Used is the way! Picked up a 14 gs 350 awd about 5 months ago with 29k on it for 24k. Car is cherry, looks and drive new! There is alot of these cars hiding in seniors garages not being used.
The problem with the GS is, its always been that sibling that you hardly ever see. But once you see it, its wow. Everyone has always sought after the LS, ES , RX and IS. The LX & GX has always been those siblings away in college. And the others siblings are just around like the RC etc. I remember back in the day our across the Street neighbor had a 1993 GS and the bought a 1995 Mercedes C-Class. He would wash both of his cars consistently. But something about that GS especially with those taillights was a head turner.
Justin S I wanted a GS for years but my budget wouldn’t allow it. So I decided to do a little more research and purchased a 2016 ES 350 for $28k. I am extremely happy with it.
Everytime I hop in my 2018 GS350 Fsport, I'm in awe of the quality and beauty she possesses. I purposely park, nose first, just to marvle at the rear lights when I deactivate the alarm at work. She is a work of art, in and out. (Atomic silver/Rioja red)
i will not believe it ! hopefully they will not give up this GS !!!! Especially the GS450h is one , if not the best, powerfull Hybrid all around ! But was it so difficult to upddate that Infotainment with the one from the ES ??? OMG ....LEXUS , come on
@@KirkKreifels thx....bad decision. imo.. So i have to buy a used one......thankfully they hold min 300000 km without bigger repairs. I wished they would update that V6Hybrid with a bigger PlugIn pack and second E-motor or bigger e-motor.
I had a 2013 GS350 F sport in the rare starfire white for a little over 2 years had to sell for financial reasons but it was the best 48,000 miles ever. such a good all around as a daily driver then perfect for back roads on weekends. Tech was a little slow but the way power was delivered and the way it handled especially with PS4S. I loved it!
This is the exact model and package I want!!! This color, those wheels, the triple beam headlights and the spoiler. All I need to do is tint the windows and this bad boy is good to go!
I have a 2014 with 115,000 miles and i am amazed at how amazing it runs. Engine pulls strong. So reliable. I use a k&n air filter and it breathes easier, I get an additional 1 mpg and can feel a bit of extra punch. It's a keeper.
@@fixhead562 I believe the engine in that car the gs460 was somewhat underrated because the ls460 is running around with the same engine the 4.6 L V8 making 385 horsepower where the GS 460 is advertised at 340 horsepower
@@fixhead562 yeah it would be nice I currently have a 06 gs430 which I love black on black and one of my dream cars a 2008 Lexus ISF which is a monster I don't care that it has a manual trans because it has that wonderful 8 speed with paddle shifters
If they would have continued to update the software in this vehicle, replaced the mouse with the trackpad, and just refreshed the front fascia they could have brought this car back to being desirable.
@@KirkKreifels Why doesn't Lexus allow IS and GS owners to take their vehicles to the dealership for a system update? For a charge of course. I mean they're still using the same displays and the mouse is pretty much the same thing as the trackpad.
@@ZS-xi4xk it's probably a slower processor. The system has a bit of lag when I change songs and stations or even turning off in my IS. Probably can't handle Android auto..
@@thtupid I think it probably could, the system is relatively smooth most of the time and most of Android Auto is ran off your phone's internals and just projected on the screen through a usb connection
The GS Levinson stereo system is far superior to the new ES Levinson stereo system. I test drove both cars one after the other and noticed the GS Levinson stereo was much clearer and crisp with hard hitting base. The ES Levinson does get loud and sounds good for sure but distorted a little at higher volumes. While comparing the two though, you notice a huge difference in the GS Levinson stereo while listening to your favorite tracks. The GS version is deeper and more substantial to the fine tuned ear. The GS is more sporty and drives better too. I'd take a nicely appointed used GS over a new ES any day.
I’m still holding on my 2013 GS 350 Fsport . It has 45k on it now. Still in excellent condition always serviced at Lexus. The reason for the miles is because I have a GMC Sierra as my daily. I know the ES is taking over but I like my rear wheel drive.
I love the design of the current GS generation (2013-present).I hope it lives on. But part of me feels like Lexus might surprise us with a new model lol
They want it to die on the vine , just as is. If I can’t get a 2020, I’ll buy out my 2018 F sport lease. The service manager told me if I do. There is no reason to get the extended warranty. The opposite of the sales team. Simply because his experience in this decade with this vehicle shows. They simply DONT BREAK DOWN,,,
I sometimes think the problem with the gs is that it was such a good car that most people with them never feel a need get a new one. My 15 has 105000, and I just have a hard time justifying getting anything else.
As always, thanks for the review! The old infotainment, old "slow-to-read music" USB ports, and other non-updated items made me go with the new ES instead. The rear of the 4gen GS is still beautiful!
Well. I have a 2008 Lexus ES 350 I just purchased. So I can't wait to buy a 2018 in a ten years in the used markets. Lexus and Toyota cars dont die and are incredibly well made !
I just got my GS450H these years it was the last one in Madrid coz every one is buying NX or ES. I’m totally agree ES has more corks and better nav etc but for me is more important feeling more quality and better handling car and went all the way for the GS even paying 25 grand euros more than the ES with the same executive trim.
Second-generation GS was King. I like the way they offered different choices between v6 and V8 back then. And if I remember correctly they sold them as fast as they could make them. All these years later it's still looks great too. I will be very sad to see the GS go the way of the dodo
Keep it. Add some power and update the rear. Then updated the infotainment and add panoramic roof. This would make it marketable to all others. The new Acura TL Type S is coming out with a NSX modified engine pushing over 350hp.
Still loving my 18 RWD F-Sport with 14k on the clock I bought new with Caviar/Red. It's is my forever car that I store in the winters here in the rust belt. RWD is much easier to service the engine vs. the AWD models is one of the reasons I bought it.
I think if they made the ES AWD then they may get rid of GS. I had fun with the GS. GS & GX are the legends. They have aged more. If they put in more power in this car then the competitors will have to watch out. Kirk I always liked the in dash navigation screen. Yes, the interior I always loved.
Its a real shame if they discontinue the GS line. As mentioned by others, Lexus inability to update the infotainment was a total injustice to this car. Pound for pound, this was my favorite all around Lexus car. I like this car a lot better then the 5 series. I owned a 2012 for 7 years and not once did I have an issue with it. If doesn't sound like the ES can properly replace the GS, the IS is to small and the LS is to big. Although Lexus didn't sell as many of these, what base they did have will probably leave for a European equivalent.
Always love a well-tuned luxurious sedan that drives well with sporty characteristics and is comfortable and quiet inside the car. No necessity to have the fastest engine and quickest gear shifts. GS fits all these requirement well and it is one of the most appropriate luxurious sports sedan for driving enthusiasts driving.
I currently have a 07 gs450h and my god I can't believe I had it for over a year and it's the longest I've owned any car of mines. I guess that's how great the car is to me knowing I can average up to 34mpg(highway) in a v6. If it's true about the discontinuation of this model I just want to say not goodbye but I'll be looking forward for the GS comeback one day. 🤞❤
I know this is an older video but just wanted to say thank you for this review.. I'm looking for a used car I prefer Japanese cars... made in Japan cars.. so this video helped. Hope Lexus doesn't pull the plug but in the current market I could see it happening. :/ Crazy how good cars never make it over here.. maddening. Anyway.. thanks :)
I traded my 2014 GS 350 F Sport for a 2015 Genesis 3.8 (G80) Ultimate. The 2015 is loaded with technology, heads up display, lane keeping assist, and radar cruise. The GS didn’t have any of these features. I may a mistake. I should have waited for a 2016/2017 GS 350 with the same features as the genesis. I miss The excellent customer service at a Lexus Dealership. It’s not the same as going into a hyundai dealership.
I will be sad to see this car go as I’ve been a fan of it since 1998! I think the huge reason for low sales is because the V8 option for a non-F model has been taken away many years ago. This car has everything except the competitive performance of BMW.
Kirk Kreifels I am getting a ‘19 in the liquid platinum. The reason this car is so much better than the ES is because it’s designed as a rear wheel drive rather than front wheel drive (even though it has AWD). From a handling perspective, RWD bias is where it’s at, IMO.
Not just that it's RWD, it's front suspension is a classic (and rare nowadays) double wishbone design. Back in the 90s, most Honda and Acura cars had it, along with many others. In 2019, only select high end cars have double wishbone.
Hopefully with the new incoming Lexus president, he fights to give the GS another chance. All this car needs is some simple updating and a all new powertrain.
@@MrMustangrick I mean the Toyota CEO said he really didn't want the current generation , but his managers and product development teams fought to keep it. I personally think it just needs to be elevated to the next level and differentiate itself from the ES, make Lexus GS 500 Grand Coupe with a turbo charged V6 with at least 375 Hp , 21 inch rims, digital gauges, class leading materials and modern infotainment with AWD and they'll have a winner. The question is are they willing to put in the development cost abd would customers but it. I would!
@YungGBone124127134 Dude you took the words out my mouth. I love Lexus but the dont do enough to push the envelope. Mercedes and BMW always introduce industry first in there cars and with that things sometimes fail or break quicker than normal, Lexus is smart they wait until features perfected let the Germans get the bad wrap in the beginning and then put it on there cars as standard and sell it like it revolutionary. SMART but people don't care about a company's heritage anymore, whoever makes the best looking, desirable vehicle is winning.
@YungGBone124127134 They clearly have to know how to pull it off. The same engine in the LFA OMG! But i really think theyre brewing up something. I love the look of the 2013 Mercedes CLS but those cars are money pits so I wouldn't buy one.
Whoohoo I watched this video 4x. And I have one the 18 GS F sport. I was at the wedding , but not going to the funeral. I either keep this one or if am lucky enough to get the last of the 2020’s. Atomic Silver is smoking
I currently own a 2017 IS200t F-Sport & thinking about upgrading to a GS350 in the future. Had my IS for 16 months so far & it's been fantastic so far & saved about $18k over a new one, but may want to go back to a mid-size sedan (had a 2015 Camry XSE V6 prior). The cupholders are my only major complaint in my IS & are in a far better location in the GS. The turbo 4 in my IS is smooth & quiet even at higher revs, but sometimes miss the sound of a V6 & will likely have less problems in the long run.
Great video, thanks for sharing! (secretly still surprised it is still in production in the US after being cancelled over here) I do like that spec/colour! PS MERRY CHRISTMAS from Scotland!!
I'm hoping we get a version of the Toyota Crown as the new IS to bridge the gap. Im personally holding out to see how big the next IS is before I buy a new car. It'll be that or the new TLX type S.
If you can get over the boaty feeling of it, it's def a nice car. Even in sport plus its only slightly better. Doesn't have much more more room than an IS I find. Then again just my takeaway from my test drive the other day of a 2015 base GS and 2013 F sport. Not sure if the newer ones are much diff
It would be cool if lexus made the GS an all electric car that would compete with Tesla and the Mach E, etc. And I kind of like the idea of a fast-back GS that would be interesting also
I hope Toyota doesn’t kill the GS line. I have owned a 2013 GS350 RWD since new and still love driving it. Great balance between smooth ride and good handling. Very peppy engine. Refined interior except for the useless infotainment system. I was waiting for a redesigned model, but I guess I’ll hold to it a while longer. It’s a great driver’s car. Had an IS before but too cramped. Personally I can’t stand how the ES drives.
Totally agree Apple’s to oranges when it comes to the way both drive . It’s sad to hear from the salesmen and managers that the simple fix is to add AWD to the ES. I told them all ,they have no clue. Or they have a lousy sale pitch to transplant the GS owners .That won’t work
Welp, just bought a used 2013 Lexus GS 350 w/luxury package! Might get another GS (2014 - 2016) later in the future. These vehicles may become collectors items later on.. we shall see!!
Everyone is complaining of its age, yet the JGC is even older and does well. The infotainment is the Achilles heel of this car. Such an easy fix, but Lexus was too stupid to understand that. Thank god Apple CarPlay is finally available as an aftermarket install. I am holding on to hope that the Mirai will preview the next GS. Even if it is restricted to California and niche markets, just keep the nameplate alive. This is the best car I’ve ever owned and it would be really painful to see it go 😢
Apple CarPlay available as an aftermarket install? Can you tell me where or what brand? Just bought a 2016 and would love to have it installed. Did the same for my 2007 4Runner and now it has 250,000 miles and better tech than a 2019 4Runner, which cracks me up. So where do I get this for my “new” Lexus? thanks!
Really miss my 2013 F sport, had to sell because bouncing overseas, Still miss it big time! It was a dealer buy back so I saved tons of cash but knew it would be solid. After four years and three years with the new buyer (work mate), its never had an issue in seven years. Think BMW can do that. The moment I have an opportunity to get another one it will be a done deal.
Lexus should continue the GS line. There needs to be a Lexus competitor to 5-Series and E-Class. Even Infiniti is supposedly going to roll out a new Q70. Lexus can drop the 3.5V6TT from the LS into a new GS.
it's really a pity that Lexus cancels GS series. I own a 2016 GS300H. To be honest, I think hybrid GS with ECVT transmission is the best in the middle size sedan segment, given that I don't have any child :)
I thoroughly enjoy your detail-rich reviews. They are some of the most objective, informative reviews on line. I am considering buying a new 2020, but somewhat concerned about buying a new vehicle that hasn’t had significant updates in a few years. On the flip side, all production and engineering bugs should have been resolved. I don’t need bleeding edge infotainment technology. Simply want a high quality, reliable, enjoyable drivers car. Your thoughts?
I have a ultrasonic blue mica 2.0 on order and it will be ready in March! Although it is a lease, I may consider buying it out if they do discontinue it. I cant wait!
But for crying out loud why will Lexus Motor Company stop the production of this beautiful car,as a matter of fact it is my favourite of all the cars coming from Lexus and the Rx is my favourite among the Suv, honestly it is just like killing joy.The reason why I so much like this Gs model is that it is bulky and it's size, it is bigger than the Es which is the slimmer model and smaller than the Ls which is the bigger model. Lexus Motor Company please I beg you don't let the Lexus Gs die.
GREGGS TECH ES are nice too but GS has is place in my heart, if they make a AWD ES then I wouldn’t be so sad about the GS being discontinued, I got A6 on leases for good deal but it will be my last leased car and I’ll be looking at the ES when my lease is done.
The GS can most definitely be reseructed The current gen although so old is only missing modern tech It looks like it's a new design inside out it means when it came out it was and is a really good vehicle The gs450h was definlty ahead of its time as it was a perfromcne hybrid rather than economy and now is the time for that The only thing that has to happen with the GS is new technology A plug in in performance hybrid as well as a good turbo engine With latest tech similar to es,ls and latest rx
100% agreed. the 4cylHybrid in the ES is much to weak on our speeedlimitfree autobahn and shut down at 180 km/h ? The GS450H run smooth in its limiter at 240km/h were all our german cars do.
Not these two are even comparable but when I see a GS, it reminds me of the discontinued Ford Crown Vic. Everyone lamented about it’s history and unique features but no one I knew bought one. Though the cars were significant during their time, they declined with obsolescence and what kills most vehicles is poor sales.
I just bought a slightly used 2014 GS 350 with 50k miles! Looks , feels and drives BRAND NEW! First time I owned a Lexus. I had a Toyota SUV once! Sold it after 5 yrs it was dependable but cheap materials and bad interior specially the fake leather. So disappointed. I always owned an Acura. Started with a 2002 Acura TL type S and then 2017 Acura MDX. But this Lexus GS is nothing compared to my Acura! GS is over engineered to perfection! Example its insulations from the door panel to its engine compartment! Amazingly built to perfection . I will keep my Acuras but will buy Lexus from now on.
Love my Lexus GS 350 F sport. This car has such an elegant interior, smooth ride, and ample hp. I cant imagine Lexus stopping production of this car. This is the most sporty car they have. It would be a big mistake to do this. The Lexus ES looks reminds me too much of a camry and the IS is too small.
The GS must live on. It’s been in Lexus’s blood since 1991.
We can hope 🤞

Used is the way! Picked up a 14 gs 350 awd about 5 months ago with 29k on it for 24k. Car is cherry, looks and drive new! There is alot of these cars hiding in seniors garages not being used.
This is one of my many dream cars. I guess if these are discontinued by the time I graduate from law school, I'll just have to buy a used one.
I bought 2016 F Sport and I love it. Will be keeping it for a long time.
I bought my 2017 a year old certified until 2024 with 12,000 miles on it for $40,000. I can’t imagine a better car for that price point.
Justin S I wanted a GS for years but my budget wouldn’t allow it. So I decided to do a little more research and purchased a 2016 ES 350 for $28k. I am extremely happy with it.
Why pay for a car that you afraid to put miles on it? U need to enjoy it and drive it more.
My very first vehicle was a GS, for high school graduation in '94. I'm glad it's still around, Lexus perfect vehicles.
OMG ....LEXUS , come on
Yep. No hybrid. No updates.
All I need to do is tint the windows and this bad boy is good to go!
it is stunning
I had two GS400. I loved them.
What do you drive now?
Just bought a 2016 F Sport. Loving it.
I have a 2014 with 115,000 miles and i am amazed at how amazing it runs. Engine pulls strong. So reliable. I use a k&n air filter and it breathes easier, I get an additional 1 mpg and can feel a bit of extra punch. It's a keeper.
The old 8 cylinder gs430 is a monster.
Yes it is I have one and it would beat this car performance wise
What about the gs460 I feel like that was underrated with power to weight ratio and it’s 8 speed
@@fixhead562 I believe the engine in that car the gs460 was somewhat underrated because the ls460 is running around with the same engine the 4.6 L V8 making 385 horsepower where the GS 460 is advertised at 340 horsepower
Nathan Lopez imagine that engine with a 6 speed MT slapped to it. Dreams Japanese V8’s>American v8’s
That should have been the minimum.
The system has a bit of lag when I change songs and stations or even turning
off in my IS. Probably can't handle Android auto..
@@thtupid I think it probably could, the system is relatively smooth most of the time and most of Android Auto is ran off your phone's internals and just projected on the screen through a usb connection
Companies make different processors for these cars
I really hope they never cancel that awesome car i was just looking for a used prices market for that specific model 🙁
It's the perfect all around car...luxury, sportiness, 4 doors, reliability, performance
fuel economy and modern features are the only drawbacks
Love my GS450h. Best car I've owned and can't ever see letting it go
I’m still holding on my 2013 GS 350 Fsport . It has 45k on it now. Still in excellent condition always serviced at Lexus. The reason for the miles is because I have a GMC Sierra as my daily. I know the ES is taking over but I like my rear wheel drive.
That's a great 1-2 combo of vehicles! Thanks for sharing.
I love the design of the current GS generation (2013-present).I hope it lives on. But part of me feels like Lexus might surprise us with a new model lol
Why wouldn't Lexus update the infotainment software since it already exists in other cars? There is no excuse for that shit.
Stop people from using phones while driving that's why
They want it to die on the vine , just as is. If I can’t get a 2020, I’ll buy out my 2018 F sport lease. The service manager told me if I do. There is no reason to get the extended warranty. The opposite of the sales team. Simply because his experience in this decade with this vehicle shows. They simply DONT BREAK DOWN,,,
I sometimes think the problem with the gs is that it was such a good car that most people with them never feel a need get a new one. My 15 has 105000, and I just have a hard time justifying getting anything else.
Good point
As always, thanks for the review! The old infotainment, old "slow-to-read music" USB ports, and other non-updated items made me go with the new ES instead. The rear of the 4gen GS is still beautiful!
Yep! Congratulations on your new ES!
I want rush out to my near by lexus dealership and buy one just to keep it alive
This one is for sale 😋
Kirk Kreifels for how much ?
www.lexusofomaha.com/new-Omaha-2020-Lexus-+-GS+350+F+SPORT-JTHEZ1CL3LA012177
So what's stopping you?
Well. I have a 2008 Lexus ES 350 I just purchased. So I can't wait to buy a 2018 in a ten years in the used markets. Lexus and Toyota cars dont die and are incredibly well made !
Congratulations on your new car 🥳
You were so right - This happens to be the last GS. At least you guys have it in the states.
This videos quality is crazy
Thanks man!
Hope toyota dnt kill the g.s line..its a legend king toyota..
My 06 GS300 always gets people thinking it’s a newer car when they’re inside lol
Facts!!!! people always ask what year my car is and i say its an 06 they're like damn i thought it was a bew car
fax
Second-generation GS was King. I like the way they offered different choices between v6 and V8 back then. And if I remember correctly they sold them as fast as they could make them. All these years later it's still looks great too. I will be very sad to see the GS go the way of the dodo
Thanks for chiming in. Sad days for the GS ahead barring a miracle.
@@KirkKreifels do you think that also includes the GSF or will they keep it around
Keep it. Add some power and update the rear. Then updated the infotainment and add panoramic roof. This would make it marketable to all others. The new Acura TL Type S is coming out with a NSX modified engine pushing over 350hp.
That sounds awesome!
It will happen in 2021 for a 2022 model year 🤞
Its a real shame if they discontinue the GS line.
Yes that's my feeling. They might bring it back sort of like the Camaro.
I know this is an older video but just wanted to say thank you for this review.. I'm looking for a used car I prefer Japanese cars... made in Japan cars.. so this video helped. Hope Lexus doesn't pull the plug but in the current market I could see it happening. :/ Crazy how good cars never make it over here.. maddening. Anyway.. thanks :)
It appears as if Lexus has done absolutely nothing different from last year's GS model...and I still want it!
Nor is it any different than a 2016! :D
I miss
The excellent customer service at a Lexus Dealership. It’s not the same as going into a hyundai dealership.
Great testimony. Lexus service is the best for sure.
It has been a pleasure to drive 2006 GS300.
I will be sad to see this car go as I’ve been a fan of it since 1998! I think the huge reason for low sales is because the V8 option for a non-F model has been taken away many years ago. This car has everything except the competitive performance of BMW.
GSF
Wow, a young kirk!
Kirk Kreifels
I am getting a ‘19 in the liquid platinum. The reason this car is so much better than the ES is because it’s designed as a rear wheel drive rather than front wheel drive (even though it has AWD). From a handling perspective, RWD bias is where it’s at, IMO.
No doubt! Have fun in your awesome GS
Not just that it's RWD, it's front suspension is a classic (and rare nowadays) double wishbone design. Back in the 90s, most Honda and Acura cars had it, along with many others. In 2019, only select high end cars have double wishbone.
Pube83 Good to know. I haven’t researched that aspect. I just know it will be much more reliable than a BMW 5 Series.
I think it's the BEST in it's category, thanks Kirk for this nice video.
Thank you for watching
I would!
@YungGBone124127134 Exactly! being average isn't going to cut it anymore , step up or move to the side.
I admit a fastback design would be nice. Something to compete with the Panamera, Mercedes GT, Audi A7. With the same wheels on the LC 500.
@YungGBone124127134They are the leader of reliability so now if they can make an incredible exterior!
@YungGBone124127134 They clearly have to know how to pull it off. The same engine in the LFA OMG! But i really think theyre brewing up something. I love the look of the 2013 Mercedes CLS but those cars are money pits so I wouldn't buy one.
They were on the right track with the 3rd generation. It really had that "4 door coupe" mystique surrounding it
Whoohoo I watched this video 4x. And I have one the 18 GS F sport. I was at the wedding , but not going to the funeral. I either keep this one or if am lucky enough to get the last of the 2020’s. Atomic Silver is smoking
Can you give us any info on the limited edition Black line GS . I know there are only 200 being made. But no word Thanks
Just bought my wife a 2015 F Sport. Absolutely love the car.
Congratulations 🎉
Hope to own a GS one day
I currently own a 2017 IS200t F-Sport & thinking about upgrading to a GS350 in the future.
Yes a great Lexus; Love my GS 350, 2018. Caviar.
Great video, thanks for sharing! (secretly still surprised it is still in production in the US after being cancelled over here) I do like that spec/colour!
PS MERRY CHRISTMAS from Scotland!!
Merry Christmas from Nebraska!
Amazing quality car it’s worth every penny
I always liked the GS. My IS is a little small.
I'm hoping we get a version of the Toyota Crown as the new IS to bridge the gap. Im personally holding out to see how big the next IS is before I buy a new car. It'll be that or the new TLX type S.
Well the IS is a compact vehicle. GS is bigger than full size ES
Johnny Lomeli There’s something about the boat luxury cars. Love how nimble the IS can be, but an LS or GS would be awesome.
Marty Motoring agreed. I always take 2nd looks when I see one on the street
I have a 2015 GS sport and wowww I love it
i own a gs 450 h since 2016. its the best car i owned in 4 decades, better than any german premium car. i ll drive the gs 450 as long as possible.
I have GS300 (2018.10)
GS IS NOT BAD !
GS is lovely
It would be cool if lexus made the GS an all electric car that would compete with Tesla and the Mach E, etc. And I kind of like the idea of a fast-back GS that would be interesting also
Sounds tempting!
Or they have a lousy sale pitch to transplant the GS owners .That won’t work
Hey at 1:40 "newest Lexus Headlight" => is this newest triple beam headlight available on the 19 ES 350?
Welp, just bought a used 2013 Lexus GS 350 w/luxury package! Might get another GS (2014 - 2016) later in the future. These vehicles may become collectors items later on.. we shall see!!
I am sure this is a wonderful car and a technological marvel. But for me, the first two generations are my favorites.
I have 2008 rwd gs350, this car is epic .... I insanely fast ... with 2GR-FSE engine
So where do I get this for my “new” Lexus? thanks!
@@lifeisgood7762

Michael Rafael Thanks! I’m on it!
Really miss my 2013 F sport, had to sell because bouncing overseas,
Still miss it big time!
Unfortunately I think they are getting rid of the GS...but it's such a great car!! Especially the F-package!! Awesome video👍👍
2016+ are all basically the same. I personally like the 2015 f sport model the best
I believe it will be revived with a new design in the late 2020s
I have a ultrasonic blue mica 2.0 on order and it will be ready in March! Although it is a lease, I may consider buying it out if they do discontinue it. I cant wait!
Congratulations 🎉 we have one coming in soon. I can't wait to see it.
The GS can most definitely be reseructed
The current gen although so old is only missing modern tech
It looks like it's a new design inside out it means when it came out it was and is a really good vehicle
The gs450h was definlty ahead of its time as it was a perfromcne hybrid rather than economy and now is the time for that
The only thing that has to happen with the GS is new technology
A plug in in performance hybrid as well as a good turbo engine
With latest tech similar to es,ls and latest rx
Well said!
I am trying to bring in that paddle shifter into my living room. Because sometimes I just don’t like to let it go
I just bought a slightly used 2014 GS 350 with 50k miles!
You were correct about lexus killing this vehicle. It is what it is. I will buy one this year or the next
Love my 2008
Gotta have one before it goes away
Lexus should really pay Kirk commissions for these videos.
Kirk Kreifels Thanks for posting.
Thanks for watching 😊
Love my Lexus GS 350 F sport. This car has such an elegant interior, smooth ride, and ample hp. I cant imagine Lexus stopping production of this car. This is the most sporty car they have. It would be a big mistake to do this. The Lexus ES looks reminds me too much of a camry and the IS is too small.
Redesign turbocharged V6 and make into a Fastback.
PlugIn Hbrid version with bigger or second e-motor should be good for 450hp easily.. RAV4PLugIn cranks out 302hp with only the 2.5ltr !
If you drive between 65 - 75 mph with the GS, you get 250 to 260 miles on half a tank. At 80-85 mph, u get 213 miles to half a tank.
Worst mistake Lexus ever did was discontinue the gs ..they should of scraped that es it’s all show and no go…
The ES is their second-highest selling model before the RX, It makes zero sense to discontinue it.
I never understood the difference between the GS and the ES other than the GS is RWD. The GS doesn't have more bells and whistles than the ES?
Awesome car. Very small fuel tank though. I get 13 mpg on my 2013 GS350 AWD in cold winter city driving mostly and 17 mpg in summer.
