Iron Rattler is awesome but I miss the old days of the original Rattler. At Fiesta Texas the Poltergiest has always been my personal favorite. They are all tons of fun.
Iron rattler is amazing. First time I rode it I was tricked into riding it and yelling at my sister the whole time for tricking me but it was SOO fun. 😂
I tricked my mom I into going on it lol. She wasn’t happy but she wasn’t mad either. She was kind of just like “you tricked me” in a playful way. She survived it but she won’t go on it again.
My dad and brother didn’t get to ride it and I felt bad the whole ride and on my dad’s way down off the ride he gave me a thumbs up so I didn’t feel bad.

Who else wishes that the Goliath, Superman, Iron Rattler, Batman, Poltergeist, and Wonder Woman were placed closer to each other so you don’t have to cross the whole park to get from iron rattler to the Goliath
Iron Rattler is so fun. I remember going on a cold day (by Texas standards anyway, not for a Canadian like me!) and near the end of the day, no one was in the park and the ride operator let me ride it continuously without getting off. I counted 17 times in a row!

Just came back from a Super great day at Six Flags. Here’s my favorite coasters, starting with 1: 1 - Iron Rattler. Best wooden/steel hybrid I’ve ever ridden. My favorite coaster in TX 2 - Wonder Woman. Super smooth, great airtime. Just wish it was longer. 3 - Superman. Buttery smooth. My favorite floorless in TX. And that 1st loop! 4 - Postergeist. Zero expectations going it. Loved every second. Fun looong launch coaster. Now the eh’s... Would not repeat ride these. 5 - Batman. Heck of a experience. Fun, Smooth but super disorientating. 6 - Pandemonium. Smooth, but those spins... My last ride of the day, and it made me hurl. (I could handle loops all day, but spins get to me bad!) Might not be entirely ride’s fault. I was still suffering from the headache I got earlier from... 7- Boomerang. Not as smooth as Batman. Just as disorientating, especially while Riding backwards. Thanks for the headache and whiplash. Nice color scheme though. 8 - Road Runner Express. Pretty forgettable besides the surprising rough ride for a “family coaster”. Pandemonium is the better family coaster, and that’s saying something... If you read this, thank you 😊
Fiesta texas is so fun I love it there. Iron rattler was soooo fun. And Superman makes you feel like you can fly it’s not even scary i found it super calming.
The Wonder Woman gave me more whiplash than all the car crashes I've ever been in...and one time my dune buggy went flipping around 6 times...there's no scorn like a woman's scorn 😅
Olivia Jarrell Actually it is. Fiesta Texas is my home park and Iron Rattler did slow down at the top of the lift hill until recently when it stopped doing so. Don’t know why though.
Ik it is but a lot of times it goes up faster only when it dangles it suppose to slow down I got there every year and it’s has only done that ones when we stopped
I think it depends on how many trains they are running on different days. if its a busy day and they have all 3 trains running they will slow it down or stop on the lift hill to let the train in front of it get far enough ahead to avoid a collision somewhere on the ride.
I can’t believe it was a moderate I screamed on that thing well it was my first coaster that went in a loop the others I rode were maximum and I never screamed.
Lol I recognized my two neighbors on the fireball ride was kinda cool seeing them considering they moved about a year ago and they where really cool kids crazy to see how young they where in this video
Who in here still remember when Fiesta Texas first opened up and the "Iron Rattler" was knows as "The Rattler?" That initial drop was the best of any wooden roller coaster! Six Flags messed that drop up by decreasing the angle when they acquired the property. Poltergeist is still my favorite rides at Fiesta Texas. :-D
Iron rattler is really great but it disappointed me at the end. It’s just not long enough. If it was a bit longer it would’ve been one of my favorite coasters. I can also hear in the distance Taylor from coaster studios yelling “It’s not a coaster” with fireball. Great vid! Hope to you see you at SFSL soon as I’m going a lot more often.
That's six Flags for yah, cutting on cost. Thank god they didn't RMC the Boss, that would just destroy the ride. People have been on the hate band wagon of Cedar Fair, for adding only 1 or 2 rides to their 13 parks. But when their parks they get a new coaster or RMC a coaster they do it right and don't shortened the ride to cut on cost, just saying. Cedar fair don't give everyone of their parks a new ride each year like SF does, only the top 5 gets royal treatment.
tee sonethongkham Agreed. Although I feel like iron rattler is the only RMC they have cut costs on in the chain. I feel like they know what they could do with the boss and won’t cheap out on it. As long as they don’t mess it up like they did the joker at SFDK. It’s widely considered the worst RMC even coaster studios recently gave it another go and still called it the worst. I’m guessing since it runs nylon wheels that’s the case. I’m just saying Six Flags has been going pretty good with the RMC’s lately. One thing of note that I found today is that according to the Six Flags app the boss is now closed for the season. It never closes this early. I remember last year riding it the third week of November. Not getting excited just yet but this does seem quite odd. I’ll have to go Saturday and see what’s up.
@@zmanzd8413 The Boss closes when the temperature gets too cold, I never seen they do it with other wooden coasters. If I seem to remember if the temperature falls below 56F. I could be wrong.
tee sonethongkham That could be right but I’ve never seen it close for the season like this before. Typically if it’s too cold it would just close for some time or the day as later on it could be above that minimum operating temperature (not the technical name as I don’t know or forgot). I’ll have to ask around when I go next to see why it’s closed for the season. Just a reminder I don’t think anything will happen but just want to see what’s going on.

Wow Poltergeist reminds me a lot of one of my favorite rides, Rock'n Rollercoaster at Disney. Used to be terrfied of poltergeist but i think i might actually enjoy it
It's the funnest thing you can do. Trust me as soon as you get on one ride that goes upside down you will want to get on every ride that goes upside down. The lines aren't that long either except for the gully washer and Goliath. Have fun.
Damn makes me miss six flags lol, even if it’s 115 in the summer and the lies take forever I would always hit the Goliath first cause it was right next to the entrance
I went yesterday.. super terrified of heights so i never get to see the view haha. The lines were so bad we only got to do 2 coasters, the other 2 were water rides. Wish i couldve rode some of these!!
I remember my first time on the poltergeist. I was younger and at the end it comes to a hard stop and I hit my nose on the hand rail in front of me. It hurt but oh well it was front row seat and the bloody nose was worth it
You should go back later this year (2022) and try the new one being built. It will be called Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger with a 95 degree drop straight down.

Your going to have an absolute blast! If your a thrill seeker like me, then wonder woman golden lasso will be the best and most legendary ride you will ever ride! No ride there compares to the experience it has, well iron rattler does a good job getting close but it's more intense than wonder woman. Oh and ride iron rattler at night! My first ride ever was on it at night during holiday in the park and the view of the lights was breathtaking, I didn't know the layout of the track and couldn't see so every turn and dip came as a complete surprise. Me and my cousin where in the front seat and got off very pleased and wanting to go on it again! If you don't know there's a line specifically for the first car, (all have two seats) sooo if ya want the first it's there. Which I'm over the moon with. In my opinion all rides should have first seat queues. And don't let the little Road Runner Express fool ya! That coaster was my very first coaster ever and is my childhood coaster, if wonder woman wasn't here it would still be my favorite! The G's it has are awesome! And don't let the long line fool ya, it goes pretty quickly! I've been here more than 100 times it seems and am never disappointed by any of the rides! I really do hope you have a blast! I always do!

Later, I use to take my brother and my sister there and we all went on the roller coaster, I didn't go on the bigger coasters, I thought they looked too scary for me! Lol But whenever I get to go back, I'll try a few again. My hubby gets too dizzy (inner ear problem), but I just might call my brother to meet us there! Lol I really don't know if Disneyland is open, they said they are then they said they had to close again. I rather be safe right now. Thanks for responding back to me! 😁

I go here almost every weekend. I love every ride there! They actually sometimes light up the cave on the Iron Rattler/Rattler.

2.Goliath

The Goliath at this six Flags is the exact same as the Batman at St Louis six flags like legit the exact same just different colors

I went yesterday.. super terrified of heights so i never get to see the view haha. The lines were so bad we only got to do 2 coasters, the other 2 were water rides. Wish i couldve rode some of these!!
Batman in this video is the joker(great adventure) in yellow and black. The joker in GA is purple and green and has all the joker logos and stuff.

I remember my first time on the poltergeist. I was younger and at the end it comes to a hard stop and I hit my nose on the hand rail in front of me. It hurt but oh well it was front row seat and the bloody nose was worth it
You should go back later this year (2022) and try the new one being built. It will be called Dr. Diabolical's Cliffhanger with a 95 degree drop straight down.

I've gone on every single ride in the whole park from iron rattler 40 times in a row (gold plus members night) to the kiddie rides.
The wooden coaster in Dallas was rough. My dad and me knocked noggins and had headaches.

Your going to have an absolute blast! If your a thrill seeker like me, then wonder woman golden lasso will be the best and most legendary ride you will ever ride! No ride there compares to the experience it has, well iron rattler does a good job getting close but it's more intense than wonder woman. Oh and ride iron rattler at night! My first ride ever was on it at night during holiday in the park and the view of the lights was breathtaking, I didn't know the layout of the track and couldn't see so every turn and dip came as a complete surprise. Me and my cousin where in the front seat and got off very pleased and wanting to go on it again! If you don't know there's a line specifically for the first car, (all have two seats) sooo if ya want the first it's there. Which I'm over the moon with. In my opinion all rides should have first seat queues. And don't let the little Road Runner Express fool ya! That coaster was my very first coaster ever and is my childhood coaster, if wonder woman wasn't here it would still be my favorite! The G's it has are awesome! And don't let the long line fool ya, it goes pretty quickly! I've been here more than 100 times it seems and am never disappointed by any of the rides! I really do hope you have a blast! I always do!

@@ShowMeCoasters Cool! I still love a fun roller coaster! I live an hour from Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, CA, I've been going there since it first open and I was a little kid then! Later, I use to take my brother and my sister there and we all went on the roller coaster, I didn't go on the bigger coasters, I thought they looked too scary for me! Lol But whenever I get to go back, I'll try a few again. My hubby gets too dizzy (inner ear problem), but I just might call my brother to meet us there! Lol I really don't know if Disneyland is open, they said they are then they said they had to close again. I rather be safe right now. Thanks for responding back to me! 😁
