This guy makes his videos by getting fake pictures of insane roller coasters, looking up "scary roller coasters" and making a list of top 10 rides he thinks would be as scary as the pictures he finds while not really knowing anything about the coasters.
I was the 17th person to board and ride Hercules at Dorney Park. I LOVE wooden coasters, and this was NO exception, save the fact that yes... the turn at the bottom of the first drop drove you hard to the outside and if you were sitting in the left seat, your knees were forced into the upright for the front of your car and the safety latch. The passenger on your right had all their weight pushed into you side and their legs pushed yours even harder to the upright. But all-in-all, I loved Hercules. Over its life however, it got tougher and tougher to ride. The swelling caused many hard jolts in the joining track pieces and it made your lower back ache by the end of the ride. Wish they had just fixed the issues and let it get old properly, but Cedar Fair didn't want to sink the money into it to make those repairs.
Hurricane #1 insane banned coaster?! That's insane. It was a great coaster, smooth and very fun to ride. It was closed due to bad management and a land sale. The rest of the list is okay, but you blew it with the Hurricane at #1. It is more fitted for a list of best wooden coasters.
I rode the Hercules when I was a teen and totally loved it for the fact that first climb was in a fog and appeared like we were in the clouds with the shaking of the wood as we went down made it look like we were going right into the water. Actually, I thought that. Personally any roller coaster I take the front seat to boot. My adrenaline lasted all day. It's is still the only roller coaster to momentarily cause me the thought 'I am going to die'. This coming from one who rode Kingda Ka opening weekend when it was still getting stuck at the top.
T R I G G E R E D. none of these are banned- they all closed due to maintenence issues. When you said high roller was 900ft above the ground, 'leading to a pretty insane drop' I facepalmed. It doesn't drop down the stratosphere. Just no. These videos are ridiculous
that's exactly what I was thinking. none of these coasters were insane they were either poorly designed or would cost too much to maintain. most of them seemed like kiddie rides
First off, literally none of these coasters were banned. The parks just chose to shut them down. Fake news. But far worse was that you said that you think that "wooden roller coasters seem super dangerous." Yeah, you have no idea what you're talking about. You're FAR safer on a wooden coaster than you are driving.
I was in the building when the tower caught on fire while being built. Was amazing there were flaming planks of wood falling from the sky near one exit, fire alarms going off, and people stayed at the machines and tables. I never went on high roller because i did the Big Shot first and i thought that was enough heights for one night. It was removed by the time i went there again.
@@HelioSkeptic I did the big shot and then I couldn't do anymore. I was having trouble just being up that high. I didn't realize I was that bad with heights but it was hard for me. Lol
Funtime Luna: But there's still a chance, they say airplane travel is safer than driving a car but that doesn't mean plane crashes won't occur, in other words I don't want to take that chance no matter how small.
My dreams are bad enough as is lol I’m always falling off something are trying to balance or run and can’t. Or I’ll be driving a vehicle up a steep hill and it will start to flip back
The Hercules was the bomb! everytime you went over that retention pond your head got thrashed and it would send you out of your seat. So glad I got to ride that monster. It made kingda ka seem like merry Poppins.
#5 wasn't banned, the stratosphere just didn't have enough money to invest in the major repairs it required so they closed it down. You also inaccurately state that the ride is unsafe. It featured hydrolic cyclinders that kept the restraints locked and it was a tame ride other than its height as you can see from the POV you provided.
I rode the Stratosphere Roller Coaster while it was in operation. The ride was tame. However, I am nervous of heights, so that made the ride personally exciting.
The Hurricane was awesome!! The months leading up to its shut down the staff would let people stay on and go multiple times!! I remember when they built it, and the sad day they took it down... but hey, maybe the Chipotle or the Brew Pubs they replaced it with will be just as fun lol :-/
There’s some place called King Island and it’s in Ohio. They took it down way long ago because many people died in it. It was so shaky that everytime someone would go on it, someone probaly got injured. Look up The Sun Of Beast. It was pretty huge too
No it wasn't taken down cause of the loop it was taken down cause a split in the supports cause the trains were to heavy. When they got lighter trains I could complete the loop but by that time it was still too rough
It's actually not that bad now. I'm pretty sure it's called mouse trap? Or wild mouse! I went on one recently. And for a person who doesn't ride roll coasters it's pretty fun!

It is more fitted for a list of best wooden coasters.
fax
Unnamed in walibi flevo is also a good wooden coaster
“Permanently banned forever”
Just in case you might think it was permanently banned for a few months...
@@dunchaka lol
LOVED! LOVED Hercules!!! I was on that coaster over 30 times in my life!!!!!
I live near that amusement park, about 2 minutes, hydra the revenge is really good but not as nice as Hercules
5:10 their camera is having major issues.
It’s screaming for help
I love number 2 so much omg, just really how would anyone ride that? :0 !!!!
You should've put Son of Beast from Kings Island. Also #2 had veeeeery good quality 👌👌👌👌
official_fresh_sans omg, I hated that ride
Lori Coody I wasnt even alive when it was torn down I dont think. XDD
official_fresh_sans They should have! I wish I could've ridden it, but I was only four when it shut down.
official_fresh_sans yes
You can still ride Rat as Käpt'n Jack's Wilde Maus at Eifelpark in Germany
I rode the Hercules when I was a teen and totally loved it for the fact that first climb was in a fog and appeared like we were in the clouds with the shaking of the wood as we went down made it look like we were going right into the water. Actually, I thought that. Personally any roller coaster I take the front seat to boot. My adrenaline lasted all day. It's is still the only roller coaster to momentarily cause me the thought 'I am going to die'. This coming from one who rode Kingda Ka opening weekend when it was still getting stuck at the top.
Hell to the no on all of them especially the honorable mention
I agree with you
Yup
same
Jessica Woodmus hate to see it
I strongly agree
I love how he said INSANE coasters even though they are all family coasters
BAHAHAHHA “WOODEN COASTERS SEEM PRETTY DANGEROUS” PATHETIC
At age 60, I still LOVE all coasters!!
Lol stop lying
I am NOT lying. Did Dorney in Alllentown the last day of the season, had a blast on all the coasters! @@koolaid9899
sezthemzYT cruz you hate coaster hate coasters=hate you
@@koolaid9899 why would someone lie about that? Its like lying about liking trampolines or carnivals.
@@translucenc3lol482 no i mean about his age

Edit: Its not even banned lol.
The GP at work! :) lmao
Superslash Gaming and
Ik and it isn’t in the middle of a city😂😂
Superslash Gaming yes I actually rode it recently 10/10
Legit every gp thumbnail smh
T R I G G E R E D. none of these are banned- they all closed due to maintenence issues. When you said high roller was 900ft above the ground, 'leading to a pretty insane drop' I facepalmed. It doesn't drop down the stratosphere. Just no. These videos are ridiculous
that's exactly what I was thinking. none of these coasters were insane they were either poorly designed or would cost too much to maintain. most of them seemed like kiddie rides
Well, to be fair you did say "These Videos" so its not too out there to think you meant the whole channel. Just saying XD
chumon1992 I meant the series he has on rollercoasters. He doesn't know a thing.
Coasterfan3657 yeah that I can agree with XD
Coasterfan3657 CNN fake news
I rode the Hercules several times in my childhood it wasn’t that bad! That was the go too roller coaster 🙌🏼
Melanie J then there’s steel force and talon
i hate sharp turns on roller coasters
Cecile Ward yes there scary and fun
never ride wild mouse coasters~
They r fun but scary to
Me to
me too
First off, literally none of these coasters were banned. The parks just chose to shut them down. Fake news.
But far worse was that you said that you think that "wooden roller coasters seem super dangerous."
Yeah, you have no idea what you're talking about. You're FAR safer on a wooden coaster than you are driving.
He must be drunk!
I remember when the Stratosphere was being built! Which insane person decided to add a roller coaster on the top of it?
I was in the building when the tower caught on fire while being built. Was amazing there were flaming planks of wood falling from the sky near one exit, fire alarms going off, and people stayed at the machines and tables. I never went on high roller because i did the Big Shot first and i thought that was enough heights for one night. It was removed by the time i went there again.
@@brettmastema7056 I road that coaster and the needle ride.
@@HelioSkeptic I did the big shot and then I couldn't do anymore. I was having trouble just being up that high. I didn't realize I was that bad with heights but it was hard for me. Lol
i love roller coaster i subscribed
Oh no it's a coaster video by the GP...
The Saucetin yep
Jenna Margeson gp
Gp
The Saucetin ikr
WHY HAS THIS DUMB GP VIDEO GOT SO MANY LIKES
My fear of heights and my fear of dying prevents me from riding on a rollercoaster.
I think roller coasters are way too high....
nice one
Funtime Luna: But there's still a chance, they say airplane travel is safer than driving a car but that doesn't mean plane crashes won't occur, in other words I don't want to take that chance no matter how small.
Funtime Luna: I might get adventurous one day and ride on one, but don't hold me to that. 🎢 🎡 🎠 😂
My dreams are bad enough as is lol I’m always falling off something are trying to balance or run and can’t. Or I’ll be driving a vehicle up a steep hill and it will start to flip back
Just looking at this is messing with my anxiety 😣
Wooden roller coasters are really safe though and as safe as the steel roller coasters!
The scariest part about the Vegas coaster was probably getting in and to the outer seat.
oh my gosh hahah i just thought of that! id be so scared tbh
# 2
The bad footage, is what would keep me from riding this Roller coaster!! Looks scary! Lol
The footage is from the early 90s, what were you expecting?
The Hercules was the bomb! everytime you went over that retention pond your head got thrashed and it would send you out of your seat. So glad I got to ride that monster. It made kingda ka seem like merry Poppins.
4:58 wooden coasters are dangerous apparently to this gp. THEY aren’t
However, I am nervous of heights, so that made the ride personally exciting.
if the wooden one seems scary, try steel vengeance at cedar point. that ride is literally i n s a n e
facts that ride is crazy
The Hurricane was awesome!! The months leading up to its shut down the staff would let people stay on and go multiple times!! I remember when they built it, and the sad day they took it down... but hey, maybe the Chipotle or the Brew Pubs they replaced it with will be just as fun lol :-/
There’s some place called King Island and it’s in Ohio. They took it down way long ago because many people died in it. It was so shaky that everytime someone would go on it, someone probaly got injured. Look up The Sun Of Beast. It was pretty huge too
Queen Potato Vlogs yea it was wooden with a loop and that’s kind of dangerous I live in Ohio and I’ve seen it but I don’t ride things like that lol
Firestar33 actually VERY! Not kinda
No it wasn't taken down cause of the loop it was taken down cause a split in the supports cause the trains were to heavy. When they got lighter trains I could complete the loop but by that time it was still too rough
please roller coaster are literally safer than driving in a car.
Twistashio seriously?
3:11 Ummmm that dont make not sense make THIS
↓ blue if u agree! permanely banned for ever?!
@Emma Kawasaki I DID DAT ON PURPOUSE!
It's Terrifying and Horrifying and Scariest Ride Ever Made
Banned does not mean demolished for extra space
Number 2
The “Fact” was wrong he was 17 and fell 150 to his death
Top 5 children's rides that have been shut down due to deaths. Also the last one, who would even want to ride something that can easily kill you??
Wooden coasters aren't inherently dangerous. There are some seriously kickass ones out there (Phoenix, El Toro, Lightning Rod, et al).
This is cool in the video when people get hert
Nothing dangerous about it
@joe griffith explain what's dangerous
That guy talks to fast. I couldn't hear the name of the shopping center that's going to be built. (It probably is there now)
that thumbnail put me in a really 'thrilling' mood
i would not ride number two
or number one
It's actually not that bad now. I'm pretty sure it's called mouse trap? Or wild mouse! I went on one recently. And for a person who doesn't ride roll coasters it's pretty fun!
Angellife 133 wild mouse 9s a roller coaster from Hersheypark 😂😂
I almost fell off the ring of fire at the blueberry festival my knees wore the only thing keeping me in and my head was touching the top
Sally Jackson agreed
Number 2 isnt banned coz you can find the rattle snake at Chessington it's the same ride
“the rat” sound like wild mouse at hershey
We have exactly the same at allou fun park
The wild mouse is a very popular model whit many manufacturers making their own model with similar layouts.
The Las Vegas one is crazy I subscribed
awsome i want to go on the 5 one
Ashley Moreno you can't. It's closed.
The High Roller is not on top of the stratosphere anymore
