This is a great collaboration between Home Free & The Oak Ridge Boys. "Elvira" was a huge hit for The Oakridge Boys in 1981. You can see the great respect these 2 groups have for each other. The Oakridge Boys are mentors to Home Free & it is like they are passing the baton to a younger version of themselves. They have performed together on the Grand Ole Opry. Adam Rupp's vocal percussion is the best in the business. He can simulate drums & any other sounds perfectly. Home Free is my favorite a cappella group. They are so talented yet very humble guys.

This is so good. They do a live song at Christmas with the Oaks called Beautiful Star of Bethlehem. When Home Free does Elvira in concert, Tim (bass)has lots of fun with the audience and goes really low. Adam is an incredible beatboxer and can do all kinds of sounds too. Good reaction! To hear more bass, try I Can’t Outrun You, Brothers in Arms, In the Blood, Yours. Chance (newest member not in this video) just wrote a new song called Skull and Bones written for a pirate game. There’s a lyric video and a short live version for the Ubisoft crowd and Tim goes really low. 😍😄

This was prerecorded. As everyone’s music videos are. And they do use normal post production techniques to balance the sounds. It’s always going to sound different than the live versions. They do this in concert a lot, as it’s fun for the audience, and they play up the bass to get a reaction.
I’m hoping one day they do tackle both a Gordon Lightfoot song and something by Bob Seger.
They did cover Crosby, Stills and Nash’s “Helplessly Hoping”. Stripped out all the guitar, so it’s just harmony.
Adam Rupp is key to so many Home Free songs. I like him in the Doobie Brothers, “Listen to the Music” and a recent original song from them “Playing with Fire”.

The Oak Ridge Boys are legendary - Home Free has another collaboration with them (taped live) "Beautiful Star of Bethlehem". The singing, harmonies & beatboxing are terrific - they always are. You really need to watch one of the live videos. I'd recommend "Timeless with special dancer" ruclips.net/video/w_PwIH6LhJs/видео.htmlsi=CttwpaH5xjerOeB_- I guarantee your face will hurt from smiling.

All vocal percussion courtesy of the incomparable Adam Rupp!
This really gives me the sense of "Home Free Past" meeting "Oak Ridge Boys future".
The ORB's bass, Richard Sterban, sang bass for Elvis Presley early in his career. Home Free definitely collaborated with true country legends on this song--and I LOVE this collaboration❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️

This is such a fun one. They all sound so good together. There is at least one video of them doing this live at the Grand Ole Opry. Very fun.

Tim Foust the bass while growing up want to be Richard Sterban the bass from The Oak Ridge Boys. The Oak Ridge Boys are mentors to Home Free now. They have song with them many times. Enjoyed watching your reaction to this song.

The Oak Ridge Boys always remind me of my dad! He was the lead in a gospel quartet until he passed, and loved them! ❤

I believe the Oak Ridge Boys t-shirt that Austin is wearing was the same one he wore to an Oak Ridge Boys concert when he was younger. Its now framed and hanging in his house. Enjoyed your reaction and lip-syncing😊

It's all vocals. Of course there are studio enhancements when any person is recording in a studio, but this is why you should check out some concert footage. It's not as good as seeing them live of course because some audience member's camera phones audio is not great, but if you get a good clip, it shows you what they can do live as well. I mean I've been to their concerts and it's still hard to believe what they can do vocally, but yes I'd say to check out some in concert footage of Adam beatboxing.
