- Ok... so firstly I want to say that I did not believe in ghosts. I have explored hundreds of places over the years and until now I have never seen anything with my own eyes. I have caught some strange things in photos but absolutely nothing like this!.. wile exploring this abandoned hospital which has been empty since the 1980’s I heard some strange noises which did scare me but put it down to animals, things falling etc.. but wile filming my Cinematics & pan shot’s things got a whole lot worse!
Wile I was filming my walking scene I heard a noice which was very close & I can only describe as feet shuffling on the floor, It spooked me that much I ran back to my camera. When I picked my camera back up & look up the hallway I clearly saw a figure standing at the other end which in a split second disappeared back to floor level. I have never seen any like this ever in my life and I can honestly say it has changed my views on the paranormal...
I know that nobody els was in that building and what I saw definitely 100% wasn’t human! I can promise you this footage is 100% real and has not be messed around with. I cannot tell you exactly what it was but all I can say is frightened the life out of me!...
A bit of history on the site....
Founded in 1882 as a hospital for children recovering from infectious diseases. An orthopaedic hospital bought the property in 1920.
In 1933 the trustees offered to pay for the erection of a convalescent home.
In the late 1970s the kitchen and domestic offices of the ward were adapted for research use by the Scoliosis Unit of the Institute.
Children were transported from the operating theatre in another part of the hospital to the ward by a towed ambulance but, when the last ambulance broke a rear axle, health authority refused to pay for it to be mended. The ward was forced to close in the 1980s.
The building still stands derelict today full of all its original contents.

Well done. As a retired nurse I can tell you night duty is just as spooky even in a ward full of patients. I have had nurses change shift on a full moon, if they were ment to do a night shift. Buildings retain feelings, smells, noises etc. that we sense and pick up on. Floating human shapes are quite common sights at night in a hospital, so this shows when it's abandon they are still around. Stay safe and please, please no matter where you explore never go alone...always 'clock in' with someone and let them know where you are going and 'clock out' when you get home. This is the safety rule of many a nurse or just a women living on her own. I clock in with one if my Son's, daughter in laws or Grandchildren, who ever you choose it's for your safety yes! But for your family's peace of mind. Great video, thanks.

My aunt was a nurse has told me of some spooky things when she was at work.. this was at the Northern General in Sheffield. I also used to visit the old Towers Hospital sometimes in line with a job i used to do ... didnt see anything but is was pretty creepy would like to spend a night there which hospital was at ?

My best friend works in a care home and has said many a time when there’s a full moon the residents can get uncharacteristically out of hand . I myself have terrible anxiety on a full moon 🌕 I can not relax and sometimes that’s before I have even checked to see if there is a full moon .

I'm a nurse and I recognise so much of this equipment! The leg thing you spotted is a Thomas splint- used to immobilise broken legs and put them in traction. The chair with scales on is just like a set I was still using 15 years ago for patients who couldn't stand up to be weighed. All the bedside cabinets in that room brought back memories of being admitted to hospital in the 1980s to have my tonsils out although I'm pretty sure that design is still being used on wards now! Lots of other things I recognised.
As I'm a trauma nurse I'm going to beg that you let someone know when you are going somewhere alone so they know to look for you if you don't re-appear when expected. There may be legal reasons for not wanting to do so but location sharing your phone with a friend if you are going alone could literally save your life if it means you are found easily and quickly if something was to happen.

You never know..... he could fall. Through the floor and break a leg. He could trip and fall hitting his head knocking him unconscious, some debris could fall on his head .

I use to run G ward and H ward on nights on my own at Boundry Park Hospital, in Oldham in 1971. It was a Psychiatric Hospital, and I heard many strange noises at night/ small hours of morning, also saw some strange things, but it ddnt worry me, strange draughts, cold spots, leaves swirling along the path out side the window on a dead calm night. Its the living you have to be aware of, not the dead, they wont hurt you. they are just lonley spirits.
I got freaked out when I heard you struggling to breathe. There is def a figure there in plain sight so you did the right thing running out before it got more dangerous. Thanks for the explore Colin and your evidence there is something from beyond the grave xx
They are not out to hurt him they must likely lonely and the metal noise was to get your attention I no it's hard not to freak out and run but most the time they are harmless

Don't be scared of these weird experiences, you should try a night in my 1755 circa cottage in Cornwall, not changed at all for over 100 years, always gives me the freaks every time I stay there. The metal noise was a corner bracket that protects the walls from beds etc at 24:21 you can see it on the floor. But for the banging and the figure is scary, great vid 👍

That was an amazing capture! I’m a big believer in the paranormal as I’m a paranormal investigator myself and been to many old buildings capturing the paranormal! That looked like a manifestation of a ghost just trying to scare you! And yes it would scare me too! No human can witness a ghost and not be scared, I’d scream too lol
It’s always devastating to see the damage of what people do to buildings when left derelict” smashing everything up they can! No building is safe from these parasites!! If all the damage hadn’t been done it would look like it had been left yesterday!! Such a shame!!

Since I found your videos, I'm binge watching! As I see this dilapidated place, how could you go in there all alone!? What if you get hurt, and what if you don't have a signal on your phone, what if something bad would really happen to you, well that would not be good! Please be careful and don't ever do anything like this alone again! Brilliant video bud. Dont be afraid of them, I know its hard not to be but all they want is to be noticed. I used to work nights in a care home which had alot of night time activity, coat hangers being thrown, banging doors etc. After doing research it turned out that all the want is attention and are not out to harm you. Speak to them. They used to be human and are more than likely lonely in the afterlife.
I've never heard of a ghost or spirit being charged with murder in a court of law. I'd be more terrified of stumbling upon squatters or vagrants in a place like that

I worked in a nursing home and I never believed in paranormal. Until one nite we were all in the dinning room and I left to answer a call light and I saw a black figure going into a room we all went to check and no one was there. Mind you these residents couldn't walk. Another time I was sitting at the nurses desk doing paper work when a wheel chair rolled past me turned around and went back the way it came. Believe me when I say I jumped over the desk and ran to another hall scared me to death. I could tell you a lot more made believer out of me.

not lonely, but they are not sure where they are sometimes or play jokes and try to get attention. My mom died three times before she actually died. The first time she was trying to get the doctor to NOT revive her but her hand went through him. She said it was like she was there but no one could hear or see her

Captivating & interesting video mate , love watching abandoned exploration especially ones so otherworldly as this type of explore due to thy place and how much time has passed , ( @ 4:51 and onwards ) - it is so sad that that person's paper work of important personal inpatient information did not get passed across to the neccacary new doctor or hospital premises during the time that the place mush have relocated it's staff & equipment to a new hospital which indicates that they lost the patients medical records 😮 😞 But on a positive note I send you so much respect in what you do on you tube as you do it so well - I probably will sub to you at some point in time Soon but I am currently following a lot of other abandoned exploration content at the moment though your just as awesome to lol. Thanks for everything bud. And best regards - I'll be staying tuned in in future.

Spirits are all around us everywhere we go, that is without all the other entities, cryptids, elemental spirits etc. Etc..
No point going to investigate 1. If you don't know anything about the paranormal and supernatural realms, 2. If you're fearful of spirits, because that's the point in investigating. Its only people's fears that causes people to panic.
Talk to the spiritual realm like they are there alive still.

Great vid. You meed to be carefull mate on ur own. Theres alot of suffering been going in that building for years, that attracts alot of bad energys, you already captured what sounded like a metal pole being thrown. Good spirits wouldn't do that. Be safe mate and dont let them get attached to you coz u could be bringing them home.

That chair with the scale on the back, that brings back memories! I used to have to sit in them every time I visited the hospital in the 80s. They used them to check your weight. Not sure why they did it tbh as it was always asthma related check ups.
I sat in one yesterday after I was rushed in with crushing chest pains and trouble breathing, I was told if I didn't come in when I did , I wouldn't be here today, some blood test I had they said it was that high it was on a verge of having a massive heart attack, I'm in bed watching this!!

Great explore ,Colin . I think those roots in the wall must be the hospitals circulatory system . Just after the sound of the breaking glass , there were knocks . Ghost hunters reckon this is a spirit mocking the Holy trinity . Be safe out there .
I work in a old hospital and many times on a night shift I see patients walking around places were patients don’t go. Basically they are spirits. I don’t get scared I say hi and they disappear.
You must also remember that places as old as this one is Riddled with asbestos.
And lead oxide from the old peeling paint dust.

Watch out for asbestos dust that will kill you perhaps wear mask, my friend died years later from breathing dust when it was being removed from the factory roof he was working in, great vid keep well look after yourself.
Once fear takes hold it perpetuates flight instinct shapes shadows and light will trigger all kinds of responses. I got lost in a wood when nignt orienteering I went way past that stage after a few more scares you start to rationalise them and clam down. Then you’ve overcome your fears. I startled deer birds and alsorts. I was lost for 4 -5 hours and by the time I found a road I was perfectly calm. You should of gone back in and stared your demons in the face.

That place has been as creepy as hell for years! It's got a lot more overgrown in the last few years though. Used to be able to walk around the building without the need for loppers! Used to park up there when mealing on nights as there's a Maccies not far away. Always a weird feeling around that place. It must have seen some sights as a Musculoskeletal Hospital. Staff accommodation is less than a hundred yards away towards the "live" site! Not a nice walk home in the dark! Good explore but seriously - don't go back!
