Nice job disabling comments on your linseed oil fire video. Lying sack of shyt. Where are both camera angles every time the fires start? Seems mighty convenient to leave them out. Love the videos. One thing I’ve noticed is no dust masks while sanding or cutting. I know a lot of folks look up to you so modeling long term safety would be extra great.
To glue together a wide board like a tabletop, I always try to alternate the growth rings on consecutive planks for stability. For the legs, instead of gluing together 3 equal size planks, I normally put 2 or 3 narrower pieces in the middle, again for stability as well as material utilization.
since Im alone 99% of the time when building things I use a 2x4 clamp in a vertical orientation on the free end or I use a height adjustable saw horse as a replacement for a second person

very curious, when you glued up the table top boards the first 3, why didnt you use the domino to help with alignment and give it strength? in my head im thinking is that string enough...educate me
Honestly $2300 for that router feels better than $1600 for the domino. The PantoRouter is huge and uses lots of moving parts, and domino feels like it's barely doing anything. Obviously this is because the domino is so good and efficient that it doesn't need to be big, but still. More parts equals more expensiver

Question for anybody who will listen - When I've done large table tops in the past, I used biscuits in every seam for strength. It's a bit of a headache and seeing Jason just glue up on this 9 footer makes me think I'm wasting a lot of time. Does the thickness of this top (1.5") let you get away with glue only? Or did I just pick up an unnecessary habit along the way?
"Build us an 18' table!" "Can I build it on-site? It's not moving anywhere, it'll pretty much be fastened to wherever you want it" "Nope. We still need the space, so you'll have to transport it" "I don't think this is what God meant when He said told the Israelites to carry the cedars up the mountain to build the temple..."
