Another moment of terrible marshals and staff (this was at teamsport Sheffield), is when I crashed into the barrier at around 15-20 mph by turning in too early. They didn’t even show a yellow or red flag. To make matters worse, I also came dead last in that race because it took about 4-5 minutes to get my kart out of the barrier, completely ruining my race. Edit: it took 4-5 minutes for them to come but only about 1 minute to get me back on track and do a kart inspection

To be fair, you’ll often get black flagged if it’s clear you’re having difficulty controlling the kart or if you’re trying to drive it beyond the limit
Pfff, this is why I will never go to one of these team sport places. Get yourself to a decent outdoor track, not only are they more fun, but the staff that run them are on the whole more professional.
They are decent helmets, not the best but they arent too expensive. HJC are probably better quality but might be a little more. Also all helmets they sell are road legal, so if you wanted get a bike or something bam you got a helmet for two things now.

Wow, if you know the bloke in front of you, he’s leaning the wrong way into corners. The idea is to transfer the weight to the outside edge of the tyres so they grip up. Not the inside tyres lmao.
O and never do it in hairpins, sweeping corners only. Hairpins try keep the kart stable stay still, on exit lean over the back of the kart and get your weight over the wheels for better grip off the corner.
@@whracing I did read what you said the first time, that's why I had questions. Surely the reason why the outside tyres are loaded in sweeping corners is because you are pushed to the outside of the kart. In order to keep all tyres more evenly loaded, surely you'd want to lean towards the corner?
The girl in front should have been blue flagged. Clearly holding up the 2 faster drivers behind leading to excessive contact. It appeared that you had to brake or swerve to avoid contact several times
