Well if he wasn't going to do it right then he was smart because if youndont don't right then but leave it off. You might lose it before you do the job or even lose a nut or anything. If I take anything off i put it back on unless I'm doing the replacement right then if not always put the thing back together with all nits secured because if bot by the time you do it and then go back you can't finrmd the civet or the nits that fasten it down. But that's me do as you do but when you lose it or fasteners you'll be in posdobltmote trouble than before

Hi, my car lost power becasue of this and got it diagnosed at my local garage and they said the spark plugs are fine and they even changed them around and it was still number 4. They said it was the ECU, i went and started it up and let it idle for over 5 min and everything was fine. I didn't drive it as it failed it's MOT anyways but that's beside the point. So, what might it be as i dont want to spend loads of money and fiat quoted me nearly 1K for part and labour all that BS
I need your help please, I have a 2012 jeep patriot I been having a cylinder #4 issues, I install new spark plugs and i switch coils and injectors to differents positions and when I disconnect coils and injectors # 1,2 and 3 the iddle changes and with the #4 nothing change, I did a compression and #4=190 #3=160 #2=190 #1=180 any ideas? Thanks
Yes it does .. I know this is probably really late but I just figure my problem out and I got a p0304 code and the check engine light does blink .. it’s because that code means it’s causing misfiring
Late or not I like the reply. Ty. I fixed mine by getting new spark plugs put in. Was going to do the full Injectors next but I didn't have to even tho I am still eating up a lot of full atm

I’m glad it worked out. mines unfortunately did not fix w new spark plugs so we’re going to test the ignition coils tomorrow by switching them out and see if it moves w it .. I’m praying it does bc anything else is Gona be a lot pricier and more difficult to fix .. to fix anything w the fuel I gotta take out my whole trunk carpet and my back seat since they decided to place it right in between the both.. it’s even worse bc I got a new (used) engine put in 2 weeks ago and already got to fix something
And what happens if you switch the bad coil and put a new one. And keeps appearing the same code p0304?? Little help... you think i have to replace the fuel injector #4??

Good day, thank you for the video. I was wondering if you happened to know, what is the difference between check engine codes p0304 and p0304p? My 2004 base model Pontiac Vibe has both of these error codes (as well as p0354, p0354p and p0420), even after swapping ignition coils and replacing spark plugs. So the problem has remained on cylinder 4... so not the ignition coil or spark plugs. When I unclip #4 wiring (with the vehicle running), nothing changes. When I unclip the other 3, one at a time, the engine idle clearly changes and decreases as expected. I wonder if this indicates a fault in the wiring, or could it still be the fuel injector or something else... I appreciate your video. Cheers! Laura
To my knowledge there is no difference between the P0304 and the P0304p. As for the P0354 that indicates you may have a faulty ignition coil on that cylinder aswell.The P0420 is the scary one because it indicates a problem with Catalytic Converter system. Have you tried swapping the coils? If not do that first 👍
@@Singleturbocobra thank you for the advice. Turns out, after new spark plugs the blinking check engine stopped blinking and then went out altogether after a short test drive. No codes anymore so I'm tentatively hopeful it's resolved. Thanks again.
I have a 2014 chevy cruze .My car engine shake under red light but runs smooth.I took it to a mechanic shop i m told the Cylinder 4 is weak but they refuse to fix it they want me to replace the whole engine.

@Singleturbocobra Hey, thanks for replying. It's a two thousand eighteen toyota camry SE. 4 cylinder. I already swapped the coils. Remove the check engine light, drove it and the Check engine light came back on again for the same four cylinder misfire.

I have a P0304 Misfire but I just recently got all my ignition coils, & spark plugs changed & tested however, my check engine light isn’t blinking.
I have the same code. Is it ok if I drive it for a day with this code

Does this also cause a tick noise ? I have that code on a yuckon and passenger side makes a tiking noise
On a Yukon. In my experience the tick is a failing lifter.

@Singleturbocobra yes, all fuel injectors codes and #1,#3 and #4 ignition coils and misfire on #4

I would do a compression check next.If compression is good.Id definitely do a fuel injector

So the light won't reset automatically? You have to clear it out with the scan tool for it to go away?

Good but show us the rest how to troubleshoot shoot it completely like you said might be injectors or vaccum leak
Mine is not changing still get p0304 and have changed all spark plugs also !!!! What else it could be?

That's right firing order is 1-3-4-2
If you have spark plug problem this test not work
Same test.Just swap plugs in the cylinders.
too bad my caravan has a coil pack, not indvidual coils.
My 4 cylinder only misfires during start and stopped on drive.
