ok
wth anyways thx
This movie is stupid, the Legion of Doom could have killed the entire Justice League but they just didn't want to finish the job.
Bane could just smash Bruce Wayne's skull instead of burying him, Superman could have died for a second shot to the head, the Nanite bots could just shut down Wonder Woman neuro network, the boom could just go off immediately after sticking to the Flash, They could just kill Martian Manhunter when he was burning.

Yeah, that was kinda fire. I mean... very nice
Not just bystanders, but his co workers that never knew of his secret identity, they immidietly helped him instead of hating him that he was THE Martian Manhunter the whole time, like tons of other crappy super hero identity revealed and then broke their relationship. That's true friendship.

Not just that but that lady was into him. Hopefully this debacle wasnt a turnoff
I like how Batman says his contingency plan for himself was the justice league stopping him but in reality it was "He's still depressed about his dead parents just bring them up and he'll get real sad"
Also putting innocents, or especially the batfam (dick, jason, tim, babs, alfred) in harms way to compel Batman to prioritise their safety over his own.
He does add "Think *CAREFULLY* before you do this" 😂
@@cowpolk5763 that and failsafe
Batmans contingency is basically "force me to sacrifice myself for the lives of others".
It makes a lot of sense though, he is entirely willing to die so long as he knows those he cares about are safe (and/or ready to fight on without him), its kinda the whole idea behind the knightfall protocol
That’s a terrible plan when he has plans to easily stop them
@SuperSilver759 I think he also had The Bat-Family & some kinda mech(forgot the name) but I’m pretty sure it activated in the event that he goes rogue.
I think it's safe to say Martian Man-hunter got the worse of it: Hal was broken mentally, Diana was choosing to keep fighting instead of analyzing the situation, Superman was in a coma before death, Flash had to keep running and Bruce wasn't gonna break from being buried like that. while John had to endure the worse pain possible for his species without any way to stop it.
Worst pain possible for ANY species
Bruce didn't catalog a contingency plan for himself, so Vandal Savage had to invent one based on his knowledge of Bruce Wayne. Vandal assumed that Bruce would simply crack from the psychological attack and suffocate in the coffin. Bane even didn't plan for him to escape, and that's because they underestimated Batman's resolve.

In the comics, the plans were even worse: WW and MM's contingencies were the same, Flash was hit with a chip that would make him constantly vibrate, Green Lantern was turned blind and Superman was affected by a kryptonite variant that made his skin transparent.
Yikes
You're kinda underselling how painful Superman's was.
Superman gets his powers thanks to the sun. But the transparent skin amplified his senses to an insane degree that just about every pin drop could arguably sound like a thousand chalkboards being scratched all at once

Its crazy how batman actually has more than one contingency too. Like he once convinced Hal Jordan to walk into a room that was painted yellow (which he was weak to at the time) and had himself and robin painted yellow. To be fair Batman and Green Arrow are extremely skilled humans. No powers, just gadgets. To stop them all you need is to surprise them.

6:38 One of my favorite things about this movie is how, before the reveal, this is such a *perfect* Superman scene. Less super, more man. We don't get enough of that, I think. Writers always want home to be "going through something" when sometimes, the point of his character is to get people through something
That scene describes him, perfectly... A Symbol of Hope
@@awesomerandomclips01 Right?! They keep trying to write him as Spider-Man, i.e. Great Power/Responsibility. He has that side, but always to the end goal of inspiration, because his power isn't just great, it's Absurd Power, Absurd Responsibility
Edit: I'm guessing you also like his scene in Young Justice where he's mourning Superboy? Because that scene instantly became one of my all-time favorites
Exactly, Superman is very human even though he is technically an alien. He could've snatched the gun away in the blink of an eye or grabbed the guy and delivered him to the ground before he could even react. Instead, he engages in dialogue with him and tries to empathize with the guy.
Yknow since these are plans to stop a mind controlled Justice League / or people with similar powers as them then Batman could have easily justified his actions by saying that the plans were for villains
Superman - General Zod
Flash - Reverse Flash
Green Lantern - Sinestro
Martian Manhunter - Maalefaak
Wonder Woman - Cheetah

@@awesomerandomclips01 uh huh, he doesn't trust anyone
I don’t think Green Lantern’s plan can be justified for Sinestro though.
One detail I like about Superman getting shot is just the fact he didn't try to stop the bullet, he's so used to bullets bouncing off of him that he has no instinct to try and stop them or move out of the way, so technically the reason he was injured was because he thought he was invincible when I'm fact he wasn't.
“Hold on, J’onn!” These are the best citizens in all of the DCU.

@@_D_-N-_A he literally asked how far he was from an iceberg, flash thought up the rest
I mean, being burn alive and not being able to douse the fire out or getting shot right near the heart by a poison bullet that caused you to be in a coma would make them being sane or able enough to think of how to save themselves.
WW part have no excuses though since it's easy to realize that something is wrong.
To put things into perspective as well, theoretically the reason these plans failed was cause they were reconfigured to be fatal when Batman's intent was incapacitation and containment.
Meaning these aren't even the plans that Batman made to *kill*

Love how they couldn’t think of a weakness for lantern so they just made him sad (yes Ik the comics made him blind but there’s def alien tech he could use on OA to get that back)
Because before his weakness was the color yellow, but they got rid of it because it's a stupid weakness, so now he has none.
It was a hilarious weakness, XD
“But if you’re going to stop a mugging and the guy’s wearing all yellow, what’re you gonna do?”
“Fuck you, Bruce”
Nah there's another weakness he has
It's when u make him unable to think straight
Then he can't think properly so he's unable to create objects with his ring
I think it was meant to make him lose his will, since that is what makes a green lantern strong
Green lanterns are powered by sheer willpower, damage, break, destroy that will, and they are powerless.
Sadness leads to fear, fearing his ability to help people, fearing he would fail again, fear is the polar opposite of willpower, so when he's in fear, he no longer has the will to fight.
(Ironically its the utilization of both that made batman even create these plans, he fears the damage the justice league can do, he's willing to stop it if he has to, even himself)
5:21 "I do have a plan, It's called the justice league."
this is kind of funny, because if batman does get rogue, you can just watch the first arc of this movie. His "plan", the justice league, would be obliterated.
If they ganged up on him, he wouldn't be able to handle them
THis is true. However, in the comics, his actual contingency plan for himself (if I'm remembering it right) is a dose of fear toxin and a psychological torture scenario about his parent's deaths. The fear toxin weakens his mental state to lower his mental defenses, and then the material about his parents puts him into a psychological spin that at minimum, will open him up to being weaker in combat, and not thinking clearly, and at most, will put him into shock. There's an animated movie where Bane does it, I believe. I don't think it's this one, but I haven't seen it in a while so I'm not sure.
@@deadman3824 it is this movie. I didn't include it because in the movie they claim it wasn't his plan... And I kinda like the "It's called the Justice League" part way better
He has multiple contingency plans and most of his plans rely on some of the justice league being on his side to work. Although if we're being honest all he'd really need is for the flash to grab his belt, and superman to fly him up into the atmosphere so he passes out from lack of oxygen then bring him back and keep him locked up until he's seeing reason again.
Or just call Alfred and watch him buckle under that withering look and a "I'm very disappointed in you master Bruce."
But yeah it's silly to think he'd take on the entire justice league and win without help or a lot of prep time. Especially since he doesn't even murder people
In recent comics, it was revealed that Batman had his alternate personality create a robot capable of taking him down, called Failsafe, should he ever go rogue.
The robot was so op that not only he anticipated everything Batman would do, he took down the Justice League and nearly killed Superman

Batman: i do have a plan. It's called being a human. Anything that can kill one is able to be used if it's coming down to that scenario.
The one against Superman was quite effective. I’ve always been team “Get Superman to walk into a room and then have a goon stab him to death with a kryptonite knife that you hid in a lead sheath” but that was far more thematic
The fact that he could barely realize that there was a full on cyborg right in front of him. Is Metallo entirely made of lead??

Is it just me, or does Martian Manhunter get set on fire in _every_ animation he's in? Guy just can't catch a break.
Lol, I saw him sizzling in The Death of Superman as well
Honestly bats contingency for himself is kinda weak, he’s demonstrated he has a strong chance against the league by himself, but it’s also the best option, if he had a weakness more exploitable they could use it against him if they turned bad
To be clear. The problem isn’t that Batman made the plans, the problem isn’t that he didn’t tell them every minor detail. The problem is that he didn’t even suggest it, nor did he warn the league when the plans were stolen. When you’re an adult in a group project, communication is crucial you can’t just hide information because you think you know better.
Batman in this instance is responsible for the near dismantling of the league. The fact that people are defending him as though he were a misunderstood genius and not an actual hazard for the team is baffling to me. Had he at least told them during a previous meeting “Hey we seem to get possessed at an alarming rate. I’m gonna make contingency plans so we don’t have such a hard time”. I would be on his side.
I like how when people get to close to Martian Manhunter he pushes them away so that way, they don’t get set on fire. Even when he is at stake of dying, he keeps others safe from the danger.
...I am sorry, which part am I not meant to be shocked about? The part where Wonder Woman can't tell the difference between a metal cybernetic arm and a flesh and blood one covered in fur, something you can tell through tactile senses, not auditory or visual senses, or the fact she would casually rip off an opponent's flesh and blood arm and just assume some medical attention would be fine and dandy?
JL:Doom really did make WW look like an oblivious brute. Even when we looked through her perspective, all the other "Cheetahs" were just standing around making random comments until WW just went in swinging, Cheetah didn't even change what they said, just what they sounded like.
She was running on pure instinct, so she wasn't thinking clearly, it was her warrior's spirit what was keeping her going. Also she has faced shapeshifters, magicians and warlocks she might had assumed Cheetah got a magical artifact that allowed to be everywhere
@@djpegao I would agree if she went in swinging as soon as she saw a Cheetah, but she didn't. Diana stood there for multiple seconds, listening to them act surprised seeing her and one even calling her hot. If she couldn't tell something was a bit weird with all these non-hostile cheetahs just standing around talking, that is entirely on her not thinking. Especially if she thought she was poisoned, she knows hallucinogenics exist.
She was hallucinating. Hallucinations trigger the same parts of your brain that control dreaming. Except in rare cases of lucid dreaming, when you dream you just go with whatever you think you're perceiving. Likewise, people who suffer from hallucinations have a very hard time comprehending it's all in their head.
@@Regfife Hallucinations can be caused by those parts of your brain being triggered while being awake. That scenario and what WW is experiencing are 2 different things. The nanites are not causing a generic hallucination, they are hijacking WW's auditory and visual centers to make her believe everyone around her looks and sounds like Cheetah. Her brain is still running as if she were awake. Unless Cyborg or Batman brought up her being drugged like how GL was, her reasoning was not impaired.

Y'know, everyone talks about how brilliant Batman is and how devastating his plans are, but half of the contingencies can be described as "take this rare technology that probably has countless humanity-helping properties and use it to make a magic ray gun designed to disable a single superhero." It feels like it's just be more efficient to stockpile magic lamps and just summon genies or something.
And yes, yes, Batman doesn't trust magic enough to use it like that. So instead he uses bizarre technology that likely can't be fully tested in the field without giving away the plan. But it'd suck if, for example, he injected Wonder Woman with nanites made of some exotic material and because it's existed for all of two years nobody knows Amazons are deathly allergic to it.
I'm not saying the contingencies are even bad. But they're a little less impressive when he probably prepares them by sending a memo to one of his company's labs that reads "Make me a super-science potion specifically designed to knock out speedsters named Barry Allen, and don't ask why."
The only one this actually applies to is wonder woman. We know kryptonite has basically no special function (that other already existing materials cannot be a substitute for) besides being superman's weakness, this time it was just used in tandem with GUN. Flash's contingency is only a bit more advanced than a bomb linked to a speedometer. People have known how to make fires that burn underwater for ages. Green lantern was attacked with the Big Sad. This does apply slightly better in the comics, with flash's specifically also being pretty sci-fi, but even then GL's contingency is using post-hypnotic suggestion to make the person with the weapon that turns thoughts into reality think he's blind.
@@bigbigbig42 in the comics green lantern practically become brain dead, to some extent. But this one feels more like its a way to take care of the threat, and not the person wearing the threat. As the lanterns power is only boosted/works due to sheer will, and him getting the big sad dealt with his sheer will.
@@quandaledingle3515 The Big Sad was effective, yes, it's just that it's funny to call it the Big Sad.
@@bigbigbig42 Right, I should be clear that I meant that my criticism applies a little more to the comics version. But even still, if Batman explained to me "Okay, so I hypnotize Green Lantern in his sleep just in case he goes bad, so I can use a post-hypnotic suggestion on him later and make him blind so he can't use his ring," my first reaction would absolutely be a sarcastic "Oh, is that all."
And yeah, making fire burn underwater is a common party trick. But covering someone with nanites that convert the outer layer of their skin into magnesium is a little more involved. Or making a super-science bullet that will give the Flash special seizures. (And the contingency for Aquaman in in the comics really is "poison him with a super-science anti-Aquaman toxin.")
@@MythicFox when it comes to making toxins and special metals and most technologies batman can just make it himself, he only relies on lucius for the more advanced technology, vehicles, etc

awesome video!
I'm just gonna put this out, after watching (supes get put down easily in the comics) The Boys and also reading and watching Invincible, i think Batman's plans are pretty justified.
What if the real anti-Batman contingency plan Superman was looking for is the friends that Batman made along the way 😃
That’s basically what he said 😂 my friends will stop me
Wonder Woman: I need to develop a powerful neurotoxin that envelops Diana in an aggressive state
Green Lantern: I have to convince him through elaborate planning that he is no longer worthy of the ring, crushing his willpower
Superman: green rock
Flash: I’ll devise an elaborate trap that bolts a speed-sensitive bomb inside the molecules of his body
Superman: *Takes off glasses*
Person: Oh shit! It's superman!
Superman: Oh fuck..*Puts glasses back on.*
Person: Oh, false alarm.
On one hand, the JL being his own contingency plan makes sense, but at the same time, if he went rogue or brainwashed (like they all do every other Sunday) then the evil version of him would just turn the contingencies against them. He needs a contingency to the contingency to PREVENT him from doing so.
there is one, FAILSAFE.
I'm sure he has one. But he can't tell them or they could use it against him. Or something lol.
What I find interesting is that a long long while back there were these monthly Lego magazines that had lego comics for different series and one of them was one where the almost all the Justice League was captured and a lot of what was done here is what happened to them.
“I’m still burning!!” That soundbite has meme potential
These are way better than the movies. I never knew.
WW's part is not believable though. Given her experience in combating Cheetah, most of those people that she beat up probably died.
Maybe broken bones, but these are grown adults. I'm sure they can survive a punch.
@@beyondtrash1627not from WW😂😂bro she pulled a WHOLE tree out the ground and tossed it like a frisbee at a bunch of people. They def got internal bleeding and maybe some brain damage
*on fire jumps in the water* “IM STILL BURNING!!!” 😂😂
In the comics and classic audio file, Batman mentions using Scarecrow's Fear Gas to make Hal believe that he was blind, thus the ring itself making him blind by his own force of will. I presume that the Fear Gas was still used in the movie, just for a different purpose?
Not in this one, but it would've been great
The best contingency Batman knew was how to get flash out of that bracelet. Even the antagonists forget to see that.
He knew how to get them all out
Superman: "You're still so arrogant you didn't bother to come up with a plan to stop yourself?"
Batman: "Bro I'm literally just a guy. You'll figure it out."
Green Lantern's weakness was literally his ego lmao
I'm still positive the best (not letal) way to stop BATMAN is to just break his hands.
He mostly do everything with those.
With no tools and no way to pilot his veicles he can just dodge so many times before to eventually get defeated.
I never get why when Superman is forced to fight him is always "I'm sorry, I have to keep punching you to make you inoffensive. Give up, or you'd die".
Just break his hands. I'm a big fan of the guy, but he's still human.
...
This is a bit out of topic, but it was to explain that sometime the best Contingency Plans don't have to be that complicated.
Go for his feet too and that's half the bones in the human body.
@@Amo-v27
That will do too. See? No need for over complicated plans or psicologic weakness.
Remember that bootleg Batman from Invincible who didn’t have contingency plans?
LOL, he probably regretted it when his thoughts were being spilt on the floor
Even though it's animated and he survived, MM burning alive was freaking horrifying
so sweet that people in the bar tried to help J'onn
Actually if you could modify Martian manhunters contingency it would probably work on most of the justice league. Save for maybe superman and possibly wonder woman
I think these were the non lethal contingencies designed to temporarily incapacitate. If you set the others like flash or gl on fire you might just kill them
It is one of the best justice league movie
Ooooh i never notice Ma'alefa'ak
I know him for Young Justice only
It's like that other justice league film or series where that one time batman hacked cyborgs mainframe and Co trolled him... Shows he's always 2 steps ahead
Why do a lot of these require the hero to act..heroic? Aren't they supposed to be used if the hero goes evil?
I think that's because the villains are the ones that got the plans... The heroes are still good, so they had to tweak their plans to fit the situation.
I think everyone would have worked but the GL one. There are other ways to get the plans executed. WM would certainly start fighting when attacked, you can always shoot SM, getting the bomb on Flash is also possible and MMH wasn't doing anything heroic anyways
The thing with Batman's contingencies and why the justice league as a failsafe for himself doesn't work is because he just showed that he's essentially always 10 steps ahead. All of his contingencies worked flawlessly. Only Flash and Wonder Woman managed to get out safe, and even then, they both got really lucky. Flash had Batman's help, and Wonder Woman was lucky enough to run into cyborg. If Ra's was able to take down the entire justice league simultaneously with those contingencies, what could they possibly do to batman?
And then the Failsafe comic came out. Batman's new anti-justice league contingency after the old ones were used. And this time built to be Batman's failsafe as well
If they all jump him, It doesn't matter how much he prepared. He's getting those hands👊💥
@@awesomerandomclips01 not with the way he's typically written. Too many times has batman bested multiple members of the league just because he's batman. Or you know "prep time"
@@calebrichardson5259 Prep time is the ultimate super power🤣
I have to shine a light here... it cracked me up how we see all these Bat-based plans incapacitate everybody one by one, and then it cuts to the Bat himself saying "no defense and I'll do it again"... SAVAGE
"Dead grandma" Mirror Master
You have a guy who can rival Darkseid. A woman who's the daughter of a God. Another who's faster than light, and they gaslight him for having plans to save people that can't match them if they turn rogue... Ok. I'm with batman on this one
I'm with you on that one
Super-man: is faster than a bullet*
Also supes: 7:00
He was trying to save his colleague's life... He didn't expect him to shoot him. Also, Kryptonite bullet. Meaning, he was in close proximity of Kryptonite and his powers went bye-bye
I haven't watched the movie but I'm guessing he thought it would be a regular bullet but when he realized it was kryptonite it was too late.
One thing I don’t like about how this movie plays all the heroes getting taken out because none of the villains actually make sure that they’ve killed any of the heroes mainly just leave them weekend, and then open areas instead of secluding them, and making sure there were snuffed out efficiently If you’re gonna make a plan of executed superhero, you actually have to execute them not celebrate why they’re all getting rescued.
Batman's plan for the flash was the plot of speed
WW is an amazing warrior, to defeat her (by Batman pov) is by letting her fight until she can't becoz she won't give in or give up at all which btw is quiet effective..i imagine it would be so tough n require strength to fight that long altho she is a super hero considering even an average UFC fighter went in an Octagon even just for a min will eat up all your muscle quickly in a fight in just a sec n some barely can used their strength to keep on fightin another round..damn...imagine we get a stamina n durability them in real life..lol
Yeah, Wonder Woman is built different. Even in a fight against doomsday, she wouldn't go down until she was KOed. Check out if you're interested.

So Batmans backup plan to stop himself is the Justice League, but he knows how to defeat all of the Justice League members 🤔
"Not united"🤧
@Awesome Random Clips Yeah, true, it would be a close fight, tho.
He does have a plan actually, you can listen here. Basically he's just human, the best way to defeat him is having hostages and talking about his dead parents

@@omolaraojo2831 That's cool
Love how Batman pretty much says it would take the justice league to take him down
Pretty cocky if you ask me 🙄 Shows how overrated the one guy with no powers is
kinda wish justice league doom got a sequel where batman reunites with his old team, the outsiders (black lightning, metamorpho, kitana, geo force, and halo), and the sequel can be called justice league vs the outsiders.
Expect the contingency plan…Batman prepared for his self is terrible lol
This is how dangerous cheetah is 💯💯💯💯👿😈👿
Superman’s all like “Ahh kryptonite again?!?!?? How much of that stuff is still around? I mean every boss battle I ever have, some asshole has kryptonite! A big chunk of it. And it’s ridiculous because that stuff is supposed to be extremely rare! How much of that damn planet floated over here! I mean isnt that lightyears away?!?!??”
😂😂😂
It's implied by this that Batman helped create the Justice League at least partially to be a contingency plan against himself. Let's see how that worked out in the Batman Who Laughs's universe.
Seriously, this show how dangerous Batman is. 🤩
The most realistic member of the Justice League.
Lol, imagine being his team mate but not having had anything done to you, because you were away on a mission. You find out he was gonna boil you alive indefinitely.... 🤣🤣🤣
Least realistic lol
Batman the most overrated, plot armoured, OP character of all time.
Iron Man makes more sense to me
The twisted version of Superman’s “you’re stronger than you think” from All Star Superman is great
I like how the rest of the justice leagues plans appealed to their weaknesses like superman kryptonite,
Flash deception, MM fire, but green lantern just gets mentally broken. Like literally his weakness is the color yellow you couldn’t have gone with that??
Yellow waa stupid as a weakness and got retconned.
Batman listens and watches
For GOD so loved the world, he gave his only begotten son that whoever shall believe him shall not perish but have everlasting life
?????
Injustice Exists for a Reason why Batman's Contingency Plans are highly secret.
1:16 Now THAT is the People's Elbow...Sheesh😬
I love how everyone at the bar tries to help Martian Manhunter 😭🙏
