    Great instruction, detailed yet concise. Kudos to your training partner for taking all those teeps and knees for us. Thanks.

    Good point on teep making it a jab/flick kick instead of a push. I always tried pushing and I'd find myself getting pushed, or lacking range, or just generally not very effective teeps that I gave up on using them offensively

      Yeah. Really, really nice and simple. Gonna really drill the timing of it and how to really sell it as a cross. They aint gonna know what hit them haha.

    Sweeps are some of the most effective aspects of the Siamese Martial Arts, both for fighting under Thai rules, and for being able to apply to modern street application, effectiveness, and practicality.

    • @oneinchpunched3661
      @oneinchpunched3661 3 месяца назад

      For sure. Its such an unexpected move for most and we who train Muay Thai all know how its both demoralising, humiliating and potentially knocks the wind out of you in a split second. And in a street fight, you are really vulnerable during those seconds that it takes for you to get back on your feet. If Im nice I´ll get a head start escaping the scene, and if Im feeling the other way, I could soccer kick you so that you dont get up. Good of you mentioning the self defence street fight application.
