- Hey guys, In this video I am gonna go through the phone system activation on Windows XP. This is honestly a really cool way to activate Windows and I am sad you can't really do it with newer versions of Windows.

@Hardware Trials: not sure what you meant, but with a valid key, you can still activate W7 over the phone... most OEM keys I'm buying on the Net (mostly for T&M equipment, scopes, generators & co) require phone activation, online fails almost systematically (not sure though, whether it's related to my W7 image, or to the keys...?)
it did worked with Windows 7, and I am quite surprised that they remained offering the phone activation on its older OS's.
They keep it most likely for companies with software that require older OSes like XP

he probably didnt even see enderman to get this idea, even if it was originally made by enderman he has to actually get the idea from him in order to be inspired.

Have to do this _again_ because it's telling me I have to reactivate because of hardware changes (that I never made). I install Daemon tools, restart, and suddenly this error. What nonsense.
I sure as hell hope this works again.

If you send a message, it will be faster to activate by talking to the robot. But now it has stopped sending you messages and the robot will ask you to read the activation code, so it may take a while

Lol I did it too and it worked. I tried to use the number from Mexico but did not work, used the number from United States instead. I also did all by voice.

I have a product key memorized in my head for Windows XP Professional Corporate Edition since 2005 so I never needed to do this.
