- Just when I think I've got things figured out . . . nope. Not sure I ever had a low pressure oil problem. But maybe. Definitely a high pressure problem though.

I have forscan for my 2018 f350 6.7 powerstroke. It is a great tool for sure. The 6.0 powerstroke sounds good, and when the issues it does have been fixed, they are a great motor.
Agreed. It's been a great truck. The 6.7's are great!
Not only will the valve not have been pushed correctly, but that spring and ball act as a check valve, when the filter is in place, and cap on, oil cannot leave the filter housing. When you release, it allows the oil to flow back to the engine. and the filter to be removed cleanly. Great Video!
Awesome sir. Thanks for the comment and for watching! Hope you guys are doing great!!
The truck sounds great!
What pipes did you from the downpipes all the way back ? I have high flow muffler with original diameter pipe ... the turbo whine is too loud for me .
Thanks! I have a 4" down pipe, 5" from there back to the muffler and then to the back. It's a diamond eye kit.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. I bought a truck with the exact same issue and that spring part is missing. Why are people taking them off? Crazy! Could you tell me where you purchased that spring part? Thanks again
I got it at advance Auto or Auto zone. Thanks for watching!!
When I had lifters fail there was needle bearings in that relief valve
That's scary. Did you year it down? Rebuild?
Thinking your ICP has failed open. Low pressure oil feeds the HPOP and ICP controls injector pressure from there.
We verified the ICP was good. Ended up being a leak in the hp oil system. My mechanic took care of it under warranty.
Our stories are quite similar except that I’m inferior to you by far! Dad was never into anything mechanical, learned a touch of basic maintenance in the army and now really trying to do my 6.0 work with RUclips 😂
Thanks for watching. That's the way to do it. I love the RUclips community for that.
My 2094 is having the same issues. While driving it would shut off and I have to wait about 30 minutes before it will crank up. Some time hard to start. Dude your 6.0 shut off while driving
Thanks for watching. Mine never stopped while it was running. Just wouldn't start when hot.
I figured you were from the future with a 2094.
I’m doing a 6.0 egr and oil cooler right now, and mine is missing that spring and top to? The truck ran good but had steam and coolant dripping out of the exhaust.
Wow! That's no good. Do you have chocolate milk in the degas bottle? That was a mess when my oil cooler went.
I think the next time my truck dies via oil pressure, I may rip it apart? I have a less than 50k on my oil pump and IPR, maybe I will take off the valve covers, redo injector seals, stans, and gasket of valve cover. I think I am covered on the fuel with a newish pump, FICM (via Diesel Tech Ron, RIP), blue spring.
Just got mine back from the shop. I'll do an update soon.
IPR screen clogged? or Stand pipe/Dummy plug o-ring's are toast.. sounds like you need a 6.4 starter, Mine literally starts in under 2 seconds.. (2005 6.0)
It was orings in the hp oil system. I've got weak batteries that need to be replaced. I'll check into the 6.4 starter. Thanks for watching.
What gauge is that on top of your fuel filter cap?
That's a pressure gauge that I got off of Amazon. 0 - 100 psi I think. www.amazon.com/dp/B0C366DKFL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I do not reuse an oil filter . Once wet it can twist a bit when screwing oil cap on. If so it will cause it to be shorter & may bypass rather than filter.
your not building pressure from the low pressure side.
Seems to be.. he got absolutely nothing on that long crank.
It was making low pressure oil. Ended up being leaks in the high pressure oil system. My mechanic took care of it under warranty.
Typo: my 2004 6.0
Im not a mechanic either but I do work on all my own vehicles. Mechanic every garage here Will F U sideways. Charge things they never fixed. An cause issue so you come back.
Definitely. I try to do as much as I can and have time to. I'm thankful for my local mechanic. They have a million mile warranty. They have stood beside it multiple times for me. I've dealt with sooooo many bad shops though.
@@paggrerecently my truck needed an alignment and my wife to take it the guy was there not even 10 minutes and told her he's got 3500 worth of the repair for stuff that was already done by insurance co month prior.
@@Andrew-ju4be ugh. That kind of thing sucks.
im not a gynocologist but ill take a look at it
I would just get rid of the ford
Very tempting at times. Had a Dodge before this. Guess I'll have to try GM next time.
Typical power stroke FORD… enjoy. Go import a tundra diesel from Japan
No! powerstroke is the way to go
No thanks I'm good. Could go Fummins I suppose.
Lmao, and then what? Drive your toyota to the gay bar?
@@bored2death4404 haha to Joe Bidens PHag flag party maybe 🤔
Can’t argue with going with powerstroke or Cummins both great trucks I love my 6.7 power stroke I have a 160k happy miles on my baby my brother has 2018 3500 dully Cummins he tows with and that thing now has 400k went through one transmission but I think that was because he use to overload his rig and going up the grapevine in California is like a truck death sentence
Come on guy😡 you went through all that to keep the dirty ass filter 😳🤷🏿♂️. Any parts store has it , replace that filter
It's about 1000 miles until an oil change. I'll take care of it then.
