Thanks for your support guys. But sometimes you got to have a break from those too. You don't realise how hard they are to work with. But I'll have them like I love you lot. Thank you for your support. See you next week.🤙🤙🤙🙏
Everyone deserves a break from time to time even if you enjoy something, taking a break means you don't get burnout! We will be here when you get back, enjoy your vacation and Happy Valentines Day! ❤😊
As someone with CFS this would be such a lovely place for someone who is not so well to go & work on their health for a while. It gets tough at times when you are alone & an illness continues for a long-time
Totally blown away by the whole place , That was fantastic , Saved it to watch again , Thanks to you Alex and Ned for taking this place on , words cant express how beautiful and how vast it was . Always in awe of the places you find , Till next one , Stuart in Canada ..
Thank you Alex & Ned, what an 57:36 awesome find. Being ex RAN ( Royal Australian Navy- intelligence), it's saddens me to see such a beautiful building and a very needed complex for vets, being demolished. 😔 Thanks for showing us the complex, another great explore. Miss Ed , perhaps he will be in the next one 👍 take care of yourselves guys. Debbi from Western Australia. 😁X
Great explore Guy's. Here's a bit of history ; After almost 70 years of treating injured servicemen and women, the last staff members left in September 2018, and Headley Court was sold to Angle Property in May 2019 who planned on building a significant amount of housing on the site, and most likely demolishing the majority of the existing buildings. A friend of mine worked there in the 1990's and had told me it's a big set-up and at the time was very busy. The replacement facility is at Stanford Hall near Loughborough.
I would love a pound for every time i must have passed this place on that big congested road close by, and didn't even know this place was there. another great explore lads 👍
Wow amazing place. Im guessing the MOD and Govt pulled funds and thats why its closed. Shame such large buildings are left abandoned when theres so many homeless, both civilian and ex-military
@@VacantHaven It never cam up in my research as a place to do. I can see its exactly the type of place i would love to go and will try soon. I loved the catwalks also.
70th! Loved this explore guys. I bet Ed will be sick that he wasn’t along. He would have geeked out on all the old wood panels in some of the rooms. See you on the next one! Roger in Pierre South Dakota USA
That place was HUGE! You needed more time there to see it all and record it before they destroy it. Thank you, Alex, and Ned, great explore. Maybe if security was not lurking around you could have got more of it.
Frm USA. The industrial blgds were interesting. Cages reminded me of my first apartment as we had those down in storage. The outside of the hospital was beautiful British architecture. Loved the details on the outside of the windows, the windows themselves and the detail on the ‘driveway’. This is the construction so many Americans cherish and would love to see here in our country. Hate that they tear these bldgs. down in the UK. Why don’t we still build like this? So much care in the past to detail, why did it stop? So very sad! Loved the pool area and the outside pillars & pergola! Always so appreciate you showing the ‘guts’ of the bldgs! Huge place and so much wasted potential! Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful explore! You boys always find the best locations!
The last part of this video was truly incredible. That old building had some amazing rooms and walls. It was once a very gorgeous place. Wished we could have seen more of it. The inscription to the old prison has to be one of the most interesting parts of this video. To bad about the security guard, but glad you were not caught. For all of the soldiers who were transferred here, it was probably a good experience (except the pain) to have a warm room, and an exercise physicality. The vandalism is sad to see in the outbuildings. There sure were a lot of out buildings added on to the incredible mansion land. I hope it will be renovated, otherwise it's a terrible loss. Sure missed Eddie. Thanks so much for the amazing tour, Alec and Ned. ❤❤❤
Fantastic explore guy's ! Even though these building are incredibly interesting to have a look around in... it makes me sad to see so much stuff going to waste. 😒 Thanks for showing us these places before they're gone.
Thoroughly enjoyed that explore. Brought back many memories of my young childhood just before we were to be sent abroad to live. Was a beautiful Mansion in its day I bet. I wonder what they will do to the premises now. It’s going to be an expensive renovation project. I reckon possible demolition - our historical places are rapidly disappearing. What a shame. Brilliant Video Alex and Eddie - twins. Well well well. Yes it’s obvious once you know lol 😜😂🤣
Amazing place. We lived in a married quarter at Dale view when stationed there in '66-'67 my Dad RAF and Mum worked there as a cleaner. I remember she used a big floor polisher as big as her in the old building. Happy memories of walks around nearby beauty spots like Box hill.
Thanks for the update it's gone down hill in a year since we filmed our video, that other pool was intact and we had a quick game of snooker in the main house 😅
This was absolutely amazing, such a shame, to see a beautiful building in a state of disrepair. Great camera footage Well done guys, looking forward to you next explore 🏆🏆🏆
Excellent find and one of the best yet. Really enjoyed it and watched it twice. Good to see that Pompei wasn’t with you. Don’t like how he goes through peoples possessions with a blatant disregard of them. You guys work great together. Thank you for the find and video. Nearly best one yet. 👍
Hi guys. The outside of the original home is beautiful. It's a damn shame when governments waste public money on those works and then let it rot or dismantle it. It could have become a whole community for people. Pools, hospitals, housing and country air. Such a waste. good find. 💌
what would be fun is if you had those trackers on you and then looked back at the end as to where you actually walked, yes you'd possibly have to hide any location data but would be fun to see where you roamed during the explore
There is apparently a big tunnel network, but unfortunately we couldn't find it, and the security guy put me on edge a bit! Cheers as always for watching 😀👍
I instantly knew where you pair were headed and I really appreciate getting to see Headley Court after knowing of the place and its purpose for about 25 years (ex MOD civilian - WPA/VA).
6:10 is either for storing Compressed Gas Bottles(!) or it could be some sort of Faraday Cage or _Containment Cage_ of some description! Truly Great explore! I must say, out of the vast majority of other 'High End' Explorers like yourself(!) that you are one of The Most Respectful Urbexers on RUclips. You get some that are that thick, they don't realise they are being disrespectful but even when you've done 'Collab's', you have shone above the rest! Example?! Was it the RNAS Copenacre Site, where we had a real mix! Ones _Voice_ and _Actions_ were obnoxious but you stayed civil throughout. Fair play mate!
Thank you very much for the nice words, very kind! Glad you enjoy my take on the urbex scene, we really do enjoy what we do and try to be as respectful as possible 😀👍
That'll be interesting. 🤔 wonder if there will be any clock tiowers for 'spidermam Alex" to climb 😂😂 I had an uncle in the RAF WWII. Flew spit fires squadron leader...what what. Ole chap. And all that😂😂
Thanks for your support guys. But sometimes you got to have a break from those too. You don't realise how hard they are to work with. But I'll have them like I love you lot. Thank you for your support. See you next week.🤙🤙🤙🙏

My first thought was where’s Eddie 😮

As a former wounded patient it’s heart breaking

It is nice that you folks didn't run into the watchman. Great view. It is a place that could be renovated.
Awesome explore... Loved it...

Be safe and careful.😊👍🙏 Cheers.🍻
Being an Australian Veteran, I hope they are building a new rehab centre for your Vets. Lots of history in that building though.
Apparently they acquired a new site up near Nottingham, which is good to hear!
Thanks for sharing this great find.
You're welcome!
Honestly the effort you make for content is amazing great explore 👌 👍!
Nice one, we really do enjoy making the content!

Yet another great video. Thanks for taking the time to make it happen

Cheers for the kind words, and yeah I didn't really fancy bumping in to the security with his Rottweiler 😬😬
@@VacantHaven I hear that!

It really was a cool place, but I wish I had seen more of it!

I would have liked to show you all more of the mansion, but we were there for a good 2 and a half hours before we noticed the security.

It would be interesting, and to think we still had a whole other side to explore as well 😬
it could be interesting on most of your explores not just this one - of course the bigger the space the more you h ave to roam LOL
So that means pool can also be used as extra space for functions with raisable floor.👍
Thank you Alex for an amazing explore
