    We just did spark plugs, a coil pack (Bosch) @ #4, and an injector (Bosch) @ #4 due to a full on dead miss at that cylinder. It took two tear downs due to a fuel leak @ #6; pinched upper Oring, we replaced it. Something we figured out to do to prevent more work on the fuel system was we got the fuel rail reattached and then reconnected the battery and turned the ignition on and let the fuel pump load the system and looked for leaks and we were good. We put everything back together and couldn’t believe how well it run. Thanks for the video.

    Thanks for the video. I'm getting ready to do the same thing this weekend and hoping it goes as smooth for me. The tips and insight that you both provided are greatly appreciated. Thanks again! (Special word of thanks, I almost purchased non MOPAR injectors, after heeding your advice I spent the extra coin and got the MOPAR injectors - Thanks Brothers!)

      Thank you very much for your fantastic comment. And yes, I’m not sure what the difference between the factory injector and the aftermarket is but you will have far less problem using the factory injector. We found out the hard way. Good luck take your time don’t rush yourself and have you towels there because you willleak fuel even when you try to be as careful as possible. Best wishes thank you again.

  • @zeek3408
    @zeek3408 4 года назад +3

    This is how I took The clips on the fuel injectors once I tried pulling on one and broke the red tab lol . Once the rails are off l then you pull the injector out of the manifold while still connected you can push the red clips from the bottom instead of trying to pull the tab up I pushed it with a small flathead.

    I wonder if you really need that foam insulation stuff in the engine compartment. The 3.6 runs on the hot side so it seems anything you can do to keep it cooler would help and having that sound deadening foam would raise the temp in the engine compartment i would think.

      I'm currently having a P0172 (System Bank 1 too rich) and P0300 (random cylinder misfires) code on my 2016 Jeep Wrangler Hard Rock Rubicon. I've owned it brand new and have had all of the required maintenance done it. Only have 39k miles on it. I'm not a happy camper. My 2013 needed a new water pump at 9k miles. This Rubicon needed a new torque converter at 24k miles. Unreal.

    • @RizandMe
      @RizandMe  9 месяцев назад +1

      Well start with the unplugging of the fuel line 1st and moving it to the side. You are going to have some residual fuel in the rail there where the injector is, but it will not be near as much if you unplug the fuel line 1st before you start anything.
