I tried the Romanian phone number but it doesn't work. So I tried the US phone number, wrote the instalation ID and they say "I'm sorry but I couldn't validate your installation ID. Please double-check and try again".
Doesn't work anymore. Phone for toll free is blank. Using the number on here phone activation says it can't verify my product number. Possibly because its talking about win 10 and not 7
I tried the U.S phone number and it said my installation ID couldn't be verified even if I said it correctly and it said I probably don't have a valid product key. Edit: I was using Windows 7 Professional for this which I did not have a product key for so I ended up installing Home Premium which I did have a product key for and the automated phone system worked there when Windows said the key was invalid so I think this will actually still work as long as you have a real product key for now.
Calling the United States phone number puts you through a process that is even more painful. You have to speak the numbers instead of typing them. Be sure to save the numbers, they may work the next time.

along with the cd key and hardware if its OEM not sure about retail
