The Oak Ridge Boys is an American country and gospel vocal quartet. The group was founded in the 1940s as the Oak Ridge Quartet. They became popular in southern gospel during the 1950s. As a kid I became a oakridgeboys fan. Richard Sterban was a big part of it because of deep voice. I went to a Christmas concert of theirs about 5 years ago with my parents I was amazed to see kids to young adults to senior citizens enjoying them, they still sound great.
