Batman went through quite a lot of character development throughout the series.When he started out he didn’t trust anyone,but in the end he knows who he trust,that’s why he revealed his true identity to the league in the finale.
You know watching these back-to-back Bruce timm once said he wanted the rest of the Justice League to get more shine when he made this series and he did however even though he was no pun intended out of his League power-wise Batman did a lot of bashing in this series
One thing I never understood was why batman would stop clayface from finding a cure? Something bruce wayne would do is help these criminals cure and rehabilitate themselves. I know he's stealing the cure but if it works, no more clayface. One less nemesis to deal with. Maybe....Batman is....the bad guy!
I don't think Batman should have underpants in animated shows and the comics - For a grounded human character in costume, it just seems goofy to me, and this is why it's never seen in any live-action versions either, unlike for Superman (except for Henry Cavill's version). For mightily superpowered beings like Superman and Martian Manhunter, it works fine, actually adding nice colour contrasts to the costume, but I think Batman should have a costume like Flash and Green Arrow's i.e. no underpants. It also actually feels like the underpants could impede Batman's movement, since he's just a regular guy. This new take goes for Robin as well (Nightwing and Batgirl don't wear underpants).
