I knew that there was a lot they weren’t showing on the show. Chelsea’s cuts seemed like she was reacting to something, not that she was just starting something out of the blue. Super proud of how she handled everything with beauty and grace. Have been a Chelsea girl from the beginning ❤

This is a bit late, but I just caught up on the show lol. Jimmy is a lot more slick and manipulative than he appears imo. He was incredibly disrespectful towards Chelsea throughout the process, both in what we see and the stuff Chelsea’s mentioned being edited out. I’m guessing he probably got nervous that she would ‘correct the record’ at the reunion and that’s why he reached out to mend things with her right before. Honestly, I was right there with all the Team Jimmy people until the reunion and now hearing Chelsea’s experiences on these podcasts. Paints a completely different picture. And I find Chelsea to be a lot more reliable than Jimmy, who thought it was ok to lie about Jessica and portray her as an angry woman who stormed out on him after 10 minutes, when she did nothing of the sort. The fact that men were sending death threats to Chelsea and Jimmy didn’t own up to his behavior and shut all that nonsense down… is wild

@@tspfullthe thing is, when you are alone you dont get challanged. Everytime i am alone, i feel like I am healed. But its like curing your fear for the sky without ever going out, you may feel healed because you never get confronted with your fear, but it doesnt go away. There is people out there who is safe to be with for a person like this. I have seen it with my own eyes so many times. Some people just dont work out together and bring out the worst in eachother, while other relationships can be so healing for both parts.
I honestly believe that jimmy wasn’t physically attracted to Chelsea , his body language was off you could see in his face once they were revealed to eachother that in his mind he made a mistake. Even the small comments he made about her physical appearance, you have to really pay attention to understand! His body language and the way he talked to Jess at the river, was more intimacy than I ever seen the whole show between him & Chelsea. Once he seen what he passed up on he mentally checked out. I really do believe if it were him & Jess together he would’ve made it work

I didn’t get intimacy from Jimmy while they were on the beach. She seemed smitten and he was being polite. And Jess has a daughter, he was not interested in being a step dad.

update: i keep coming back to her blaming both Jimmy and the edit for what appeared to occur. it really smacks a inability to own what happened on her end. which happens to match what we see onthe edit of the show
I do feel for her in that she seemed to have twisted herself into knots to make something work that seemed so painful. It seemed on air and continues to seem that she wanted Jimmy to change into this person who would be the right fit (the person who he seemed in the pods to her) instead of seeing him for the wrong fit and acting accordingly. He seemed extremely avoidant and emotionally constricted which will always make someone with "big feelings" appear like the are comparatively unhinged.
So here in the interview is something that I think people talk about with her. the idea that one can have a perspective that isn't "right" but yours. in this interview she keeps on talking about appropriate boundaries as the key for boy-girl friendships but appropriate is a relative term and it important to acknowledge there isn't just one way to determine what appropriate is. Clearly her idea of appropriate is not what Jimmy's was and that is ok. she continues to paint her idea of appropriate as what should be considered generally acceptable.
Such a great point! Hopefully the two of them can communicate this better to their future partner way in advance. I remember being very up front with my now husband about friends who I had dated before and vice versa and our communication got better because we talked about boundaries we needed.
Any man who will allow you to be trashed and thrown under the bus knowing the show left out so much and made you look crazy when he knew what he did wrong, doesn't deserve your time or friendship!!! Let Jimmy go.

Chelsea might not see it this way. But i think it wouldn't have worked out either way because he was so absent and he just doesn't look like he wasn't into her. You don't deserve a 2nd divorce. You deserve a man that wants you and that doesn't make you feel insecure. I'm rooting for Chelsea, i just wish she loves herself more. Don't beg for anyone, don't make it work if its only you who is trying to make it work. You deserve the world and I'm excited for Chelsea's next chapter.
I would be comfortable with someone like jimmy because it takes me a long time to get used to physical affection and compliments, but I have been with people more like chelsea and I would have handled them VERY different from what jimmy did. I never felt like eighter of them were bad people from the edit, i just saw attachment styles that didnt work together and usually when that happens we bring put the worst in eachother. Now I look forward to hear the interview!

This interviewer definitely has bias, I think the reunion did a disservice by not pressing too much on Chelsea and Jimmy, it would’ve been nice to see them mention these things in a forum where they could both respond to each other.
As a friend going into this, I knew I was going to be a bit bias but I still made sure to ask the questions people were asking in FB groups, IG and TikTok. The main reason was like you said no focus on pressing them and the camera only showed one side of Chelsea. I’m sure Jimmy will get to share his story over time. Thankfully AD, Jess and other cast mates shared how he did go out and IRL what a confident sweet woman Chelsea is, I’m just happy the other side is out there now.
I don’t understand how people don’t see through the manipulation..twisting of facts..the passive aggressive controlling bs she was putting that man through was sick I felt so bad for Jimmy that he had to experience this toxic MESS.
We only got to see one side of the coin….it was actually skewed toward Jimmy. AD and so many other cast members said that they were surprised how they edited her as IRL she’s strong, confident, and extremely sweet. Just because he looked calm when filmed doesn’t mean he wasn’t passive aggressive. She’s still taking accountability for certain actions in their arguments.

Problem with Chelsea is that MANY TIMES she made sense but mixed valid concerns/points with her insecurities and Jimmy turned the situation to the point she looks crazy. That being said, given everything Chelsea is saying here, WHY she STILL wanted to be with him and even CHASED him 🤨 He was acting weird, don’t wanted to share the place with you, being all in his phone and friendly with those girls (one he slept with - and y’all need to stop with that bs thing of still being in contact with someone who banged you) STILL Chelsea chased him 😭 we need as women to have better standards for ourselves and MORE self love. Here is she, as for yesterday, sharing memories of their relationship like “it was the most beautiful relationship to me”. It doesn’t align with everything she’s saying here

The fact that the interviewer is just agreeing with Chelsea in every aspect and saying jimmy’s friend is at fault and essentially deserved what happened to her is so nasty. Even Chelsea acknowledged it was wrong.
I was just helping start the conversation especially since so many other cast members go on long podcasts early except Chelsea did not. There sounded like a lot of things that built up to that moment with continuous calls and the red flag was he hung out with his friend when Chelsea was out of town. She admits to not handling things perfectly but he also was not an angel.
I'm glad Chelsea found a safe space to talk about her experience. The world is not black or white. Its ok not to pick sides. They just weren't compatible. I'm team neither. Some insecurities are there before the relationship. A man can't give us self-esteem.

I've never seen your channel before, but I am SO grateful you gave Chelsea the opportunity to explain what was really going on. It was clear to me from the beginning that Jimmy was triggering her with his lies and manipulation, and how he basically drove her crazy by saying one thing and doing another. I dont know him, and I hope Chelsea doesn't take offense to my criticisms of him, but I really hope women can learn from this. When a woman behaves the way Chelsea did, there is a REASON for it. That doesn't make it the best way to behave, but people who are being mistreated should not be expected to behave well at all times. Any woman could fall victim to the dynamic Jimmy created with her.
Yes in part that’s why interviewed the way I did. Normally my interviews are normally wellness, leadership, or self growth based focusing on positive spins to how they have gotten to where they are today. I could tell she needed to share but wasn’t getting the opportunity. I think why so many have connected with this is because there are past relationships we’ve experienced where he or she was perceived one way but behind close doors something else was going on.
this is for Chelsea you continuously say that you don’t think you look like this actress, but for some reason it’s flattering enough for you to mention it and that’s the whole premise of it, that you know that it would favor you. You mentioned that the basis of the show falling in love and not seeing someone you’re all about it, but it seems like you had doubt because you had to bring looks into this.. you’re explanation of it on all these platforms just doesn’t convince me or doesn’t make me feel that you were that naïve to realize that you were psychologically bookmarking a hint for him whether if it’s true or not, you dangle a carrot
Agree, and in general am hearing a lot of revisionist history, contradiction, and mis-guided thinking that reminds me of when she tells his parents they never even fight, literally the day after a big blowout. It’s just seeing things through a very different lens.

This was a good interview and very candid. I still think Chelsea handled her relationship issues poorly, however, this jimmy story is actually really eye opening and I wish she would have gotten a chance to tell her side of the story at the reunion. I like them both but unfortunately they were just mismatched.

I'm so annoyed by all the people on Jimmy's side when he showed us ON CAMERA who he was. A liar and manipulator. It continued on the reunion as well. I couldn't stand him from the beginning. I don't agree with everything Chelsea did on the show, but I understand and empathize and sympathize with her. She is so brave and strong to do this with all the hate about her. She might have insecurities but she's sure not weak.

Okay this is my 3rd comment as I’m just finishing up this interview and have finally heard it all. I really do wish Chelsea the best and I think she is a decent person. I do wish she would do a little more reflection. Maybe even study herself through all these interviews and make adjustments as necessary. We don’t all get the priverlage to be our authentic selves on camera like she has. To keep saying you take responsibility for your actions and follow through with a “but…”, for example she said I get that it’s wrong to share Jimmys secret about sex with his friend when I told him I wouldn’t BUT…..That’s like saying I’m not racist but…..or I don’t mean to be rude but…..everyone knows whatever you said before the “BUT…” doesn’t count or you didn’t mean it. Also it’s a little delusional to get mad at the whole ordeal w/his ex, bring it up, justify your actions and then turn around and say you have a lot of guy friends including your ex who you f*cked also. If you think it’s that bad think about how your exes wife feels. You FaceTimed him after your honeymoon. Like how close are yall? What volume does that say about yall? Just some points to self examine on.

I respect your feedback. I wanted to address the bias. Most of my interviews are normally wellness, leadership, or self growth based focusing on positive spins to how they have gotten to where they are today. Being a friend, the portrayal of her really got to me because I had experienced passive aggressive men in the past and I could clearly see the edit from my years of podcasting and on-camera work. Also, I went into all of the FB groups to understand and ask the questions that I saw them constantly bring up. I wanted to start the conversation but I’m hoping interviewers like Nick Vials will continue the dialogue. Lastly, the fact that other cast mates like AD are confirming that IRL chelsea is a strong sweet woman tells me that the whole story wasn’t shown.
Accountability is the keyword. Both of them are just not going to work. It was exhausting to see the "I love yous" in their conversations. with regards to AD, like the other commenter stated, AD saw girly AD not relationship AD.
Hard to villainize Jimmy knowing she kept trying to date him after he called it off. Why keep going if he was so disrespectful?
She definitely doesn't see him as a villain. She's just sharing her feelings & Extra Tv confirmed it was for 4 days they tried dating. I have a feeling they were able to become friends again after but when the show aired it probably brought back a lot of hurtful feelings on both ends.

This podcast had a good sides and Chelsea does need a platform to explain her self, and I am glad to her this, but this is so biased. Not surprisingly, cause you are friends. No hard questions were asked nor perspectives challenged. And ganging up on Jimmy's friend "she inserted her self blah blah" so not cool. Regardless of everything, Chelsea was hard to watch whatever the trigger. She needs extreme support in handling her emotions when challenged. It was a great case study to watch of two incompatible people going against themselves.
For many people Chelsea was a trigger for others Jimmy was a trigger too. The reunion was the 1st time I heard someone speak up for Chelsea. When AD said how strong IRL Chelsea was and the footage confused her, people's ears started perking up. He's had many interviews already and I'm hopeful that Chelsea will get more too. They both to deserve to move on with their voices heard.

The mental gymnastics to make anyone but herself responsible for how she spoke and behaved is mind boggling. If his words didn’t match his actions she should have brought that up instead of making up nonsense about him being with Jess or spinning AD around. This is all spin to get away from personal responsibility. She will continue to self-sabotage, she learned nothing.

Halfway through the interview and I’m having so much trouble reconciling how incongruent Chelsea’s message is with what we saw. For example, she says she loved him, she said Jimmy was inconsistent and who he was off camera was different. So different that she made it seem like she could tell he was actually not his person. And yet on camera she was so ready to marry him. Okay, so what was it? Either Jimmy was who he portrayed himself out to be or not and she was crazy. It’s one or the other.

It's because she was trying to make it work despite his behavior. And it's such a short time frame
Also - didn't she admit he was at work when they weren't filming. Being a remote employee, I understand the importance of having a dedicated workspace free of distraction. She likely wanted him to dote on her in between his meetings. She's toxic and can't take any ownership. Any time she is found to be at fault she immediately shifts the blame to others. It's never just her. Sad the reunion show didn't touch on their story because I'm sure if she brought any of this up he would be able to counter it.
I'm sorry, Chelsea is not a drinker? Her worst moments, in my own opinion, where when she was drinking! She loses all ability to regulate her emotions when under the influence. I don't mean that as a judgment, rather it's an observation.
She acknowledges that in the interview that it is was not the right time and never is to argue after drinking. In social situations she never goes overboard. These shows are really good at getting their contestants liquored up and lots of sleep depravation keeping them up late. Not an excuse...something that needs to be talked about and done better. They do this to prompt their talent to stir up drama.

This has given me so much clarity on Chelsea! I feel horrible for ever viewing her otherwise. This season of LIB is the first time I’ve ever watched a reality television show and while I’m not dumb and knew that it’s entertainment, not all based on facts, etc, I’m appalled at how they’ve taken snippets of life and edited them to make people look like things they aren’t. This interview alone changes my entire perspective! I need an interview like this for each of them! 🤣
Also, the fact that almost every man there had something dumb to say about how fast it was all going makes me want to scream. It’s not like they didn’t know how the show works, the timeline, etc. If they didn’t think moving that fast was for them then why did they agree to be on the show?
Right I feel more of the men need to fill out an application even if they are scouted! Seasons 1, 3 & 4 really showed that the experiment worked. It was just a shame how a lot of 6 went for a few participants.
I definitely thought Trevor's emphasis on wanting a gym partner in his bio was a red flag. Can't believe they didn't show that side to him in the episodes.
I really wish they would have shown that too since fitness is a huuuge part of his life.

I love Chelsea. I was really routing for her and Jimmy, but now im just so glad she dodged that bullet. I knew there was more to these intense emotional conversations.

This makes me wonder if Jimmy was even in the show for the right reasons, or stayed dating her through the end for the right reasons. I hope he was since she says she is good with him now.

I always loved Chelsea. I can honestly say it always felt like she was dealing with a guy who wasn’t all in but wanted to play the “game. Felt like she was gaslit a lot and dating a guy who wanted to expand his tender portfolio.

Admittedly, my thoughts about certain friendships might be considered old fashion. However, , Jimmy’s relationship with his “friend” is inappropriate and disrespectful. . You had every right to express yourself and emphasize the importance of boundaries.

I think Chelsea got a really bad edit because Jimmy was being fake for the cameras and show and was basically gaslighting Chelsea
Also, the friendships with the exes, whether someone being a male or female, it seem to be a dealbreaker I just didn’t understand why that didn’t make you part way from the beginning

I have dated a guy just like Jimmy! He is not one of a kind… he is kind of a lot. I went through all the heartbreak of his “one foot out the door” tendencies and actions.
I wouldn’t be surprised if he wasn’t showing much affection outside of the cameras. He seems very conscious over how he & his relationships are perceived, specifically when he was very uncomfortable with Chelsea saying “look at the strongest couple” and it wasn’t them. Like yeah you are having some arguments, you may not be the strongest couple. I also think Chelsea has that issue to some extent but in front of the camera she seemed to be pretty true to herself, letting all sides of her show.
I wish we got to see all the clips from a 3rd party perspective but I can understand freaking out if someone is acting different on & off the camera, that would make me feel gaslighted. I really disliked the way she handled arguments but I wish we saw more of their relationship.
I wish we would've seen more of it too. Normally my interviews are more about wellness, personal development, & leadership but I love the feedback for future episodes I do with reality stars. What I had noticed was no one was getting deep with Chelsea and other castmates were getting to share their stories early on. I'm hoping our conversation is the start of other outlets picking her up. Her edit didn't do her justice. Even AD on the reunion said it was off.
if only jimmy was honest it could’ve gone in a different direction i think. it felt like he had to find a quick and easy way to blame you for breaking up the marriage. its not okay in any relationship to be ‘friends’ with people you sleep with, that’s not a thing lol it’s disrespectful.

Jimmy was not giving Chelsea what she needed emotionally and physically so I’m surprised that she still wanted to go to the altar.
I have been a staunch supporter of Chelsea since the beginning. I just knew there was more to the story. Happy to hear her fill in the blanks.
I am with Chelsea on alot of points. Jimmy said all the words, but clearly didn't show actions. Jimmy lied when confronted about spinning AD around and saying " When did I say that?" Like he couldn't recall saying not to initiate intimacy with him, when he definitely said it. Jimmy did not love her and was not attracted to her at all. Chelsea is a very pretty woman. Just not his type. Chelsea felt all of these things, and became unhinged and looked nuts and desperate. She should have cut this thing off when she felt this way. His words and actions didn't match. But instead of either of them ending the torture for themselves and viewers, ( even though viewers love drama) they chose to drag this mess out til the end. Did they do it to stay on the show as long as possible? Perhaps.Jimmy I'm almost certain did. Maybe Chelsea was just hoping and praying his actions would begin to match his words and was delusionally hopeful.

This is really bazaar and very contradictory the whole way through… my brain hurts! She asked do you feel you’ve been portrayed right…. Noooo not at all?! But the whole way admits she was insecure …All the stories she told Just confirms yup that matches up with what everyone thought … he wasn’t gonna marry her so what’s the problem… all that portrays what I saw! this is craziness if what she said whole time is true then yes the show showed them accurately. They can’t show everything! But clearly they showed yall pretty great cause people were right. She blames everyone but justifies herself …Don’t say you think he wasn’t ready for marriage but act like you were and put that on him when you yourself say you had to get help for your insecurities and how this show helped you recognize your flaws?!?! Soooo you weren’t ready then ??? We didn’t need to see anymore girl we saw enough trust me we got it!!! It was clear yall didn’t work… The whole talk she contradicted herself left and right. I’m just confused lol! This is a mess! Prob why friends shouldn’t interview eachother they ain’t gonna call you out and they are totally bias!
