if I am totally honest, I didn't know miragaia before. when I grew up only a third of today's known dinos were discovered (not even utah raptor) and I didn't keep up with all the discoveries in "recent" years

@@da.mombie I was a teenager when it was discovered in 2009 but I didn't know about it until a couple of few years ago, it's such an interesting shape for a stegosaurid to take so I was very fascinated by it! I do think PoT's sound design for it is pretty neat :)

@ it looks very interesting, that's for sure I don't know about the PoT sounds tho. honestly, I even struggle to differ between friendly and aggro calls from some dinos

@@da.mombie they have less distinction than The Isle sounds overall imo. But I like how hearty the aggro call is, it’s unexpected for a stegosaurid, and I like that because it’s an odd-looking unexpected dino

beipi has a "jump dive" which gives you a speed boost when you enter the water again. so, each little jump gives you a short speed advantage to deino

As a veteran PoT player, yes! Officials are boring or frustrating and tedious. Now the community servers have passive growth and many amazing modded creatures. Everything from crustaceans to dragons and gyphons. Also, whatever you’re looking for as far as gameplay goes, there’s a server for it-be it PvP, realism, fight club, races and games like hide and seek, and more. Loved the idea of PoT but didn’t like the actual gameplay until I discovered community servers ♥️ also stuck on PlayStation and a lover of the Isle I’ll never get to play 😂

thank you yeah, PoT offers a very different playstyle. in fact, the isle is a game that tends to be a SIM which focuses on immersion. after all it's just a sandbox without targets in a world which tries to suck you in best possible. PoT on the other hand is a RPG style game. it offers thy typical gameloops like quests, level up, XP points to buy skins and deco for your homebase (cave). it serves those players who like to make progress in games. I totally get that. but personally I always preferred games whithout a story and permadeath. I loved day-z because of that so, after all it also depends on what type of player you are imo

@ I agree about the permadeath in The Isle. I looks like it takes some time to grow a Dino. Then chomp and bye bye all of your work. LOL

PoT ist ein komplett anderes spiel. ich persönlich bevorzuge the isle. ich mag das sandkasten konzept und bin von dem RPG elementen (zb. quests) in PoT eher genervt. aber manche mögen genau das und können mit sandbox nichts anfangen. meiner meinung nach, ist es gut das zwei so unterschiedlich spiele am markt sind. könnten ruhig noch mehr sein nein, die alten waren der höhepunkt meiner zeichenkünste darum hab ich einen profi gesucht und einen super künstler gefunden. seine kontaktdaten stehen in den video beschreibungen. wenn du mal was brauchst, kannst du ihn gerne kontaktieren

@@da.mombie ich bin selber seit knapp 20 Jahren Artistin und bin auch in der „Szene“ unterwegs, aber für den Fall das jemand genau sowas braucht leite ich es weiter (: ja die sind echt super schön, liebs. Hab pot nie gezockt, das mit den quests ist nicht so meins, mag das „Freie spielen“ lieber. ❤️

I don't know. my reaction time is awful. that's one of the reasons I suck in fights. in specially those in which I have to react a lot. like being a teno and reacting to a dilo or omni which is constantly going in and out. my nightmares. but chase is different. in chase I barely react. the other is coming closer from behind while I am running myself turns the attack into a kind of slow motion. if that makes sense. so I have more time to react and doing my turn left or right and on top of that, it's my choice if I go left or right and the attacker has to react. that's why I still feel pretty comfortable in chase. because it's less reaction and more taking my own direction therefore, if I change my mascot, then probably to a slot

I didn't have much fights, but, the passive damage seems good and it's even pretty fast for it's size, so, I guess it's a pretty solid dino

that's a nice place for a nest. but is it always that busy there? about a year ago, when I played PoT more often, it always was a rather quiet place

yeah, I still don't know for sure. but, I had a feeling it protected the nest of them I have no problem with tolerating each other. like the stego and ceras. they wanted to nest, the stego is too big of a prey. why going crazy? but, to protect was already edgy and to kill for them is on a very different level imo

honestly, I don't know. that's a youtube feature and personally I have a credit card and never looked for other options

Both are great in different ways. Too many people compare them instead of seeing them as their own entities with their own styles and gameplay. Both are great imo
