Hello everyone, it was not a public stress test but in private, in this video, in this build, the pounce of the trodoon removes stamina from the target, that's why at the end the stego doesn't do anything anymore. I don't know if they will keep it like that but it's very strong
Please dont remove the stam drain for the venom It is necessary!!! Troodon is 1 shot and get killed easily so make us viable to have the stamina drain venom
Good to see the ceras let you do your thing instead of charging in murdering everything. Free meal and huge chuff buff for them and all at the cost of not attacking something that won't even fill 5% of their hunger
@@Stormyy6310 this game is meant to be realistic mechanic wise but I wish the game would encourage you to behave naturally based on lore papers it would make for an experience that I would personally love everyone acting like actual animals instead of kosing or mixpacking
For anyone wondering how the poison works: One person needs to Pounce. A few seconds later everyone in the group will let out a call automatically That call is the sign that the next person can Pounce. After a few seconds, the group let's out another call. After that one person pounces again and then after the group call, the maximum poison is reached and everyone can Pounce and bite at once while doing maximum damage
It really is starting to feel like each creature has its own niche to fill and unique predator and prey relations. Way better than the treatment Legacy got and it feels like this is truly the dev's magnum opus.
A Magnum opus that took over two years to get this update, the "magnum opus" will last a couple of months before players get bored again and have to wait another two years or longer for another update. It's the Isle circle of life.

Omni should be way more capable of killing stegos with the new buff, especially with all the free team coordination training playing troodon gives you forcibly without even realizing it.

Tbh they should nerf the amount of time a troodon has pouncing on a target. Sense A! They only need to pounce a few seconds anyways to apply venom. N B! Just helps make it we’re a group of troodons ain’t just destroying everything in a matter of seconds. Sense if this group was better coordinated and was all pouncing when they should’ve! This fight would’ve been over much sooner.
Truth be told the stego wasnt trying much, like even random swinging wouldve been better than what it did but its awsome to see coordination achieved by the mechanics the devs made and people using them properly
@@youtubealt243 The right play here would be to not touch the troodon, but tweak the stego instead. Give it a "counter", like being able to shake it's back "plates" at the right time of a pounce to block a jumper (in a way that does no damage to the pouncer, but drains their stamina), but also give it weaknesses, like massive damage if attacked to the head by any larger carnivore that they really have to be mindful. Right now it's such a one trick pony with no weakness that it could really need some tweaking.
i knew troodon would be good at killing stegos, i mean the way they designed it to be hard to hit but fragile made it perfect for hard hitting, slow moving tanks that are easy to hit and easier to dodge
Mechanic: 1 person pounces wait for all troodons in the area to make a sound signaling your second pounce 1 more person pounces getting another call signal 3rd pounce wait for signal Now everyone have at it because now the venom stacks (resets after 45 seconds)
Love how the animal that takes up to 6 hours to grow got destroyed by a pack of animals that take around 30 mins to grow. No, im not complaining either, i LOVE THIS, i just dont like stegos lmao
I think this is very good, as it forces the STEGO to no longer walk alone in the open field without worrying about predators. Knowing now that they can die, they became more attentive and tried to walk in groups.
All that, and the Stego isn't even on Diet. Maybe it should be, that kill seemed like the intended play style of the troodon to be encouraged, and we need a better adult stego counter.

@@Mermiam Well the Troodon gameplay at least is miles above Stego when it comes to complexity and action and it's pretty much perfect for those who want to play as a team, so in that sense not a waste of player slots at all.
i think i know why. raptors need to stay on the tarked to apply the bleed right.. troodons on the other hand just need to connect the pounce and can hop off (venom still applies) so i dont think e does anything here cause what is he supposed to buck? time the troo connects and applies the venom minus when the player sees it on his screen minus reaction time until the game registers that he held E the troo is probably already off the stego since the venom applied already. correct me if im horribly wrong but i assume thats the reason. i feel like troo need to stay on the target for at least 2-3 sec for the venom to apply, otherwise i feel like that stego is basically defenseless.
This isn't public its back in the hands of just the stress testers, also there isnt much point in bucking as troodon doesnt do extra damage for holding on.
Stego player is pretty bad lol, just spam swings without timing it. You can easily wait till the troodon dismounts and kill him, or turn in circles to make the troodons dismount shorter. I doubt Troodons can kill a good stego
This stego is not very strong. If he hold "e" when you are on him you will fall and be stabbed. After he just have to tail attack and its finish for you.
looks OP because those Troodons wasnt even a lil bit coordinated , they just pounce no matter if it reset the stage or not and it seems like nobody know that all should pounce at 3.stage. AND still they easy killed the Stego. It was nice to watch bc i hate stego^^ but if any troodon groupe skilled or not skilled can kill a stego easy its def OP

It's very difficult to be against these little animals, if a group joins you, I advise you to log out, it's like an army of ants in something very big.
i see this becoming a huge problem. as cool and maybe legit it is, as a play er playing this stego, how are you supposed to defend yourself against 3-6 troodons which cant be seen especially not in one field of view which you basically cant hit because they are like i said, hard to see, to many at once and including the usual latency issues the isle had i even had problems hitting one raptor mid air as a stego once just cause the ping was horrible. so you grow a stego for 7 hours and then u are basically at the mercy of troodons leaving you alone cause lets say even if he hits 3-4 of them and oneshots them. he will most likely still die and the dead troodons are grown back in 30 mins. not sure if this will not lead to massive exploit and frustration for players playing tanky but less nimble dinos. but yea cool non there less
Yeah while I also think it's cool to see from a "nature finds a way" angle lol, but I gotta say it's pretty busted for any Stego player. I've also never even tried a stego yet (and have no "horse in the race") I still feel like any stego who is faced with this will be as good as dead, as running from them won't be an option either in any way. I guess if the stamina drain is toned down, then at least there will be a way to fight back (could maybe make it so the stego is slowed down in walking speed, but stamina isn't affected so it can still hit with the tail) ... then at least it may take out some troodon's and the pack has to decide whether to cut their losses and run if their numbers start falling, or keep attacking.
I see this as a problem, and I also don't see it as a reality. I think they should balance poison and damage according to weight. Or do you think that at the time of dinos a stego would die for these cockroaches? They would attack at most a carno or cerato, Well if it continues like this, in the next updates we will see rex being soloed by trodons, camaras being soloed by trodons... A real joke.
no troodons dont do much bleed. When their venom is stage 3 their pounce is multiplied to do a fk ton of damage. I think its around 120 dmg iirc. So around 50 pounces should kill a full grown stego.

The problem is that their venom affects the target’s stam, so if it keeps bucking he will lose all stam sooner

no troodons dont do much bleed. When their venom is stage 3 their pounce is multiplied to do a fk ton of damage. I think its around 120 dmg iirc. So around 50 pounces should kill a full grown stego.

That stego wasent really fighting back. all the raptor type dinos suck ass in Evirma.. the omni especially needs a buff.
