What a beauty. I have a 57 12 hp elto and a 58 12hp viking that my son was ripping around this summer at 22mph. They are great running reliable motors. Cheers
What kind of boat are you running on? This boat seems to be a bit slow compared to others of its size. An 18hp Johnson only pushes it 25mph with one person. A '49 10hp does 14mph, a '61 15hp Gale did 20mph. Not sure why this one isn't quite as fast (18mph) as it is essentially the same as the '61 15hp since the powerhead replacement.
@@NotesFromTheFridge Its a 12foot boat an older one. Sons about 100lbs then we put the tank and anchor as far frontward as possible. I keep telling him. If your gonna burn all my gas you've gotta bring me a few walleye back at least. Lol. I also have 2 15 buçaneers a 1960 and the sunburst orange 1961. I got the 61 running this summer and didnt notice much more jam than the 12's. Even with the 1/8 more bore. Good chatting man.
Old school don't stop!!😊
Damn, she runs really good!! 👍
