That's a good point. Since they know the show can be very popular and that they can commit to two more seasons, I hope they take the time and budget to go all out, taking the feedback from season 1, and making it even better and more consistent.

This is exciting! Season 1 was a little rough, but I believe that is has a lot of potential. Albert Kim is also great at using feedback from fans and using it to improve. I have faith.
Yeah it was rough but nothing that can't be fixed. The biggest problems I had were Roku and Bumi being fundamentally different (especially Roku) and them not developing the Aang and katara romance. In fact, it felt like they actively tried to avoid that, which worries me a little because it had a lot of impact on the story. I mean I guess they could just change the love interests for both of them. Wouldn't be the end of the world but it was definitely a big part of the original cartoon and I wouldn't like that change either so I hope they bring it back for season 2 and I also hope they'll finally show Aang actually learning to bend different elements. This video is an example of why the online hate mob should cut the bs and give the show a chance. These actors clearly love the series and are doing a great job so far.
the show is not perfect but its really good, i love both the animated series and the live action, i just think they should cut the crap of 8 episodes only, the series should be at least 15 episodes!
I can't wait to see the epic fight of Aang + Katara vs Zuko + Azula in the crystal cave of Ba Sing Se. I hope to see that in amazing live action choreography.
Thank you so much for adding to the show new scenes, which we haven't seen in original show! I really loved that, especially the scenes with Gyatso and... Agni Kai between Ozai and Zuko!
This makes me so happy! They clearly love this show, and people really just aren't looking past whatever flaws it may have, there's literally so much room for them to improve as the series progresses.
Looks the part and can act it almost perfectly. Can't imagine anyone else in the role really. I bet season 2 and 3 will have the last little hickups smoothed out and be even more awesome.
I love this. There was clearly so much heart put into the live action. I thought the writing was weak, but it was still entertaining and has strong potential. I hope Netflix listens to some of the feedback and blows the next two seasons out of the water.

Uncle Iroh is a cool uncle in real life. That’s some sick setup goin’ on. Waaaaay too cool for an”uncle” 😂 Love the guy! Loved how he gave an emotional depth to the character in the LA series.
One of the best decisons Netflix has taken. Renewing both Season 2 and 3 of Netflix's show is a great decision as they can be shot together to combat the aging problem of young actors.
Super excited on the show’s renewal and I’m so excited on the introduction of Toph (aka Blind Bandit/Melon Lord) and the show’s interpretation of The Serpent’s Pass and Ba Sing Se.
I already know the pain of cancellations so I’m glad they’re still going. I really love the live action and changes they made. Katara being her own teacher and getting that fast growth was the best part for me
@@vedicmetalhead1029 agree with you here. My biggest criticisms about the show are directly related to Katara and her inconsistent character development. She lost against Pakku, sure. But given the conclusion of her S1 journey, she might as well have wiped the floor with him effortlessly, Captain Marvel style... It's not him being confronted with the harm his beliefs and traditions caused to the people he loves and is trying to protect. It's him being "beaten to senses"
Im literally teary eyed for them😅 i mean.. they still have much to offer, as well as the show. Like, i will never forgive netflix if i dont see tophs character in the next season. Shes like the much awaited character❤❤❤ love you guys!!
as a long time atla fan, i’ve really enjoyed watching the adaptation. it may not be an exact replica, but honestly i kind of like that about this one. it’s still sticking to the main premise of the story but adding more at the same time. plus, for me at least, the actors are pretty similar to what i would have imagined them to look
When the reviews is mixed or negative from critiques and fanbased, but number 1 on 80+ countries says a lot... my main concern now is the casting for TOPH, that woukd be really hard to pull off... Also UNCLE IROH'S SETUP AT HIS ROOM IS SOOO NERDY AND PROBABLY A GAMER TOO!! Haha love it!!
I also hope they remove the quirky blind jokes to an extent maybe leave 1 or 2 in, it's not really believable that they forget she is blind like every 2 episodes

I'm so happy! I can see all the hard work and love that each of you have put into this production! You are all amazingly talented, and it's such a joy to watch you bring this beloved story to life! I think some people have become so fixated on the technical and comparing the original series that they've forgotten what the overall message is all about. It's about love, hope, and bringing all nations together! You have done a great job in capturing the depth and the emotion of the characters and the heart of the series. There is someome we can all relate to. I can't wait for Season 2 and Season 3. In your face critics!
This video showed two things. One is how much they loved working on the show and especially how much they loved working on the show together. Secondly, when you see the look of disappointment on their faces, it's the sinking realization that as actors they will all need to find new jobs, which doesn't come easy, especially to those who look like them.
The Avatar will return, with AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER renewed for Season 2 and Season 3 on Netflix!

Im hoping that now that they know theyre confirmed for 2 seasons they can work on pacing a bit better rather going by the mind of shit, we dont know if we'll get another so we got put all this in. Liked the show. Everything around the fire nation and its characters were probably the best part of the show in my subjective opinion.
Also usually the first season of shows are never the best either.
Uncly Iroh has the best set up man! Literally on fire!
Our boy uncle Iroh is out there cooking
Like when is his album dropping?
Stop misusing "literally" what are you? A prepubescent teenage girl?
Fr, he looks like a gamer
he has a stream with his wife i think! i read that they sing and play instruments aside from chatting
Seeing the actors show such genuine excitement for the show makes me like the show even more, best of luck to all of the cast and crew!
Daniel deserves an Oscar. That announcement was very convincing 🏆
And his face looks perfect... and that voice.. omg
@@annanowak9620 that man looks so good at 55! And his muscular body with the cape in the Agni kai. Damn.
NETFLIX, if you're reading this. Please make them atleast 10 episodes per season. 😢
Or... Hear me out.... Twenty 30 minute episodes.
If they do that then they have to reduce the run time per episode
@@gtone339that would be a good thing everything feels so crammed together
@@gtone339yeah please do that though
difficult to film a lot with a child actor unfortunately
Daniel Dae Kim playing a cruel joke on these guys is so Ozai coded i love him
This video is an example of why the online hate mob should cut the bs and give the show a chance. These actors clearly love the series and are doing a great job so far.
the show is not perfect but its really good, i love both the animated series and the live action, i just think they should cut the crap of 8 episodes only, the series should be at least 15 episodes!
_Exactly!_
The actors need to get writers and director that good they make actors dirty
Give the show a chance?
That's what happened.
They did and were let down.
nobody's blaming the damn actors. Everyone's disappointed with the writing and story direction choices.
I can't wait to see the epic fight of Aang + Katara vs Zuko + Azula in the crystal cave of Ba Sing Se.
I hope to see that in amazing live action choreography.
You forgot to mention Aang vs Ozai final fight 😍😍😍!!!
i think that s2 will be better than 1 bc s2 things getting serious so they wont change the important scenes
I agree, most of them can't seem to understand that we don't look exactly like 2d cartoon drawings
OMGGGG SEASON 2 AND 3?!?!
yeah season 3 is the last one
@@c-mc Depends if they have the Korra rights included or not

We'll get to see more of Suki 😍😍
Thank you so much for giving this Filipino-Canadian boy a chance to play the lead role.🙏🏻❤🎉🎉
Looks the part and can act it almost perfectly. Can't imagine anyone else in the role really. I bet season 2 and 3 will have the last little hickups smoothed out and be even more awesome.
That was so Ozai of him but I'M SO HAPPY FOR THE RENEWAL!!
I love this. There was clearly so much heart put into the live action. I thought the writing was weak, but it was still entertaining and has strong potential. I hope Netflix listens to some of the feedback and blows the next two seasons out of the water.
Heck yeah! Very happy to hear this news. As a fan who grew up with the original, it is easy to see that everyone behind the making of this adaptation had their hearts in the right place. The casting is absolute perfection, and I’m greatly looking forward to books two and three! Can’t wait!
The first time Daniel said they weren't going to announce season 2 it almost gave me a heart attack. And when Daniel said they were going to announce season 2 and 3, tears of excitement and joy came to my eyes.😢🎉🎉🎉
Yes...Congratulations everyone!! so deserving and loved all the performances!!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
How cool is Paul Sun-Hyung Lee‘s room? Damn
He's also got a RUclips channel
Let's go!!! Now we need to hope that the showrunners listens to the criticisms that were given for the live action season 1, to improve s2 and s3.
Specialy now they arr older and bettrr!
That’s probably why they renewed season 2 and 3 for the aging problem
exactly!
probably not back to back, most of the cast is still underage, but definitely with less time in between, like 6 months of difference or so…
From the beginning, it has been said that if the Avatar show was successful, both seasons would be renewed immediately to combat that aging problem
How does that work? They only have 24h a day right? Or will they be working for the upcoming 2 years from now on? With less breaks?
Super excited on the show’s renewal and I’m so excited on the introduction of Toph (aka Blind Bandit/Melon Lord) and the show’s interpretation of The Serpent’s Pass and Ba Sing Se.
That must be the most amazing thing to hear being an actor. Especially some of the cast with very new acting experience b
0:53 THE WHOLE SEQUENCE IS SO FUNNY THE REALIZATIONS AND REACTIONS THE BALLOONS AND IRON HEART
I already know the pain of cancellations so I’m glad they’re still going. I really love the live action and changes they made. Katara being her own teacher and getting that fast growth was the best part for me
they completely butchered katara in the live action
Zuko Sokka iroh Carried the show btw..katara was the biggest disappointment by far..but still a good show ..can be better tho ..
Katara becoming a master on her own is nothing but moronic. She learned all that from a scroll and naruto-talk-no-jutsu of Jet. Like wtf?
@@Faramir1104 did you not watch katara isnt on a master lvel of waterbemding yet they just made het good she still lost to paku
Aww such a cutie casts. I love these guys. Love from the 🇵🇭
Daniel really stepping to Lord Ozai’s mind games. Congrats. We running it back.
i didn't expect they gonna make season 3 as well! thank you netflix!
i will give you my heart
Can’t wait too see more of this amazing cast❤️
Im literally teary eyed for them😅 i mean.. they still have much to offer, as well as the show. Like, i will never forgive netflix if i dont see tophs character in the next season. Shes like the much awaited character❤❤❤ love you guys!!
“Lu Ten would had been proud to have you as a father” ~ Prince Zuko
as a long time atla fan, i’ve really enjoyed watching the adaptation. it may not be an exact replica, but honestly i kind of like that about this one. it’s still sticking to the main premise of the story but adding more at the same time. plus, for me at least, the actors are pretty similar to what i would have imagined them to look
"That was evil"
Me, a Silksong fan every time I go to a videogame showcase or announcement of any kind:
When the reviews is mixed or negative from critiques and fanbased, but number 1 on 80+ countries says a lot... my main concern now is the casting for TOPH, that woukd be really hard to pull off... Also UNCLE IROH'S SETUP AT HIS ROOM IS SOOO NERDY AND PROBABLY A GAMER TOO!! Haha love it!!
I also hope they remove the quirky blind jokes to an extent maybe leave 1 or 2 in, it's not really believable that they forget she is blind like every 2 episodes
@@danielelder6361in my opinion it is believable that they’d forget, especially considering Toph can navigate using the ground underneath her as her eyes.
@@danielelder6361 hell no, I'm expecting all the jokes, they're hilarious because they keep forgetting about it by the fact that she can move around with no help
gotta do something about azula's casting too let alone mai.. azula is too big, nneed a recast
@@leofreire8540 it won't be as funny and more gimmicky in live action I think but we will see I guess. As long ng as the casting works I'm fine tbh
my man is really ozai with that evil gaslightling LMAO
The show was a hit because it's for everyone, even my dogs watch it. Can't wait for Toph!! Thank you Netflix! 🎉
I can’t wait for her too!!!
i mean i liked Iroh before, but LOOK AT THAT ROOM!! thats soo cool
Paul has said it before, but he’s the biggest nerd for stuff there can be,I mean dudes in freakin Star Wars and now is freaking uncle Iroh, how do you not be a nerd in that situation (using nerd in the positive sense) fuckin awesome to see such a positive influence be in meaningful projects to me (I grew up with both Star Wars and atla)

I am extremely excited for upcoming seasons 💪💪💪
I love the aang actor caught on well early compared to everyone else
He had a vision
he's like wait a second here lol
Ozai's Live Action Actor: we are not getting season 2... but we are getting season 2 and 3!!
Ozai in ATLA: we are not conquering Ba Sing Se... but we are conquering the whole world!!
I just hope writers can do the characters justice the next two seasons bc the entire cast is so lovely, I just know they could portray the character well. They have great chemistry with each other in the interviews.
I love that whole cast. Thank you for sharing this.
0:33 DANIEL YOU ARE ABOUT TO MAKE THEM ALL CRYYYYYY DANIEL YOU EVIL MAN 😂
Yes!! Yes yes yes!!! S2 and S3 LETS GOO!!!
The show was AMAZING, as someone who never watched the Last Airbender cartoon this show got me into the world, well done to all who made it :)
That’s wonderful. The live action One Piece got me watching the One Piece anime and now I’m obsessed with One Piece. That said, I do recommend watching the animated Avatar the Last Airbender. And though it’s my second favorite show and not my first, i can only say this about ATLA and no other show: It speaks to my soul

Great news. I love the first season. Aang is so adorable
His Ozai was eeping out there
You all did a great job bringing to life a classic anime. Thanks, im looking forward to seasons 2 & 3!
I’ve watched this show 26 times too, AND Aang is my favorite character. I knew I liked you :) keep doing a great job with the best Avatar!
1:06 she’s throwing those azula hands in mild frustration 😂
I LOVED SEASON 1. I CANT WAIT UNTIL SEASON 2/3
This video showed two things. One is how much they loved working on the show and especially how much they loved working on the show together. Secondly, when you see the look of disappointment on their faces, it's the sinking realization that as actors they will all need to find new jobs, which doesn't come easy, especially to those who look like them.
