  • This is my reaction to the new Idles Song "Gift Horse". This track will be featured on their upcoming album TANGK on February 16th 2024. Vegetable oil is cheap but these new Idles tracks are spared no expense, enlisting the production services of none other that Nigel Godrich, (Radiohead,Travis, Beck, Air, Paul McCartney, U2, R.E.M., Pavement, Roger Waters and Arcade Fire).
Thank you for watching and take good care,
    Colin

I'm tucked away down in the Adelaide hills. Has been quite tolerable since I got down here. Need to break these Canadian tan lines though. cheers.

London? They are from Bristol. Peaky Blinders was based in Birmingham...
All that is forgiven because you let the video ROLL.
Also, you are so right about Coldplay. Good work!

Birmingham also gave us Black Sabbath. Thanks for watching. Great album. Can’t wait to see what they get up to next.

@@colinlamb Yes, the roots of heavy metal are with Black Sabbath and Birmingham.
You might be into Fontaines D.C.- big buzz over the new album. They are evolving nicely...

The bass is not menacing, it's soul-massaging!! The video and the song are masterpieces! There's tons of symbolism and references for example the cop gagging while picking out a card for a mother he doesn't like. The lovers, the fighters. They guy picking out party favors and smoking a cigarette while checking his pressure in a t-shirt that claims he's dying. Bobo in a dress on a mechanical bull blurring the line between masculinity and femininity. Dev accentuating his trademark hip-sway dance with rotating fireworks, the kid on a leash desperate for his smart phone. The giant bull instead of a horse. This song is great!
I'm a guitar player too, and I WISH I could make sounds as good as these guys and their drummer is top notch, too.
