @sixircleguitar7664
      @sixircleguitar7664  Год назад

      1. If you drill the cavity only with a trimmer, too much sawdust will come out. So, to minimize sawdust discharge, holes were drilled in advance with a forster bit.
      2. The reason for cutting it with a saw along the body is because rosewood is a weak tree and may break if you use a router.
      3. I didn't have a table saw when I made that guitar.
      When I built that guitar, I only had hand tools.

    기타 품질이 상향 평준화 된 요즘엔 3가지를 갖추어야 명품으로 살아남을 수 있을 거라고 봅니다.
    1, 그 브랜드만의 디자인.
    2, 그 브랜드만의 사운드.
    3. 그 브랜드 만의 기술.
    물론 비지니스는 당연하구요.
    요즘 펜더 깁슨 커샾 1500을 넘기는 상황에 좋은 국산 명품 기타가 나올 때가 되지 않았나 하는 생각을 하던 차에 이 영상을 보게되어 반가운 마음에 주절거렸습니다. 꼭 한 번 만날 기회가 있길 바라겠습니다. 건투를 빕니다.

      저 뿐만 아니라 커스텀 기타 만드는 개인/ 단체 모두에게 해당되는 사항일 것 같습니다.
      제 생각에 세 가지 중 딱 하나만 꼽으라면 1번 그 브랜드만의 디자인이 아닐까 합니다. 일렉기타가 이미 모양과 하드웨어가 어느 정도 정해졌기 때문에 독특한 디자인 만들기가 정말 어렵습니다. 그래서 고민중입니다.^^

    My only issue with this guitar is the hollow "Funk" in the body. 100% that should have been filled and no idea why he'd think hollow is the way?
    But next time someone wants to complain about the cost of a high end guitar, I'd recommend they watch this video. Superb work from a real Artisan. Nothing wrong with the cheaper CNC stuff from the Orient but there is something about owning something made with so much love and compassion for their work. As someone who owns mass produced and hand made instruments, there is a state of mind when you're playing the guitar that was made with so much care and attn to detail.

    • @sixircleguitar7664
      @sixircleguitar7664  Год назад +3

      There are two ways to make a guitar - mass production and handcraft.
      Handcraft is the same as a art work. I always make guitars like art.
      However, this is only meaningful to those who know that handcraft guitar making is a art like you.
      Hollowed Funk letter and Funkyman logo on the head were designed by client. He was very satisfied with the two letters.
      Isn't this the reason custom guitars exist?

    정리 정돈 , 깔끔 하시는게
    넘 조아 보입니다
    선,각, 곡선, 틀
    특히 일정하게 나는 소리
    고수의 솜씨를 보고 들어서
    좋았습니다 집이 분당만 아니면
    배우고 싶네요
