Penny for a book of matches had me actually crying
*Batman after jumping out the window*
Damn, I’m good. 😏
Batman on demon time. Sheesh that was cold af
I never thought that batman can still be an absolute badass in his golden age/first appearance suit cuz honestly in his first appearance he was so campy but this proves how batman's character evolved throughout the years and this scene alone proves that he is still a badass despite rocking his campy first appearance suit. Overall, I love the comic and this movie.
Who else thinks MM pissed himself when Bats said all he needed to take him down was a penny for a book of matches?
I love this version of Batman. None of those blades on his gloves, devilish ears to the mask and squinty eyes. THIS is Batman to me.
Kevin Conroy is the GOAT, but this is one the great animated Batman voices.
This Batman voice god damn
Dude deadass threatened to set him on fire even I got scared💀💀💀
This movie is a really good distillation of Cooke's sprawling epic (making the Centre a more, um, central threat was a great choice; as well as having Batman be part of the final battle), but I wouldn't mind seeing a somewhat more faithful adaptation that allows us to spend more time with certain characters who are reduced to cameos here.
damn... that shit at the end was one of he dopest batman flexes i've ever heard
What year is this set in? Looks like the 30s or 40s. Nevermind I remember this movie. I was scared after watching this movie I was only 9 when it came out. It was the darkest movie I've ever watch at the time.
It was set in the early/mid 50's
The guy can read an enter your brain but just got mind fucked by a human - i love scenes like this that explain just HOW serious batman really is
on the flip side, they just downplay the heck out of Martian Manhunter, who when the plot calls for it can be a Justice League level threat by himself

The terror on J'onn face when he mentions the 70k piece of kyrptonite leads me to believe he knows superman is a Kryptonian and that humans are buying and selling the pieces of his dead planet 😨
Wow…. Jeremy Sisto sounds badass as The Caped Crusader, I looked up his résumé and I was surprised to find out that he appeared on Law and Order, I can see why he was hired probably. It’s a shame that he didn’t voice Batman again in a another project.
man i would love to hear him voice Bats again.
@@leechrec Same, he should voice a experienced Bruce Wayne/Batman in a original story or a Elseworlds adaptation.
Batman has some serious grit to even be able to scare the living hell out of martian manhunter.
Batman is a fucking beast.
Justice League New Frontier Batman needs his own solo movie.
You know I actually try imitating this Batman’s voice. I feel people take me more seriously with it
Lol.
Good luck
@@leonardobraynen1524guy is allowed to try
Go for it dude....
I imitate Cal Dodd's voice as Wolverine@@castbet9183
quite possibly my favorite batman dialogue of all time. actual fucking MENACE
1:28 Batman: Hmm
Batman sounding more like the martian than the actual martian...
A good movie. Back in the 50s when a lot of this took place in the comics. 👍
Kryptonite is worth way more, sliver would be priceless.
BatMan- alright alright, 5 finger discount. You happy
Batman Forever!! 🦇🦇🦇🦇
Fuck!! That meteor line was so intimidating and cold🥶🥶
Honestly after that line about superman, number one suspect for batman is lex luthor
When I first watched this I was like HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO MAKE FRIENDS LIKE THIS BATMAN
This went over my head when I was a kid
Batman pretending he doesn't already have an easy to start source of fire on him already in the last scene.
Supes, Martian, WW, Flash will never kill* or use "dirt" tricks, Even Darksied said this about WW and Supes, when Batman threatens him to activate the spores.
except Wonder Woman has killed explicitly in the main comic continuity
plus their "no kill" rule is pretty arbitrary and it changes on how sentient the lifeform in question is and how humanoid etc etc
Both WW and flash have killed before.
The optimist invented the plane. The pesimist, the parachute.
Wasn’t the parachute made before the wright brothers were born?
@@changvasejarik62 I never said they were invented in tandem.
I think the voice of this Batman is decent in my honest opinion.
Seriusly how can batman be so consistently badass in all DC movies and shows
