You are welcome, thanks for watching!
Gotta be careful on the 3rd technique though, might just hyperextend the knee
THAT'S WAS BEAUTIFUL
Nice
that's greate!!! :D
frankly??those were pretty sick moves.
well done.
Yeah, I really enjoyed all the stuff in this video, some of which I had not seen anywhere else before!!
Nr. 3 is a killer technique. High probability of permanently damaging the opponent's leg.
good tutorial
For sure, glad you liked it!!
Impressive
Glad you enjoyed it, check out Steven's other vids on this channel when you get chance, they are all really good!
🔥
The roundhouse after the teep sweep was sick.
Yeah, I liked that one as well, thanks for watching!
Cheers mate
Tech no. 4 is a bit dangerous because when the opponent throws mid kick, you go under it and you right hand goes down to give your low kick a better whip, so that mid kick might end up in your head, no?
Take a closer look when he does the technique: You'll see he moves AWAY from the kick going in the same direction as it. Also his shoulder is up by his chin and he crunch his body slightly to that side which makes his head dip away as well. Finally the kick to the head is a much longer kick than the kick to the leg. Most of the time your leg kick will land and take their balance before their kick even lands. Hope this helps.
2:53 I would like to see how you catch the leg with gloves :-)
So on the first technique i take the notoriously powerful thai kick to the ribs so i can toss the leg down and get a kick to his leg???
Have you never caught kicks before?
Only one think can you withstand a good strong kick on the intercostal area?
1:13 without hook and push leads to kick 3:11 4:09
no en tendi niuna wa
redirecting the punch seems a bit risky
Stepping into the ring is risky
ok you push down the front kick of your opponent and low kick but shouldn't it be more than a single kick ? I mean , you low kicked and there must be sometingh after that, otherwise it would be a single shot.
It could be more than a single kick for sure but for the purpose of this tutorial where the aim was to target the leg, Steven just emphasised the low kick. Muay Thai characteristically has a good proportion of single techniques mixed in with combinations to damage and offset the opponent! Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!
Anyways i loved this one. Cos i am a low kick master like ramon dekkers i adored it obviously
Caching the kick could be risky because you could break your rib. In kyokushin Karate you do not want to catch kicks because of the power generated in them.
5.40 min was bullshit a good Boxer would never let someone catch the arm an Sweep it to the side like that it's a Push technique and they are much slower than shock techniques never try to catch the Jab like that u would definetly get punched in the Face or even the Cross would get u
I am sure that most techniques and applications work great for some and not for others. Steven here demonstrated some of the ways he gets his fighters to work and I am confident that in the right context all will work if the timing is correct/application is confident. If this video is not for you I sincerely hope you find some others more to your liking on this channel, there really as some excellent instructors featured. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!
