The actors have significantly better chemistry off set than in the show
the show was filmed in 2021, these interviews are from 2024 so they probably grew closer over time

sokka and katara feel more like sokka and katara irl than in the show
I think Sokka was the best overall but yea agreed. Honestly a lot of it was the writing. They stripped Kataras character worst of all of em.

@@panana6084 if they take feedback (writers and directors I mean), then yes I agree. They all 100% have the right potential and dynamic together. But the wack story telling and chopping of characters into almost PC parody versions of their story lines and personalizations is the biggest issue. Visuals were awesome though.

Tbf they filmed it immediately post covid, so they cldnt bond but hopefully for season 2 and 3 its better cuz the cast is really good and the source material is solid
Watching this makes me more sad than happy. Especially for Kiawentiio, she is so fun and fierce irl meanwhile they made her Katara be the dullest possible. Its a crime.
You can’t compare her current self to the show that she shot a long time ago, it’s obvious that she is older and has evolved

And there are eight one-hour episodes of the new show, so they only needed to make two more episodes.' But it’s not exactly one-to-one there, so that was the process we went through."

In the show his just 11/12 years old. He is 14 now, of course his baby teeth have almost changed.

Sorry to disappoint you put at 11 years old, 99% of the baby teeth have been replaced by the adult teeth, the molars are the last baby teeth remaining but I was obviously not talking about his molars.
