- After my first visit here & knowing what i saw I really didn’t think I could ever go back alone!.. But the whole thing has been playing on my mind so much, i just had to go back. I really wanted to see something again so thought the most likely chance of anything happening would be if I go back again on my own... At Night!! After my second experience here now I can honestly say I will NEVER go back alone ever again!
A bit of history on the site....
Founded in 1882 as a hospital for children recovering from infectious diseases. An orthopaedic hospital bought the property in 1920.
In 1933 the trustees offered to pay for the erection of a convalescent home.
In the late 1970s the kitchen and domestic offices of the ward were adapted for research use by the Scoliosis Unit of the Institute.
Children were transported from the operating theatre in another part of the hospital to the ward by a towed ambulance but, when the last ambulance broke a rear axle, health authority refused to pay for it to be mended. The ward was forced to close in the 1980s.
The building still stands derelict today full of all its original contents.

Fear comes from the unknown, from a job interview to your experience in this hospital, all you have to remember is that you can only come across a spiritual being which once walked this earth, the paranormal is 99% boredom and 1% fear/surprise. It not how Hollywood shows you in the movies, I worry more about the living not the dead because in the 35yrs as a medium, its only been the living which has hurt me. awesome Video buddy and you did good buddy.
My cousins a medium we grew up together and he always heard voices from a young age but everyone thought he was crazy and had test etc… until he was older and met someone to guild him he’s now one of the best mediums in the uk… and people swear by him… I hope there’s a after life 🙏

Hi Neil. I would say that a job interview can cause extreme anxiety but not really fear? To see or hear something that has no rational explanation is pretty frightening though. As a medium, do you think spiritual protection is something you should practice, especially when visiting or exploring old, abandoned buildings?
@@MelanieJolie I meditate daily when I can and when we enter the world of paranormal I only ask for protection for safety and good natured spirits to make contact, there is nothing within the spirit world which can harm us, the worst may be negative towards us but nothing like what the movies makes us think is out their, because that is the click bait of the movies. we will only ever come into contact with what once walked on this earth x

Oh my god man, hats off to you, I haven't set foot in an abandoned building since I had a paranormal experience, traumatized me and my friend for months... You have balls dude
Now you can't just say things like that and not elaborate. I know your pain though, I went hunting with a few times with mates for a laugh then went hunting with a medium in my towns main street at night, she was asking YES/NO questions and the EMF responded to it pretty well, the last question she asked was "Are you happy being here?" The EMF shot down from 4 to 1 and we all heard "NO" coming from the speakers strung up in the main street, that play local radio stations in the day. Next thing the speakers start getting static-y like someone is changing the stations on an old dial radio and it keeps picking up broadcasters words/song lyrics where we all hear "Go, go away, get out, leave". I'm kinda pissed that between the 4 of us nobody thought in the moment to grab a phone out and start recording, truth be told we were all scared out of our minds, especially the medium. I walked past that spot a few months later at 4am going to the shops and had phantom footsteps sprint at me twice, like someone running flat out at me in boots, I turn around and nobody there, nowhere to physically hide on the sidewalk, I haven't been back there of a night, that place is cursed.

The extreme change in temperature is usually an indication of paranormal activity. You are brave to be there alone.

When you heard that metallic bell like noise. If you look at the footage @ 11:08 Just through the window above the door in the corridor in front of you. The metal lampshade on the ceiling is swinging violently from side to side.

I'm fairly certain that it's a trick of the light, but at 31:06 as you pan to the right, the corner has a shadow that could almost be mistaken for a person. Absolutely intense exploration vid, and most certainly fitting for Halloween! Well done!
No trick of the light and not pareidolia. That's his own shadow, you can see his camera. 💜 However, the rest ... yeah.

As a spirit medium I've always found buildings like this leave an emotional footprint from the years it was open, Paranormal world call it the Stone Tape Theory, meaning all the energy from the human activity has been absorbed in to the fabric of the building or surroundings. From Joy to Tears, Pain and Death has left its mark embedded there.

I recently saw this video on Nukes Top 5 and saw something strange at the 11:08 mark in your video, in Nukes video it’s at the 17:27 mark. It’s something dark that pulls back in the doorway on the right hand side. The location is absolutely terrifying. I don’t get scared easily and I was on the edge of my seat watching. Great video and channel, I just subscribed and look forward to seeing more great content! 😀
There's something moving on the ceiling at 11:10. Looks like a shadow but it doesn't move in time with the torch which is weird. You're a brave man. Great work thank you

Aw mate that was great! Best video I’ve seen in ages! Absolutely like we were right in there with you. You’ve got some bottle going in there on your own. I saw a ghost once myself. I was caretaker at a castle in Northumberland and I woke up one morning feeling something was ‘wrong’ so I lifted my head up and was going to have a look round the room, and there was an old lady sitting by the fireplace smiling at something (not me). A lovely kind looking old lady. I just put my head under the covers. That was in 2003. She was as real as any living person I ever saw. 👍

No way would I have the nerve to go to an abandoned hospital at night, alone! You're definitely braver than me lol! Your gasp at the 28 minute mark made me jump, and I watched it in broad daylight. Your camera glitched a bit the first time before you ever went inside, so I had a feeling that it was going to be, "busier" in there than the first time. I've just found your channel and I am really enjoying it so far. I appreciate that you are so respectful of the places you go, all the way down to the mice and spiders!

Hi Colin, not sure what it is but at 11.10 you hear something which sounds like a bell.... at the end of the corridor up in the ceiling it looks like a light shade swinging.... Colin you have some bollocks going in there on your own.

Yeah agreed. Perhaps something fell and hit a metal shade causing the sound and movement. Still a spooky coincidence (and the third in that hall!).
Well done for seeing it through! Around the 11 min mark when you hear a chime, you go back on yourself & just as you pass the door leant up against the wall, look at the door opening just after it(same side) you will see something small and dark that seems to move into the room as you're about to pass.

Indeed, I've been trying to work out the original position. It's clearly in the hallway at that stage, slightly left of the door frame. When Colin returns later we should be able to see it but it appears to roll out of the door.
It's there as you say at 13.11, still there at 19.56 when Colin comes out of that room after avoiding the main corridor BUT it's gone at 23.22 when he shows the view down the main corridor towards the blue chair ( got to be quick for that one it's only about a second long)

19:59 right wall window shutter or something on the wall moved after stepping into the hallway and immediately gimbal malfunctioned.

A couple of Halloween's ago I decided to trip on a psychedelic in the graveyard alone at night and confront my fear of the haunted 'White Lady bridge' once and for all. I wandered around for hours and made it onto the middle of the bridge where I smoked a joint on the peak. The extra paranoia kicked in but I managed to regulate my calm enough to override it. My fear is gone and the rush I got off facing it is quite like nothing else. Best Halloween ever.

I always like seeing these types of exploring vids even though I don't believe in all the paranormal stuff, It's still understandably scary - enjoying content mate.
I've stepped/explored in many abandoned buildings and "haunted" locations. Most terrified I ever been was a meth head sitting on his bed like peeking out at me, thinking he's rly sneaky.
I don't know what to say - you are insane hahaha! I found that really hard to watch, that was stressful viewing, but by god did that have me on the edge of my seat. Incredible mate! Rather you than me Colin, I had the hair standing up on the back of my neck as soon as you went in 😨. That ball at 13.11 is still there at 19.56 when you come out of the room by the blue chair after avoiding the main corridor BUT it's gone at 23.22 when you show a quick look back up the main corridor towards the blue chair ( got to be quick to spot it though it's only a second or so).
Not sure what to make of the random shadow at the end, there's low level lights effectively behind the camera as you do your last bit, it could be those casting your own shadow on the fence but it doesn't appear to sync up with the way you're walking ( after that I'd still be bloody running)

The shadow at the end though is explainable - There's a light on the wall close to the ground which he films at 33:43, then walks right in front of as he does his selfie at 33:47, casting a shadow that appears to "move" quick along the fence behind him.
Not sure if it is the same ball, but at 13:39 in the previous vid. Maybe there is a child there that just wants to play????

By the way, those metal frames that are leg shaped are, as far as I recall, leg supports for when someone is confined to bed with a badly broken leg which is held up above the bed.
Yes for traction. There's a pulley system with weights to realign broken bones, usually the femur.
It happened, believe. I looked it back 4/5 times and there was a ball (looked like wooden or metal) rolling out of nowhere across the hall. You are a very brave and nutty man to do that all alone. That was scary shit!

I could not see a thing at the end and wondered what had made you run. It would be good if you could do a recap, highlight the area of activity and describe what's happening. I've seen other urban explorers do this, it's very helpful.

You are a heck of a lot braver than I am when it comes to the paranormal. I live next to an old colonial era cemetery in New England. When we first moved here in 1965 or 66 my Mom and I were watching TV, it was maybe 9:30 at night and there was a knock on our door, my mom thought it was my brother had changed his mind about staying at my uncles house maybe 1/10th of a mile from us ,so she said to come in. A few seconds later another set of kicks and I followed her to the door. She screamed and slammed the door because there was a misty thing gliding across the lawn.we all experienced odd things over the years. Needless to say I've feared that cemetery all these years.
I kind of think it was the man who cleared this land and lived here back in the early 1800's we live on what was his land and I believe he came to see who we were. He must of liked us because we never saw him/ it again.

Around 11.40 you go in to a room and there is a totally random ball of smoke that follows your direction. It isn't your breath, I'm pretty sure of it from the SS I have taken. Brave man, man! 😂

@@RonnieTheRat Watch the shadow again Is the "other shadow" a person maybe a Colins Mate running past Colin on our blind side that we cant see(shadow caused by the low lights on the ground) it seems to move quicker than Colin but you could be right.

I rewatched the clip where you supposedly see something paranormal more than a dozen times, but I honestly cannot see anything. I can see some resemblances of human body parts in the shadows, but if you closely, they are just that: shadows. In my opinion, you were afraid and the adrenaline kicked in. It's not that I don't believe in the paranormal. However, 99,9% of the time it's our brain and emotions playing tricks on us. Though, I commend your bravery. The fear and terror you felt must have been big.
I agree with you in a sense but If you look properly you will see the face is white the hair is dark and the body features are way to real to be a shadow …

I rewatched a bunch to since i couldnt see it initially then i was able to see it. It looks like a head and shoulders of a shadowy human body and you see it hide behind the chair. its not like a full shadow, just a head behind the chair.
The problem with places like this is that the floors settle so, as you walk and recompress the floor and the floor springs back, it sounds like footsteps from were you were just walking.

10:50 Right at 10:55. Like a 'Ka-ching' from a cash register. Really weird! Awesome stuff.
24:36 Mouse under the lid of the case.
27:52 A thump somewhere.
28:13 Another thump.
30:02 Another bigger thump.
31:57 Noise with a mouse crossing the hallway. Probably the friend of the other mouse having fun scaring the shit out of you :) Love your videos!

They are not ghosts (as in spirits of the dead), but they are spirits of darkness. One sucked the breath out of my father and he couldn't breath. Then I seen a dark transparent figure, like a dark shadow of a small man, hanging on his back. Earlier that night before this happened my (earthy) father said, he will die and go to hell before he would forgive my mother, because they were going through a divorce after 34 years of marriage. More happened that same night that I won't mention now, but if it is granted for them to bring harm on someone or take their life they will do just that, whether you believe or disbelieve.

At 17:38 as you pan across from left to right, there's a shadow moving out of frame (top right) slower than your pan. Slow down the footage and you'll see it. Looks like it's walking and it's very very black. Enjoy.

Honestly one of the most convincing things was the temperature changes... Why would there be that level of difference meters apart without external influence such as wind? Very odd
Can be wall material. Concrete or dry walls cool down quicker than brick or wood. So, when night comes and air temperature drops, those rooms lose their daytime temperature quicker than other rooms where the walls radiate their heat into the air for a bit longer.
