Those types of steering wheel locks are the worst deterrent for car thieves, because they just cut through the steering wheel, pull the lock through and drive off.
I’m thinking either the tire lock or steering wheel lock. Either way they can bash the window and find nothing to take and I’d say, “well the window can be replaced, as long as I have my ride and I’m still alive, that’s the main thing.”
Kill switch is the best. Another inexpensive way is to wrap a cut proof chain around the gas pedal and brake real tight and thtow good quality padlock.
@Autumn Heinz dunno where your from but who calls a manual transmission stick? what you call an auto? magic stick? lol, in 15 years of driving I've only ever seen an automatic once n that was because the person had a missing leg who owned the car, no one drives an auto unless you got something wrong with you.
I had a my 97 accord stolen twice, managed to get it back beat up & in working conditions but they took everything. My advice would be to not keep anything of value not a bunch of things you want to get stolen in you car, that way whatever happens to your car you don’t lose it, also steering wheels suck balls, a big enough knife or a saw will cut the steering wheel & will be so easy to still drive your car it almost does nothing. Keep you car safe with a Car Brake Lock 🔒Highly recommend
Magnetic GPS tracker under the car or hidden under the hood or the spare tire is your best option... and you can call the Police to track down your car before the scumbag finds it
I rather have an anti theft device so my vehicle isn't stolen in the first place. With GPS tracker, your vehicle can be stolen and trashed before anyone locates it.
Why the fuck do so many people still include steering wheel locks in their "best" anti-theft device lists? EVERYWHERE you look you can find comments about how easy they are to beat.
Searing wheel locks don t work!!!!!!!!!!! They can be broken with a piece of pipe, picked open or they just cut the steering wheel its self freeing the club.
I just had an idea how to make you truck easier for you to start (without having to open the hood) and an alarm that cannot be accidentally activated. Install a 3 way kill switch inside your vehicle that cuts off the power to the starter, yet turns on an alarm when u try to start the car without first turning off the 3 way kill switch. Hide the kill switch in a place that is hard to locate inside the cab. Once the alarm is activated, no thief will stick around to find out where you hid the kill switch.
Jan Phillip Gapayao theifs target the high performance sports cars,if they want your car they wont leave untill they done damage trying to take it.most anti theft devices are useless anyway, criminals are allways 1 step ahead ,best way to combat theft is out of sight out ot mind.if they cant see it,then it dont exist.
...Best security system??...a car with 3-speed manual on the column(aka-3 on the tree), and a carburetor with inoperable choke...used to be anybody could start and drive a car like that, but now nobody would know the routine of romping the gas pedal until it fires and holding the pedal at fast idle until it warmed up, nor how to shift the transmission... :)
many of these locks for your steer or whatever have either a shitty keyway that is easy to be picked or come with a cheap padlock that you can hopefully replace. There was this one pedal lock which used a core which is a disc detainer, very secure because brands like abloy use 12 discs or more. That chinese pedal lock had only 1 disc, so you could open it with a bent paper clip.
Steering wheel lock is not effective. My co-worker misplace his keys to the steering wheel lock and still was able to drive to work with the lock on. My uncle used one to lock his car, but his son cut the steering wheel and drove it. When he was done just slide the lock back in place.
Utterly useless video. Thanks. Btw it's almost 2020. If a gps tracker with a hefty subscription cost or shitty range is the best weve been able to do, the thieves have won the game. Game over.
Fidel It's a deterrent, and an extra layer of security. A thief is more likely to discard your car with a steering lock over one that does not have it. Look at RUclips videos of thieves not even attempting to steal cars with the lock in place.
Every one can be defeated. If your a pro. Probably wheel clamp the best one. But now . A die grinder 2mins. The tracker. Jammer gsm. Crook lock has a tubular lock. Real easy to pick. If they want it .They get it.
just keep a recording of this stupid music in your car and it will be safe
🤣🤣🤣
I liked the music actually.
It’s catchy af
Lmao!!!
😂
put the steering wheel lock on backwards facing the dashboard so it can't be drill out or picked

Manual Transmission????
Only works in america tho
They’ll still take it
I have a 5speed manual and mine was taken lol I just got it back after the police found it this morning

I cant believe they list the club as one of the best anti theft devices. lol
yeah you can saw through the steering wheel and get it off. but it's a deterrent.
I'm going to get the tire lock and put it on all 4 tires!!
Remove the fuel fuse and put the club on backwards so the lock can’t be drilled out
Just get a $5 ebay gsm relay with gps. Remote kill the car with your phone, get gps location and go pick it up. Easy peezy
How do you remote kill your car with your phone? Gotta have WiFi or Cellular connection, right?

@@katel3962 what anti theft device would you recommend?
Steering wheel lock is mainly for road rage
😂😂😂😂
Do like me. Park behind a fence with aggressive dogs behind that can free roam. No worries! Cars going to be there. 100%.
Uh, that doesn't protect your vehicle while you're out n about doing errands, or at work.
So you bring your dogs and fence to the supermarket?

REMOVE BRAKE PADS.... and park unlocked.... keep keys on dashboard..... hahahaahaa

silver just in case its a werethief

not having a car is the best deterrent.
Steering wheel locks can be readily removed by simply cutting through the steering wheel itself.
Why you have the put this stupid music on?!

I've had my car stolen four times last year and the cops did nothing so I'm going to be installing these devices on my car
uncle tom what car do you have?
Taking my car is a death wish!
Steering locks are easy to break into. It shouldn’t be #1
Steering lock is worst ever. It is very easy to remove, you just need to make a cut in steering wheel and its easy remove lock through this cut.
dziubek123 I agree with you :) that is old technology... But, for me Zeder(google it) is No.1 in those "best anti theft devices" :)
That’s why you put it at he bottom of the steering wheel
dziubek123 it’s a deterrent. Not bullet proof.
I getting more. Right noe

So true! My old Bronco is 3 on the tree and it needs to be started a certain way or she will not fire up
Noticed no break petal locks?
Stearing wheel ones don't work. All you gotta do is snip one end of the Stearing wheel n off it goes.
The steering wheel lock is no good UNLESS the steering wheel itself cannot be cut through!

Steering wheel locks cant get bent,my van got stolen with one installed,3 days later recovered but with no tools inside and a bent steering wheel club
Just remove fuel pump fuse or relay
Micheal Robinson they can use another fuse from the fuse box in your car lmao
luisbrandolb your right but whats the chances of a thief thinking it's a fuse issued
boostedsil40. Right my friend
I actually do this, i remove the fuse. As boostedsil40 says, they might thing there's a kill switch and they wont find anything.
Every time i take out battery from my car.
Gas or some type of trap to get rid of the thieves for good.
Remember cordless power tools have changed everything.
The brake lock is the best
yup
Having a decent GPS tracker installed in my car gives me confidence that I have means to locate it in case of theft.
why? its totaled after theft recovery.
just have full coverage, get paid for it. move on with life.
@@quintontimstfu thief apologist

just have manual car lmao
I have a "break to steering wheel lock". The bar goes past the pedal, to the floor, adding ZERO movement!
all those are jokes
unless you combine several
The steering wheel locks are a waste of money, they just cut the steering wheel and slide it off
kill switch faraday flib protector too
Lol don't waste your money with the steering wheel lock. Thief can easily saw one side of the steering wheel and remove the lock bar.
A steering wheel lock may, and I mean mean act as a deterrent, its not going to offer much security if a thief decides they want your ride.
my mom is a good deterrent
The mosts imple one is, get a stick shift
