      Tommy, I am the other cofounder of Show Me Coasters. We are new to youtubing we are from St. Louis too, and Six Flags STL is our home park also. We are lucky to have 3 parks in our state. I have relative in other states that don't have an amusement park at all. Tommy check our site. We have visited 12 parks Across the nation, just in case you wanted to see What other parks look like with our tour videos: Cedar Point, Kings Island, Worlds of Fun, SF Stl, Sf Great America, SF Fiesta, SF over Texas, SF over Georgia, SF America(DC), Sf Great Adventure, And of course Silver Dollar City.

      tee sonethongkham awesome! I will definitely check out. I hope we get a coaster soon. I definitely wanna go on a coaster road trip myself. Cedar Point and Holiday World are first on my list

    • @teesonethongkham1042
      @teesonethongkham1042 6 лет назад +1

      You'll love both parks. Cedar point has 18 coasters you and your parents will need at least 2 or 3 days for that park. What so cool about that park is that you can go to the beach and swim if you want to take a break from riding coasters. They have so many things you can do there.

      Tommy Grelle I went there last month for the first time in several years and Men it's like at all times five rides were down several roads were being taken apart couple had just completely disappeared and it's like what they were replacing them with just didn't equal up I really felt like they were slacking especially especially when you compared to how much you're paying to get into Park for food beverages crap like that the price keeps going up but personally I think the quality is going down. The one main thing I noticed that was different from the day Spencer as a teenager was that I waited no longer than 20 minutes to get on a ride where as in the 90s two and a half hours for a new ride was in normal wait time but they're also wasn't all this technology like people actually met each other and talked and what not. it was an experience in its own

    Hey, Show Me Coasters. This was a really nice list. If I were to do a ranking list of the best roller coasters of Missouri, it would be closely similar to yours, but there are some things I'd like to share about Outlaw Run that could make the ride experience even better. You see, the last time I was at Silver Dollar City, I rode Outlaw Run with Cooper St. John, a ride engineer who works on Outlaw Run. From his accounts of working and riding on RMC roller coasters, he told me that the best way to ride an RMC with RMC trains is to ride it in the 11th row, the second to the last row of the train. This is because the wheels of the train are built behind the second row of each train car, meaning that there are wheels near the 2nd, 4th, 6th, 8th, 10th, and 12th rows. There are also wheels close to the first row since the front of the train needs to stay on the track. Since the wheels directly interact with the track, you're more likely to have a rougher ride in the rows I stated earlier. The 11th row, on the other hand, doesn't have wheels under it and because of that, the ride is smoother in that row. Plus the back row really pulls some Gs throughout the ride course and I always enjoy a good back row ride. I experienced this first hand and there is a noticeable difference when riding it in the 11th row compared to the 1st row and any other row I've ridden this coaster. If my word isn't enough, I'll gladly help you get in contact with Cooper. He can explain it better than I can.

      Gaming with Nova, I know right. Other youtubers think our state is missable and they have no probelm saying it. For me it is not the amount of coasters in the park. It is the people who goes to the park that creates the enjoyable atmosphere. I've been to parks that have only 3 coasters and I have a blast, for example Seaworld Orlando only have 3 coasters, but it is one of the most memorable vacation I ever took, the Dolphins, shamu, and all the sea animals. I agree with you they just got to give Missouri a Chance.

    • @teesonethongkham1042

      These GCI coasters are great wooden coasters. They seem to hold together well for a longer time than their taller counterpart coasters made by other companies. I like the name Evel Knieval and Tony Hawks(now currently Pandemonium) it seems to add mystique to the rides. I missed the days when SF goes to the trouble and name each new coasters. Now everything is named after super heroes. I know they get money from naming these rides after heroes or that they are obligated to name them because they have naming rights.

      So mr. Scream world that last month for the first time in years I've only rode it a few times since its construction and every time I forget about that ride I seriously think it just launches you backwards does a corkscrew and then puts you in the air and pulls you back down I completely forget about all the other twist turns UPS Downs corkscrews excetera and my pure unbridled screams of Terror not only made my sixteen-year-old next to me laugh hysterically but other Riders as well that and the fact that I'm literally fighting with the roller coaster as I'm sustained in mid-air screaming no like commanding it no several times, as my son described I was screaming at it as if it was actually going to obey me, people thought that was pretty funny too and in hindsight I'm sure it was LOL but for me it was terrifying and just like every other time the right ends I would have to get off the ride and several times sit down get my bearings make my head stop spinning and hold back vomit. But for some reason I forget about all of that every time my son's like let's ride mr. Freeze and I'm like oh yeah I think I like that ride...
      That ride is birthed from the loins of the the devil, I swear LMAO

    A good coaster doesn't have to be tall or big or the fastest or have the most inversions. The removal of the helix on Timber Wolf kicks it off my Top Ten List and it kills me to say that because Curtis D. Summers was a Coaster G0d.

You should return to the park, it look totally different. The water park still look kind of the same.

  • @sarahhirshlee
    @sarahhirshlee 6 лет назад

    So last month as one of the rides was ending I think it was a ninja I was pulling my phone out of my bra before we got in to the station and that kind of straight away where the air brakes catch you because the ride was over and it was safe to take my phone out of my bra, where I put it for safekeeping I mean where else do you put it when you're getting flipped and thrown around in the air? Anyway a worker pointed out the sign that if I had a phone out on the right I could be a ejected from the park and refused entrance for up to a year which honestly not new to me I had a season pass revoked when I was a teenager for standing up on a coaster but that's a different story, anyway I was like well I didn't have it out on the ride ride I took it out when I knew it wouldn't fly out of my hands like when the ride was over and they were like if we see it again you're getting a ejected from the park. So my question is did I just have an overzealous employee or do you guys have some kind of spy cam I don't know about and should invest in LOL

    • @CoasterScouts
      @CoasterScouts 6 лет назад

      I think there's a better way of keeping your phone safe without the need of getting a spy cam. One thing I have been using this year, whenever I have gone to any amusement park, is a pair of shorts that have 3 zipper pockets where two of them are placed where normal pockets would be and the third one set on my left leg. What my shorts do is offer space for me to keep my phone by my side, and the zippers of each pocket are used to keep items like my phone secured throughout each roller coaster I ride on. This pair of shorts has kept me from losing my loose articles while riding every roller coaster in Missouri and other roller coasters like Vortex, Steel Vengeance, and Diamondback. These shorts roughly cost around $20-30, but it's something you should invest if you're planning on riding more roller coasters in the future.

The only exception is the new technology hybrid coasters made by RMC, where they stripped all the old laminated steel sectional tracks and replaced it with steel I-Beam steel track. For me that is not your classic wooden coaster even though they labeled it as wooden coasters. To me that is a steel coaster with a wooden support. There is a huge population of the roller coaster public that love these wooden coaster. Also there is a company that makes smaller wooden Coaster, GCI. GCI made American thunder and Prowler. Their coasters usually last longer b/c it's not that tall and held together better for a longer duration.

      tee sonethongkham Nobody considers RMC I-Box Coasters wooden. They are classified as hybrids. The ground-up RMC coasters on the other hand use a steel topper track over the wooden track, so they are still wooden coasters.

    this video is so inaccurate.. bruh Wildfire is not better than Patriot in any universe and Mamba was way smoother and far better than outlaw run. Idk I've been to both and timetravler is the only decent coaster at that park. Mamba and Patriot are way better idk u trippin
