- well, our start with troodon on gateway was rough. we died almost every death possible. but, we also discovered the swamp sanctuary and found another way to the highlands :)

As a person whos 2nd favorite dino is troodon i must agree that living as a Troodon isn't so easy after all
I love troodon, but, yeah, the death is waiting behind every corner
it's definitely fun though. At least if you manage to find food at a juvenile stage. Sometimes there are simple no corpses around and the only thing you can kill is a frog which is not on your diet.

Troodon: "Die, teno, die!"
Troodon (2000 years and 1000 bite later): "Come on... dieeee!"

The life of a Troodon is rough. The grass is in cahoots with those deceptively sneaky cliffs.
the view of troodon is really very limited and a deadly combination with those cliffs we don't know yet

sometimes i wonder if ive mistaken a baby troodon for a compy before
Man, the part when the Omni came at you out of nowhere and the chase during the misty night was scary with the white eyes. Looked really great🤩 That escape was amazing! The end was sad, since you almost made it. Makes me think of a time when azura and I were starving and hunting a Teno player, she ended up breaking her leg and the Teno killed her, but I continued and we were both bad. The Teno at the end gave up and sat so I started killing it but died due to my ongoing starvation and then saw the Teno die on my decease screen. Was really sad that we all die and neither could benefit. Harsh life for sure. We were omnis though😝

my heart jumped when the second omni came out and the music peaked! Troodon life is much harder on gateway, I feel. I played it the first few days of stress test and havn't gone back to it. The stamina changes are hard on it, but finding food is also quite hard. I remember starving to death while biting an ai teno and then I came back to finish the job ... and started starving again. Had to eat pieces of my corpse to keep me going until I finally killed it.
someone told me gateway is made for troodon. specially the south plains and northeast plains. personally I struggled, but, I'm still in a kind of explorer mode. I'm more focused to get from A to B than on food nice to hear you got the teno at the end, even if you had to go canni in between

that's a nice wording it was indeed calculated. I knew I will start to sink, but, I thought I will easily be out before the oxygen gets too low. I miscalculated a little tho, as it was way more close to death than I thought

One tip tho: when you run through bushes and it seems like he may lost you, try to run a different direction. Cause when you lose someone in a chase, you usually run the direction they ran the last time you saw them. That may be how he found you again.
But either way, nice job dodging 👍
thx mate ♥ yeah, I know how to confuse with direction, but, in this chase it wasn't possible. I had only one direction. one was blocked by the river, uphill was blocked by a big rock at the start and later on by no bushes there at all, so, I would have ran into a completely open area. the last direction was blocked by the other omni (the one with the cera). I didn't want to risk to run back in that direction to end up facing both chasing me. so, I had no choice but keep running that way imo

Troodon is my favorite but alas there arent many players left because of how hard it is.
I didn't play much troodon on gateway so far, but, yeah, I don't hear many calls of that little cutie recently :/

finally i had some good gameplays , 2 carno vs 3 tenos all retreated then with 35% HP i killed one adult cera from the 4-5 which are randomly appeared of course ,then i died, 4v1 carno vs troodons without stamina and i won, but i let the game patching itself before i die on the lag . Hopefully they keep the promises , connecting to the game and they will release apexes too
nice to hear you had fun the game will further improve and get many more dinos (incl. apex). but, it will take some more years until it is complete

hab zu wenig troodon gespielt bis jetzt und ehrlich gesagt auch nur wenige getroffen. aber ich glaub dir mal was genau meinst du? die sanctuaries, gewisse gebiete oder generell?
@@da.mombie wenn man South oder northplains spawnt ist das Gebiet wie dafür geschaffen wenn man nen grünen skill hat... man ist quasi unsichtbar und kann sich an alles ranschleichen was da so rumkrabbelt🤗 absolut geil

Is it just me or does the baby troodons walk look off. Seems to float and slide a bit, probably a problem with it being so tiny lol.
it's way too fast in my opinion. my eyes can barely follow it's quick movements to the left and right

thx mate ♥ the bees didn't attack my ptera when I was in the sanctuary. so, yes. but, that was at the first days ptera arrived on gateway. so, they may have changed that? so, can't say for sure

Pure pain the isle is now. You constantly need to look for food as a carnivore as u never know when your gonna get to eat again and when u do find food, u hope its ai, otherwise u at risk of getting killed by a crappy hit box or killed after being stuck on pounce. Would be nice to be able to chill once in a while and rp, but u can't as carnivore
I guess, it's mostly because we don't know the map yet. teno AI offers way more food than every AI combined on spiro. there are also herds of boars around. as soon as we know the map and their spawn areas, it should become more easy to chill with carnis more often. right now tho, yeah, it feels tricky at certain areas. but, I don't know many spawn areas yet. just a few so far. there are way more tho
I don't know why you chose troodon when we all know the true apex is beipi 😀
by now is only one apex in evrima... the one and only... dryo :P

sad to hear :/ I liked spiro a lot, but, I don't miss it at all. gateway is so much better in my opinion

@@dachorme2182 the stam can still change again and once we know the map, it will be as easy to find other as it was on spiro. so, hold on mate, it will become better 🤗

@@APeacefulPara depends. in the isle I don't see it like losing progress. that's what other call progress, is playing the game in my opinion. I have as much fun as juvie as as adult. so, I don't mind to die, 'cause I don't lose anything. I just play with a smaller dino again. but, I still play and have fun losing progress like in that star citizen videos hurts a lot. I was pretty mad. some minutes later tho I didn't care anymore. I am used to alpha games and don't mind such things, 'cause they are part of the development.
