fair enough but, there is a line between criticism and constant lies (the devs don't listen) to pretend your own opinion represents the community. I have no problem with criticism at all. of course feedback during the alpha is important. but, the feedback shall be useful. crying about stats because your main dino got nerfed isn't useful. crying about alpha stuff isn't useful. just look in the comments here. there is a mate who is mad because they didn't fix the fatal error yet. what shall you even answer to such nonsense? people complaining about new features being broken. in an alpha. I mean, srsly, I read so much nonsense about the devs, it isn't even funny anymore. sorry to say, but, also your sentence "If they don't want the community to take part and receive criticism here and there, then they should never have taken the EA route." just shows how wrong people's expectations are from alpha games. most alphas don't support you as much as the isle does. they have a monthly dev blog. they have a 24/7 discord where you can come up with ideas in an own section. in another section you can ask whatever you want and Kissen + Punch answer as much as possible. the devs even do streams where you can watch what they are doing every now and then. I mean for real, what else do people expect? to talk with each of us personally? to become friends? I played plenty of alpha games and there weren't much which offered as many communication as they do. but some people think the devs have to listen to each opinion or that they have a right to be listened to. which is ridiculous. we can come up with ideas, they decide. that simple. if they decide wrong, then the game will go down. it's their responsibility. not ours

thx for the info could be because it's new and so the spawn points there aren't properly functional or they just don't want us to visit this area much (it's also still pretty laggy at places). hard to say

@@da.mombie yeah, I've been at harbour only once and look at the horizon from here dropped my frames from 60 to 15. Not sure if it have to do something with storm and lightnings but it's weird that it laggs so bad only in harbour for me. Never been there since

@@eskelhaito nothing you can do about, we already had on spiro some areas with frame drops. that's a kind of map "bug". same for gateway now. there are some areas where the frames drop for no reason. like the harbor, but also the new connection between swamp and south. that sand road also has some very bad areas with frame drops in between

personally I hate it. if you ask me, then I want to see properly during day and night. I really dislike those 80% black screens. I always did in any game

they removed the dome, flattened some mountains and put a lot of forest all over. the beach is still the same, but the triangle between that beach, the harbor and the cave where the waterfall starts, is pretty much new

oh, just told you in the other comment that they removed the dome. should have read this one first. sry, just ignore the other one you moved? jeez, that's always busy. I moved a couple of times in my life and hated these busy days. packing all up, putting in boxes, unbox and so on. terrible way to spend your time. but after you moved, it's mostly a very nice feeling. so, I hope you are already done and can enjoy your new home

ello I play on the official EU servers. yeah, there are always weirdos around, but, you also find many nice players in between

I didn't find away last time and after 3-4 attempts I spawned there. so, hard to say. I played ptera since then and it looks like the shortest way is from the river which comes from the northeast lake. around the area where the big (wide) waterfall is. from there to east somehow, but, dunno for sure

normally you can easily survive by school fish. but honestly, I don't like this gameplay. it does neither makes sense nor feels immersive to dry dozens of tiny fish during your way to adult. that is lame gameplay. I can't say if the fish spawn is bugged or AI just on low level, but my bigger problem is the lack of ambush possibilities. I stick to what I said about gateway from start on. there are way too many safe drink spots. as much as I like the map, but, it's terrible for deinos right now. therefore I can't wait for more semi-aquatics. they will help a lot to make deino's life more interesting again

AI goes up and down since I started playing in update 3. we get more, we get less, it is bugged, it isn't bugged. it's like a never ending circle. so no worry, it will get better again yeah, the underwater NV is pretty bad. the other NV is quite nice imo. much better than before at least so, let's hope they adjust the underwater NV as well

I was in patrol zone nearby as a teno and meet two gallies. They acted all friendly but then my food glithed and they saw it. Started to kicking me. I had to running around, hoping they will fall from the hills or lost me in the bushes (but it's impossible since the food was stuck to my face and they saw it on radar). I used bushes so they kicked each other as well as me 😂 I spend all my stamina running and started to think I'm done. But after that I just magically was able to fight again! Don't know if their attacks unbugged me or something else. Well... I hope their bodies were useful for some starving carnivores 😂

@@eg-draw that's why I love the isle. you never know what happens and the emotions you must have been through (frustration about the bug, fear for your life, satisfying ending) are the reason why I enjoy the game. yes, there are also boring and annoying sessions in between. but those you described are those why I can play the game over and over

To be fair legacy also runs better too, the main downside is all the *goddam Chinese* servers

wish you fun with legacy I loved it, but, personally I wouldn't want to go back to it. imo evrima is the better game in every aspect beside the amount of playables. but, people are different and if you enjoy it more, then have fun mate I miss some of my old dinos. I would love to play anky again

I find that every patch some broken about deinos and they thr only onei like playing... now its so hard to find fish or even SEE underwater ..

It's just too unfairly hard to sirvive right now and most pf it is just because of starving or fall damage or some bugs unstead of other players. Kind of demotivating

the old was nice, but the new is nice as well. I am pretty chilled about map changes and even like them, because it's something fresh. something to explore. I also don't think this will be the final version of the east or even the map in general. I very much expect another map before the game is ready. it will take many more years and dondi seems to love to create maps. we had so many already and none lasted more than 3-4 years. therefore I would be surprised if gateway was the last one. just guessing tho

yeah, someone already said in the last video that there are too much woods around. I tend to agree. as you said, it's dense and so you very easily miss people even if they are nearby. I spent about 5 hours there as beipi and deino combined. no MZ for any of them and I didn't see a single player. well, I heard a herra as beipi at at least. the other problem is, the harbor is also right by. so, if you are in this area and want to drink safely, then you better go to the harbor and will avoid this lake as adult dino.

I was there 3 hours as beipi and survived by crabs only. no fish at all. well, one time schooling fish within those 3 hours. for about 20 minutes or so. dunno if the AI spawning is bugged, but, that is way too less for such a big lake. it's also very lonely there

@da.mombie I've been finding much less AI all over the map. I was just wondering if it has been turned down for carnivores and omnivores. I have a very slow growing Carno on Petit Peids server that I cannot get any diet for. Only alive by eating turtle and scavenging.😕

I ain't much nostalgic during alpha stages. so, I ain't miss the old east pond or area. but I tend to agree that it is too dense there

@@da.mombie I generally avoid that area now, since its sparely populated as well, unless you're a herbivore, its difficult to grow there.

thx I agree, the AI spawn feels weird. I may just not figured it out yet, hard to say but, the first impression is like it is buggy or turned down very low.

@@omni9177 yeah, 6 years are pretty realistic, I guess. I'm pretty certain people will play in 2030 as well. some still and some new players. some won't play it anymore, but that's normal. I also stopped a few alphas and never came back to them. the long dark became a great game, yet I just played about 100 hours during the early alpha. which shows, it doesn't even have to be the games fault. just my taste of games changed

sounds reasonable. that said tho, the east lake is pretty narrow, almost like a river. so, very tough to estimated the surface, I guess. at least I struggle with it

in the end almost every dino will be available as AI. I can't wait for their return. we already had AI dinos in evrima and I loved them

@@ezrakristianto8069 that was pretty much the "problem". we had AI carnos with endless stam that hunted down deinos who weren't big enough to grab them. they swam above you until you either ran out of oxygen or were bitten to death when you swam to the surface. personally I loved it. it was hilarious how AI sometimes reacted because of bugs. but, most people didn't like it and so they removed it until it will work more properly
