I remember back when fire in the hole was there only coaster. We road it over and over and asked the operator to put more water at the end. Lol not sure if he could or not but we sure asked
I remember me and my dad riding that rollercoaster over and over again bc there where no lines and we just ran in line and just kept on going lol that is one of the best rides there..
Same!! Always has the longest line though :( You just can't beat that take off... The light is probably the scariest part though! I still get nervous when I watch videos of it! 🤣🤣
I miss when thunderation has backwards facing cars! My cousins and I would ride it back to back backwards every time we went. Plus the time traveler wasn’t built or even a thought at the time and it had the most beautiful views in the fall
Time Traveler is sweet! The seats are like EZ chairs and the restraint is super comfortable. The ride is also super smooth, fun ride. Wildfire has breath taking drops. Outlaw Run is a blast it does things I didn't think wooden coasters could do, such as the barrel role. Powder Keg is an explosive ride (haha) super quick, lots of fun. Thunderation is quick, a little rickety (bad backs no go) but also fun. Fire in the Hole is a classic but in reality sucks. Grand Exposition is super uncomfortable and painful... because it's a kid's ride. The five real coasters are great. The scariest ride though at SDC is the Giant Barn Swing - ride it!
Can't tell you guys how much I enjoy your videos. It's like spending the day at the park with some decent people who are good friends. Thank you for the channel, keep 'em coming!
I honestly don’t know how many times I’ve watched this video. A couple years ago we had a field trip to SDC, and I watched this about 30 times. I’m going in a couple weeks and I’ve watched it 14 times because I’m scared of coasters. Thank you because this video has really helped me.
Sorry folks fire in the hole was almost impossible to film. There is just no lights, the human eyes could see things that are dimly lit, but not cameras. Grand exposition, the kids were just too old and big to ride on it.
Fire in the hole was my first coaster that got me hooked to be a coaster fanatic. Wildfire I still have the merch. And powered keg I rode on when it first came out
I have riden every ride at sac except the new kid rides at fireman’s landing 1. Time traveler 2.outlaw run 3. Giant barn swing 4. Wildfire 5. Powder keg Those are my top 5 rides
I love going on the drop backwards for Time Traveler. Only been lucky enough to do it twice (since they do assigned seating now before you get to the gate and wasn't like that when it was first opened). All the other times it's been forwards which is honestly fun but also horrifying because of how steep it is lol. Taking it backwards though is so smooth and you feel weightless and also seeing the people's faces behind you is priceless when they feel that gut punch of the drop haha. I did have the unfortunate time riding it in the very back twice and when you go on the drop, the cart doesn't have enough time to do a full rotation before yanking you down so you take the drop sideways, so if you aren't prepared (like I was the first time it happened) you will get a massive head jerk into your seat. The second time I was put in the back though I was prepared and it was pretty fun. Time Traveler and Wildfire are my two favorites. Been going to SDC since I was a kid (now 26) and since I only live 30 mins away from the park, I've been very fortunate to ride these rides a lot. I hate Outlaw Run though, don't like the absence of a headrest and that is the one coaster that I would argue needs one
🤣🤣 I literally laughed the whole time watching this because I felt like I was on it again! It's such a fun and smooth ride! You really do laugh, the very back is the very best, after take off it JERKS you straight down and it's amazing because you don't know which direction your actually going to go! So fun!!
if you’re a really big thrill seeker and you go on the time traveler, face towards where the coaster goes out. because you face upwards when you’re going down the first drop and it truly feels like you’re going to fly off of the track
I’ve been to SDC so many times we had season passes and went every month maybe more but I’m missing it and I can’t go bc COVID T-T but seeing these rides I can literally feel the inertia of the ride it’s awesome
I remember one of them I like to come out of it. It had a bar only across the legs and it was a big rollercoaster ,nothing across the chest . I wouldn’t ride it again.
Time Traveller is a crazy fun coaster. I nearly lost my glasses due to the constant changing direction of centrifugal force. I'd suggest taking prescription or sunglasses off!
My grandparents live near there so whenever we visit them we go to silver dollar city and each time I go there I try to up my record of how many times I go on thunderation. My record is seven. It’s my favorite roller coaster ever.
If you like air time ... ride in the two back cars of time traveler.when the the cars go down the first drop the back cars are still in the station and the front are going down the drop so it kinda yeets you out of the station and straight into the drop
Haven’t ridden Time Traveler but 1. Outlaw Run Guess- Time Traveler 2. Wildfire 3. Powder Keg 4. Thunderation 5. Fire in the hole 6. Grand Exposition Coaster
As a person who goes there 4+ times a month, I still hate Time Traveler or Outlaw Run😂 These are (and always will be) my favorites. 1. Wild Fire 2. Powder Keg 3. Thunderation 4. Lost River (They did take it out because It got too old (1985) but its still my favorite) 5. Grandfathers mansion (I know this isn't a ride but I still love it dearly) There you go, as a person who has been going to SDC for 10+ years these are still my favorite rides/attractions

I have such fond memories of most of these rides. I didn't ride Fire in the Hole or the Grand Expedition, but I have ridden Thunderation, Wildfire, Powder Keg, Outlaw Run, and Time Traveler. I enjoy all of these rides and I love them all to death. Well, all except for one. I have bad memories of Outlaw Run. Nearly died or had gotten seriously injured during the ride. Halfway in, a lot of g force was applied on my body, causing my body to "flatten like a sandwich". I couldn't move or hardly breathe for the rest of the ride. I spent the rest of the day and most of the day after limping because of all the pain I felt in my back. I have been told by several people that I've talked to about it that it was enough to have potentially ended my life. I will never ride Outlaw Run again. The other rides tho? Love em. Thunderation and Wildfire are my favorites. Powder Keg still gives me a lot of anxiety when it comes to riding it but after I get over the sudden launch at the beginning then it's a ton of fun to ride. I can't say a whole lot about Time Traveler. I rode it once. I would've ridden it more than once but it kept breaking down the day I was there so they shut it down for the rest of the day. That one ride I took on it was enough to make me fall in love tho
I'm so sorry you had such a bad experience on Outlaw Run. Its one of our favorite coasters. but I'm glad you can still enjoy the other coasters at the park.
I love Silver Dollar City! I do a lot of Branson videos (driving around as well as at the shows). The coasters are cool, but he family friendly atmosphere is what I like best. How would you describe your time in Branson?
We love Branson its always a relaxing time when we visit down there. I think Silver Dollar City is one of the best Theme Parks in the world. sure their coaster count is small but you're getting so much more than just rides when you visit.
very good for attraction however not as much toxicity, good place for family fun, shows, shopping, parks, restaurants museums, hotels, and vehicles galore. the best park is sdc in my opinion, however just do whatever, it’s like the world, explore the place like that one dude who tries to find the minecraft world border
Thunderation is one of the best mine trains ive ridden, my only dislike for the coaster is in the tunnel, the track isnt aligned correctly or something but we hit a transition in there that kills my back.

Hi so I’m trying to get over my fear of heights by riding roller coasters. I’m looking for suggestions (I’ve rode fire in the hole and I’ve seen the thunderation is a good one)
one thing i did to conquer a big hurdle is wildfire, it helps train for headbanging due to the cobra roll and you really will not feel going upside down, any footage doesn’t do a justice for the actual ride so you have to do it yourself, it’s over in one or two seconds, if you’re afraid of it approaching, just keep your eyes shut, head back all the way, and neck stiff, ya wont feel a thing
the best time to ride outlaw run is when it’s pitch black outside. you can’t even see the track
That's always so fun!
Ikr
Thought my head got chopped off
I’ve been to SDC so many times and have never tried that, maybe I should next time I go...
wait they let you do that?
When I was there... my dad bribed me with jerky to get on the Time Traveler lol.
What does bribe mean
Alexis Hewett It means mean to persuade someone to do something by giving them something else in return after doing it.
Patrick Handrigan would it be like someone giving me a candy bar for if I ride a roller coaster or something
and I was talking about the word Bribe just then
Alexis Hewett Yeah. Exactly, someone persuades you to ride a roller coaster by giving you chocolate if you do it.
