The most elegant cup holder ever!
Hey Ron
Indeed!
Legend
When Ron Covell compliments your work, you doing something
You know you've done a good job when the Godfather of metal fabrication drops a comment like this. Cheers Ron!
I stayed until the end just to see what ridiculous thing you fitted this too. I was not dissapointed. 😂😂😂
P.s that rotating table weld was pretty to watch.
Add another one to the greatest hits playlist. Watching your process helps answer a lot of questions I haven’t even thought of to ask yet.
Also, I got TiG Button for Christmas and to anyone debating whether or not to make the investment, do it. You will have no Regrets.
Thanks for feeding us great content.
As an expert of all of humanity I have to say. You are the only youtuber that I have ever seen that have their priorities right. Thanks. Really enjoyed the video. Subscribed.
The first time I’ve ever heard anyone speak on a 6061 video and it’s the best thing said!
Once again, you don’t fail us on weld expertise, and entertainment!!!! Well done Aaron!! I’ve been debating on a TIG button from you. Thanks for the great videos!!
It was a game changer for out of position welding for me. Mainly upside-down roll cage work
Get the button, you will not regret it
I picked one up about a month or so ago; wish I'd done it sooner, and I don't even weld in awkward positions!
I have a hard time since I’m older to coordinate the foot pedal with my welding. I have to sit while I weld, so the foot pedal takes a front seat to what I’m welding, and sometimes it’s an inconvenience.
I use a tig button every day at work. Worth it. Super nice.
Hands down one of your best videos yet
I love the trick of not trying to close the gap on initial tack. Gotta remember that one for my next aluminum job
You sure you ain't a robot? How do you keep your hands from shaking? Badass work as usual.
Please can we have a trailer worksop tour?
Oh hell yeah, can't believe I just now got to this one--new favorite in the sixtysixtyone flavor. Bravo!
What ever we think he should be doing, Aaron is always one step ahead!
Excellent build, I especially liked the first filler tack for the tab. Thanks.
I remember thinking “what ever he’s making is super important and has to be perfect” I was absolutely right
The most impressive part of this is when he peels that plastic in gloves
Just never know what you'll see when you open a 6061 video lol
Called it! =)
Every man needs a nice refreshing beverage, but what perfect companion for a chair like that, than a beer like that...
The damn motorized lazy boy at the end got me 🤣 I’m gonna make one in my lifetime
This is why my wife is mad at me for getting into welding, about $5,000 later and I’m making my own cup holder that I could buy for $25! 🤣🤣🤣💪🔥😎
So good. Your vids are the best mate. Cheers from Australia
Did you notice how the dimes in the second half of the lap joint of the mounting bracket were spaced 1/64th of an inch further apart than the first half…. I can’t believe he would show that to the world 🙈
Very nice 👍🏻 🍻
your cup holder is way more attractive than your motor car - excellent work!
That chair is the most amazing thing I have ever seen.
I’d love to have a tour of that fab trailer. Awesome idea bro.
Your videos definitely are helpful.
Missed your longer format videos
Amazing Video! I really enjoy these
I love these videos so much
Enjoyed the video! Nice work!
I prefer to place a 1/8" diameter dab of torque seal at the edge of the fastener as opposed to a bead across the entire head (as the instructions show). Much more pleasant to look at and still functions as intended
I second this !! At least don’t fill the drive hole of the screw !!
Simplesmente o melhor final de um vídeo sobre solda de todos os tempos!
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Você subiu de nível, de um simples padawan para o cavaleiro Jedi do sofá sinistro.
Abraços do Brasil! 🇧🇷
Nice "welcome back" video!
The ending just killed me😂👍
Absolutely one of my favorite of your videos! When do we get a tour of the big rig?
Gonna be a couple more months probably... Still a work in progress.
Yes another video & always good videos. 👍
🤘SLAYER EVERYDAY 🤘
6061 usted es la definición perfecta de quién es feliz y disfruta su trabajo 🤗
I thought you were making a coffee cup until you milled those drain holes in the bottom. Very nice cup holder
Always a pleasure to watch your video's. Gotta get me a recliner like that! Nice cup holder too....👍
Thanks for sharing machine settings this time 😀
Cool fitup at 4:56 where you closed that gap while arcing the torch to melt the bridge
Nice work (as always). Im totally lost with the green stuff on the screws...
Nevermind, just looked it up. We use paint markers instead
Part of me feels like I got trolled, but I'm definitely appreciate of the video.
👍Awesome job as usual 👌
Marking the screws was a nice touch.
Wow! The whole room goes up and down during bending!
I don't always fab a cup holder, but when I do, I make sure it is secure with torque-stripe.
Excellent !
love this guy
You be nutz!!!
Keep it up, bud!!!
Your Pal, Gary
Yes make another beer 🍺 run...
Skillbilly living. Gotta love it.
Whenever I put my TIG torch over my legs, it usually burns though my pants, and I get a burn mark in my calf.
But I guess with training I can manage my pain 😂
Thanks for the video, and nice to show the rotary welding with the first few attempts !
This and I would like to add that whenever I don't wear long sleeves I get mad sunburn. Would like to see a comment answering how he does both things this way
@D C
-Turn torch away from leg
-Don't weld too long unsleeved if you are using high amperage. Put sleeves on or use sunblock.
His next project will be a tool holder to just drop it into.
Well I guessed wrong, like to know what kind of engine and exhaust is on that buggt, thanks for the video, always enjoy them🤗😎🤗😎
Hose clamp on that compass... someone else has discovered the disturbing lack of compasses that can hold a sharpie.
Overbuilding like a Boss
Que buen final!!!
The ending was golden 🤣🤣🤣
Love it.
Awesome!
Thannk's for the video!
just amazing :D
Well done, thanks for sharing!
have a lil peek at the warning label on that witness seal tube.
Hey I guessed right! Nice cup holder!
wow..... just wow!
The chair killed me😂😂
Great one!
Can you please share your knowledge about TIG tacking aluminum? 🙏
A lot of times you tack weld it without any filler rod... which aluminum alloys are good (or not) for it and what setting do you use for tacking?
Thanks s lot! ✊
If you pay attention he showed the trick he put a dab on the one side when he held it together he blended that dab in.
Legend!!
Just Great. 😎
What spray did you use to clean the aluminium at the end ?
Well, this was the absolute daymaker man, Muchas Freakin Grassyass!!!! Please, listen to what Billy Idol says, and give us More, More, More. It doesnt have to be in the midnight hour or anything.
Super! 🖐️ 😀 👍
I’m convinced the gloves and face shield gag are a ruse to hide the fact that he’s an android. Damned fine dimes!
Hi Sir I Am New Subscriber.
Perfecto 👍
Hello,
You could have made a heart for Valentine's Day!
Awesome.. all you need now is a telescope and mount to check out those dark skies!!
I said to my self, surly it cannot be a cup holder. Damn nice one too!
Yes! Beer holder!
Hello, what kind of Pen do you use?
Have you a link for me, Thank you .
Just noticed you’re a left hello brethren!
kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk the best
Why was you putting the green stuff over the boat or not
Genial 😁😁😁
What is the green stuff on the screw
Nice work
Wasabi
is your shop a refer trailer?
I saw a baseball hat brim - I call shenanigans.
Never guessed that
Im sure your reasoning makes sense but why didn't you just buy a piece of pipe? Is it like some weird dimension or what?
That was a happy end. You just get dirt in your cup🤣
whats that green stuff? some kinda screw locker?
amzn.to/3JscFpD
It's used so you can tell if fasteners are staying tight by a quick visual inspection. It's used a lot in aviation on critical fasteners that can't be loose. It's all over the place on helicopters.
whats the green slime for?
Muahahaha!🤣🤣 I love just the sound don't know but reminds me Snoopy in Charly Brown
What’s the green stuff?
The Stig of Tig.
Is tig welding easier than mig? Seems like u have more control with tig
TIG gives you variability on-the-fly unlike any other way of doing it.
i thought fusion welding aluminum was a no go? ive always heard it cracks if no filler is added
Depends on the type of aluminum and how strong it needs to be.
@ 14:07 ROFL... Well it's NOT my 1st guess now...
That being a Coffee Mug...
