I’ve owned every major brand of air compressor possible, over the past 30 years. For the past 20 years, most have been hooked to my CNC plasma table. This Quincy is hands down the best compressor I’ve ever owned.
Ive a 71 pretty clean runs fine 3rd owner clean title 2974 original miles. Was well maintained only paid 750 for it in 2008. They have gone up in price. Good to know thanks
Wish these bikes were that cheap in the UK saw one in similar condition with bits missing went for over £1000 missed out on a scruffy lady dax the other week just as scruffy but running £1400
Grande Mike, la querida CT70 volvió a tomar vida, ahora a disfrutarla por las calles. Siempre me han gustado estos modelos aquí en Argentina solo entraron las de 3 Velocidades hermoso color red candy salu2
I have a guy in my small town bringing my 1977 back to life! It's looking so great! Excited that I may be able to get my dad's K0 back to life too. Love the memories of these as a kid!
@@MiniBikeMike Honda might have made 4 different keys for all of their bikes. They did that with their cars into the 90's. I would save that switch, and test it.
On the cable lubing, I really like antifreeze in them. It’s greasy and actually lubes the cable instead of taking the oil and lube out like wd40 does. An old guy at a tractor place told us that trick years ago. Imagine that, an old guy being right. Haha
The engine is generally the least of my concerns. If it didn’t turn over, I would have thrown a Lifan 125 in it and made a fun little scoot. This bike went to Missouri and new owner has cleaned it up. It looks fantastic.
Great to see them kick over the first time :) I'm with you not a fan of the "cruise control". Do you have a throttle you suggest to swap out on these? I'm going to swap mine over... hate how the stock one sticks no matter what I do.
I use this one: Royitay Throttle Cable 7/8" 22mm Handlebar Grip Throttle Cable Kill Switch Set For 49cc to 80cc Engine Parts Motorized Bicycle Push Bike a.co/d/92rrCjE
Mike, twice now I have had to pull cylinder head and barrel on my '70 KO ct as it wants to leak oil (when oil is hot) from the left lower corner where the barrel meets the case. I doubled the gasket at the case per CHP advice, orings are correct, head torqued properly along with correct nut/washer arrangement for head torque, cannot figure out why I am leaking oil here. Any ideas? Thanks so much!
@@warmblood58 I would double check for a leak somewhere else, that is running down to that spot. Also check for a crack in cylinder. If you’re positive it’s coming from that spot, there has to be an issue with the sealing surface.
Congrats on 3k subs. Does the speedo work? Also, do you think there is an air leak by the throttle cap? You mentioned that in the video. Can you show that a little closer? I may have a leak there too
Thanks! No, the speedo cable was broke. It’s been replaced with a good used one. The sealing washer in the carb cap was mangled. I sprayed some starter fluid in that area while it was running and didn’t notice any difference, so I’m not sure that it’s leaking. More testing to come…..
So satisfying! Im from Germany , born 1970, grew up with those.
Go on with the goodies and take care, LG Marcus
Thanks!
August the 4th my birthday 🎉. Awesome videos I absolutely love your videos
Thanks!
About 25 kicks. Not bad. LOL. But she runs. Awesome
Nice one Mike👍
Thanks
I like your Quincy compressor!

@@MiniBikeMike yep. My great great uncle invented and patented the Quincy compressor design in the late 30s
Thanks again for the content
Thanks for watching!
super cool ! Great video Mike ! Now I am going to try and get my 1970 CT 70 running !
👍🏻
My first bike was a twin to that one , a little red CT-70 many great memories there!
They certainly are a great little bike!
Great job bringing that one back to life. Always like seeing them come to life after years of being silent.
Thanks Mike!

Thank you for your hardwork Sir Mike!. And congratulats it works ❤️
Thanks!
I know this is a year old, but dang GREAT job.
Thanks!
Just picked up 3 CT90s that has not been cranked in over 30 years for $100.00
@@charlesrainey6830 Sounds like you have some projects to work on. 👍🏻
looks un-touched you cant ask for a better find than that... great price too
I picked one up today, $100! Red too, your videos are awesome and very helpful.
Thanks!
Would you have a a link to the correct clutch basket nut socket for these little 125 lifan engines?
Sorry, I do not. I don’t even own one. It’s very seldom that I actually work on engines.
Wow awesome video,👍
Thanks
Great video!
Thanks!
I doubt that Honda made many different keys. You might find a key from one of your other bikes will work.
New switch worked great. Bike went to its new home.

🛑🛑 I enjoyed that Mike. 💯
Nice “methodical” trouble shooting. 😀👍
Thanks!
Wow that's a big table congratulations.. I wonder if you could do two bikes at once on that? Back wheel to back wheel?
It’s the same size as my other table, and yes, I’ve had two bikes at one time on it.

Hi Mike... I've been waiting for this video since the moment you got it 😆👌
I admire your dedication 👏👏👏
Thanks Mario!
Una joya, que hermosas son las versiones CT
Loving it Mike
Thanks!
👍
Grat stuff, Mike. I loved this. Glad to see it runs!
Thanks Mark! Loved seeing you and the family last week.
Great to see another one come back to life !!!! Nice job Mike...
Thank you!
I was wondering how many miles it has, sir
I think I showed the odometer in the video of the day I picked it up. I’m away from the bike now, but memory says around 3300 miles.
How many miles were on the clock?
That video is over a year old, don’t remember. The bike went to a subscriber in Missouri.
Congrats on getting 3000 guys that like small Honda's and not Harley's! LOL!
