- troodon's new view is very nice as long as we are juvie, but, barely noticeable as adult somehow. we had a nice session, but, I felt very old in between this session. specially vs the slippery prey ^^

It's not like you're the worst troodon, it's that troodon's usually hunt in large packs and at night.
yeah, troodon is a pack hunter. still, I am old and my reaction time and my aim are terrible meanwhile. so, agile little prey which goes quickly left/right and has a kind of small hitbox is my personal nightmare
How old are you if I may ask? I think you're a pretty good player.

The challenge of a solo troodon is extremely fun to watch. I know it was a struggle, but it was definitely not dull! Thank you.

slideshow? oh, you mean low FPS? well, I also had FPS drops every now and then. not that crazy tho. but, I read that they turned off the AI for this weekend, because it makes a lot of performance troubles. so yeah, there are for sure some more things to fix before they drop it

Did you ever check out the beach while you were at South Plains? It's been completely redone. New rocks, an extended beach area, and a new sanctuary have been added. It looks good, IMO.

With you climbing the rock. Sometimes i use the pounce to get higher. Pounce travels farther than jump.

the baby boar is so cute, I think I'll feel a little bad killing them I love the plants they added in the grassy areas. They're not quite bushes, but something to help break up the otherwise wide open plains. Great for small critters like troodon and babies to cover themselves a little more! Also just makes the grasslands a little less stale. That dryo was obviously having a blast giving you the slip, just chattering away as you try to catch it haha reminds me of someone I know!
yeah, the new babus AI is adorable it's fascinating how those few new plants add so much depth to the landscape. I really like the look of map even more now. tee-hee, yeah, this dryo did a good job

Troodon is my favourite Dino to Just fuck around with. I die so often because I have the precision of a drunk man, but I have a hell of a time. Good for time efficient play. Good to see you play it Mombie 😊

I see that around troodon grass disappears a bit
yeah, but somehow it works very well as long as you are juvie (like you see at the start). but, as adult the disappearing grass is barely noticeable

I'm not great at it either but chasing chickens helps sharpen skills against slippery small dinos.
Troodon does need the pack for big prey. I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to have a dozen ankle biters swarming you.😂. My favorite thing right now.
I really like troodon, but, it doesn't suit my age at all. my aim and my reaction time became so bad meanwhile, it's really tough to keep up with little agile prey. so yeah, would be much better in a pack vs bigger prey like teno or stego. unfortunately big packs are rare

I know my trouble is that I never played console games so I'm struggling with controller issues. Getting better every hour and I think twitchy characters like troodon help skill development better than something slow, for me anyhow.

I'm 46 soon and it feels like every year is a decline like 10 years before. so, how can you not struggle at your age? are you taking some secret medicine I never heard off or what? fliegersalz?
oh, you play the isle with controller? why don't you use the mouse? I mostly struggle with the reaction time to be honest. I had to stop playing CS some years ago, because I was starting to die before I even noticed the opponent. I often didn't even know where the bullet came from and was surprised by the replay, when I saw it came from right ahead
@@da.mombie I guess we all react to aging differently. I've always been blessed with quick reactions. What I do with the reaction... that's a different matter 😂.
I use mouse and gamepad. I couldn't play when using mouse and keyboard. WSAD just doesn't work for me at all.
Gamepad lets me use keys for actions and joystick to control directions.

I still have a steam controller and the F710 from logitech. but, didn't use them for years now. I mostly play with mouse and the razer tartarus v2

I mostly don't know myself. it depends on the dino I will play, then if I have one on a server and if not what servers are free and populated.

Is that like the new camera for troodons?
kind of. people told me the cam got more close for every dino. personally I don't see much of a difference tho. the new thing is the disappearing grass nearby. which is very useful as babu and really helps to see better. but, as soon as you got an adult troodon the difference is barely noticeable imo. so, I guess these are the first steps of the way to a better vision

yeah, it's the horde test, so, I expect more troubles there. at least the rubber banding is gone. on the other hand, I had some bad FPS issues yesterday. so, I hope they will be able to fix some more problems this week

@@APeacefulPara yes, one of my school friends had the NES (first nintendo ever). at that time I had the C64 and so in my ranking the "Giana Sisters" are the better "Super Mario"
anyway, later on I had the SNES (16bit baby!) and played probably hundred games on it but, I didn't play nintendo for more than a decade, probably even two
