My god! I have a Bosch Series 8 dryer that has started not drying clothes very good and I was thinking of cleaning the “self cleaning” (lol) condenser. But after watching that… faaaark that! What a hassle! 😳 I think I might pay someone! Ha!
I also did this myself and now it works as it’s new, you don’t need to disassamble it this much just took off the condensers plastic lid thingy and clean it using a brush and hairdryer thats it
I have followed this video and cleaned my dryer - however - it still does not dry as good as it should. Any more suggestions? The clothes are left half wet and the program ends too early. Is it the moisture sensor, can it be replaced? Thank you for this video though, it was very helpful! It took me about 6 hours total to clean it. Next time will be faster.
Need more info, how long does the program run, its there needet temperature , touch from the back when its working abaut half hour , need to be good warm. Inside if you can measure the temperature, it should be around 50 degrees. And chek its there water up in container , if pump does not work fine will end the program sooner.
@@mmwhitetech the duration of program is more or less normal, perhaps a little shorter, like 1.5h instead of 2h. It gets well warm, the bathroom heats up. There is water in the container too, but perhaps not very much, 1/3 volume after one cycle. So maybe it's the water pump?
@@adriand1374 is it not possible to open it up, add refrigerant, weld it back together? I doubt there will be any valves for that... I know someone who works daily on refrigerant piping on large HVAC systems.
@@mmwhitetech I got a new heat pump Bosch dryer (Series 8), didn't choose to put the hose accessory on. Did one cycle, dried clothes well, but no water in the condenser tray. Is this normal? Is it the technology?

😂
The estimate for just cleaning it was 200-300 EUR and one week without the unit... so I did it myself. Took 6 hours and wasn't so bad.

@ardaarcher3704 yes its ok, just sometimes under condensers its to much dyrt in water container and stops the pump …

@appimaeitea i think its not the pump , you can check this , do not empty after usage , let it to see if be full after 2-3 times run.
@@appimaeitea low on refrigerant. condenser not cold enough to create much water . just a lot of hot wet air going round and round. unrepairable junk

I used this once and there's no water in the water tray? wtf? (no hose connected to drains)
Just dint understand you, need to be there a water pump before any hose for draining.

Yes , its just 1 cycle, make 1- 2 more and will be water in tray.
@@mmwhitetech Cheers mate, that's a great relief.
@@mmwhitetech Thanks heaps for your help 👍
