Thanks for making this video, I didn’t known ProGrade had released their reader but like you I’m hoping their cards follow soon as well. Some cheaper media would be much appreciated!
@@YourStoryStudios I've got some ProGrade V90 cards at the moment for my Sony cameras and they've been great. Here's hoping their CFexpress-A cards will be reliable as well!
Great video, interesting topic! Yeah can't wait for ProGrade or other 3rd party manufactures to create CFExpress Type A Cards so that we don't need to spend an arm and a leg for more!
You get what you paid for I only buy sony made memory cards and reader's for my production company remember sony manufacturers there own high quality ram memory chips for video production specifications so you are really getting what you paid for with sony although expensive 😊
1:08 I'm having trouble connecting the FX6 to my Mac Pro to transfer files, and I cannot find help on this process. Any advice? Thanks for your videos :)
How about those dongle and hub like the on you connect to your Mac? For general user eho just need to import files from SD card sometime, do they need card reader at all?
Hi, thanks to share your interesting video. I have just bought the Prograde reader for CFexpress Type B and SD cards. I don't know if it's faulty. I can eject the SD card only with "Safely Removal", but I can't eject the CFexpress Type B card. I always have to remove the CFexpress Type B card forcibly. Can you tell me how I can solve this problem? I use Windows 10. Otherwise I have to send it back. Thanks,
Newer Sandisk/Samsung UHS-I cards can do 150-200 MB/s read speed, but needs a special reader. Most reader can't atm. Can you confirm if this ProGrade is able to? (note I'm not talking about UHS-II but UHS-I)
Dude, I’m loving the videos. Please don’t stop 🙂
I’m running 2x FX3 currently and am loving your content!
Thanks for watching! I’ll be making more videos when the Melbourne lockdown finishes 👍

As long as the media is reliable, I’m happy to buy cheaper media!

@@njrtech I thank you so much. What it means type A and type B?
Type A and Type B are two different types of cards. Type A are found in Sony cameras, Type B can be found in some Canon and Panasonic cameras.

Good things come to those who wait!
Top 👍🏻 I will order the proGrade reader for my Fx6 footage and my type A cards
Thanks for watching!
sounds sweet love that it has mounting options, can’t wait for a cheaper card to come out to try that 120 s&q options
Hopefully they end up being reliable and reasonably priced 👍
how is the reliability? worried the card will fail, go wrong etc
Can’t wait for some cheaper off brand cfexpress cards! I got 4 of the Sony ones and they are sooo expensive!
Hopefully ProGrade bring some reliable cards out soon that don’t break the bank!

I'm not sure sorry! Haven't used that card reader.

Czy do nikon Z9 te karty są kompatybilne?
Anyone know if there’s a safe way to remove the magnet on that thing?
I use r5 mainly which prograde one is suitable for me. and in the bottom it has magnet so I keep them behind my monitor without any extra attachments.
It seems like a helpful solution for some people! Thanks for watching 👍
