My wife asked me what important thing I had to do this morning and I answered her... I have to watch a video of my friend Mike assembling a CT70 😆👏👏👏 I really liked it Mike, nice job 👌
Yeah, I wish I had got into it long ago. Now locally, everyone wants an arm and a leg for the smallest of parts. I may have to take a trip down to California in the spring time for the Pomona Swap Meet.
I had a Dax ST50 when i was 13 ish . my first bike i restored and used for years. now im 60 and got me another 1974 but parts are hard to get here in Norway, i used to buy honda and yamaha parts from USA at ebay and webshops until 2016 but then the freight skyrocket, don`t know but i blame Grump, we can not even buy a T-shirt from USA anymore .like 25-30 dollar shipping on a 11 dollar item, and this is Norway
Absolutely fantastic video Mike. You have an amazingly organized tool and spare parts system there. Let us know what the Ω ohms readings are on all those stators. That can confirm which ones are bad! Then we can know how to check ours if we suspect a bad one. Thanks again for the great videos.
All i need to do is replace a couple gaskets, a brake pad, and a brake cable and mine will be hunky dory hopefully this video will motivate me off my butt.
Hey Mike, thanks for the vids. Can you tell me the purpose of the keyed lock just in front of the ignition switch up by the steering and front shocks? I bought a lifan clone and it has this with a little metal cover that slides over it.
@@snakepit101 It’s a steering lock. With the handle bars in just the correct position, a hole on the steering stem lines up with that keyed lock. Inserting the key and turning it pushes a pin into the hole and prevents handle bars from being turned.
Mike, can you make a video on how to repair broken knob bolt in the handlebar or fix it so the handlebar be used? There is no videos on RUclips about it.
Hey Mike! I’m looking for a ct70 tbone and thought I might see if you had any leads bc I’m doing a build right now that I just found I can’t get a tag for😟😭

I'm sure you've gotten this question a million times, but how much would you sell a bike like this for? I see you have quite a few bikes, so I'm sure you can't keep them all! 🤣
I don’t keep all of them. I collected and stored a few hundred of them since 1992. As I finish a bike, I sell it on this channel. I think I sold this bike for $1100.
That's wonderful! My brother had one of the first CT70's when I was 8 years old back in 69. Thanks for bringing back all the great memories! @@MiniBikeMike

Very impressive to have that many spares, and the knowledge to do a build from the ground up. Great job!
Thanks. I’ve been hoarding parts and building little Hondas for a very long time.

@@kendexter Thanks for watching! Bummer on the expensive shipping. Government seems to always want to stick their fingers into things and mess it up.
Hey my old frame. Glad to see it lives on! Great video
Thanks!

Good job brother thanks for sharing.
The scissors jack for a Honda civic car, placed between the bent in handlebars, will push them back apart.
Great job mike, yep I knew you could do it. Great little cruiser there. Hey it’s something to cruise around on, I like it. Super build as always.

Looks awesome
Thanks!
That was fast!!
It goes pretty quick when you don’t take the time to clean up any parts. 😂
Love the channel and Awesome garage
Thanks!
Raining in Maryland too, sir
I’m over it, c’mon summer. It’s suppose to rain all day tomorrow also.

Too funny. I actually made that video a couple days ago and was saving it for future posting. Give me a couple days and I’ll post it up.

I’m trying to buy a Lifan 140cc but some people told me that they don’t fit all Ct70.
Does it fit all the frames?
All CT70 frames are the same bolt pattern. Yes, it will fit.
I would love to find a Honda ct70 for sale
I’ve got a red K0 with title for $2200.
