Time to address all of these comments 6 months on. I apologise to anyone if this video has offended you in any way shape or form. In this video i was 13 and had been doing karting for just under a year so i was lacking a bit of race craft, this has mostly changed now. I have been working on my on track aggression and i am barely making moves like this anymore. Once again i apologise.
A thing I’ve learned from driving with much slower drivers is that they never check their surroundings and will only look forwards. Therefore moves down the inside rarely work with worse drivers as they will just completely wedge you into the wall. There obviously was a few moments in the session where incidents were your fault but when people are this slow and you’re going at a fast pace you’re obviously not going to just sit behind them for ages when they’re taking a ridiculous line and leaving no room. In these circumstances you do have to go for more risky moves which can involve a bit of contact. Either way it’s better that you improved your race craft because it makes the sessions more fun for everyone and you don’t risk getting black flagged or dq for something not ur fault at all.
You need to relax a bit, throwing a hissy fit because people aren't as good as you isn't gonna get you anywhere. It's a public session they have just as much right to be there as you do
@@masonsmainlineroblox He has zero patience, just wants to ram them to get an overtake. Do that with a car that suffers from damage and see where it gets him. He doesn't know how to overtake, and not once when I've been to a TS track have they said stay to the outside. They're open sessions, mixed skill.
There was space and they were overlapping. You can tell by the way they crash. They got spun out from the back because they cut in when they were supposed to leave room. That meant their rear bumper made contact with his front spinning them out. If bro was making moves that weren’t there things would’ve looked way different.
That’s like going to a public track day and not expecting to encounter any slower moving cars or traffic. If you drive with this mindset on a track day there would be a crash.

***** traffic paradise! (c) Yuki Tsunoda Talking more seriously, this is what rental karting is all about. There are newbies. There are kids. There are girls. There are families. I find people getting annoyed at members of the public because they're slow absolutely ridiculous. If you don't want to deal with people who are slower because you want to get lap records, then don't go to events where slow people are allowed to race. You don't have a right to get angry at them, and if you can't overtake them cleanly when you're so much faster than them, that's your own issue, not theirs.
We’re karting drivers and if we drive fast, move out the way, don’t turn in like we are not there otherwise you’ll get hirt and black flagged, there should be different classes for different types of drivers, for example, slow for rookies, medium for ok drivers and fast for experienced drivers. They shouldn’t be all on the track at the same time. It’s dangerous. So don’t blame us blame the karting companies or the public themselves for not knowing what they are going into. 😤

5:41 I have no idea what gap you thought you were going for, and then throwing your hands up like you weren't completely to blame for it. 7:40, that was 100% your fault, that was never on. This is a video of how not to behave on a kart track around slower drivers. You may think you're good. You're not.
Do you want an honest opinion from a karting coach? Rough driving with 2 pedals is the first sign of a lazy karting driver who does not want to learn how to use them correctly. But you keep your hands on the steering wheel correctly, this indicates good advanced experience. Racing rage and judgments about slow vacationers are clearly inappropriate in a rental race. Go to club racing bro if you think too highly of yourself.
I'm still a student at karting and I think he had errors in judgment which caused collisions or accidents. For example, at 5:40-5:48, the uploader has made an error by not slowing down even if it's clear that there won't enough space for him to squeeze through. In 6:40-6:44, kart 13 driver just overtook a slow driver while having an ample space to do so. In 7:37-7:40, like many people commented here, is the video uploader's fault, but he didn't admit it. If I'm not mistaken, overtaking drivers still have the responsibility that they're going to overtake safely. Correct me if I'm wrong though. I think he was also driving quite dangerously. I don't like how he gets angry at beginners in a race which has casual drivers. Everyone started as a beginner.
you do realise that the people you where racing where in kid karts. there's no need for a reaction like that and its not even as though your particularly fast
Sorry for you but the big problem here is you, i can understand your frustation that you was not able to improve your time because of traffic, it already happened to me but your to keep yourself calm and keep in mind that you're on a public session with people that have variable level, there's beginner who want to learn and some other who are there for fun. You need to adapt your driving to them. Don't overtake like they know you're gonna pass there, they don't have the same level, reaction, reflex and don't think the same as you.
I remember when I was learning to golf and got bitchedcout by a guy behind me because I wasn't good enough. Turned me off. Never golfed again. Take your attitude and stick it you know where.
If you don't want to deal with beginners then book a members session. People have to start somewhere and this is what these sessions are designed for. You need to calm down a bit if I'm being honest.
Yo, not everybody goes there to set lap records. Some people are just trying to enjoy some chill driving. If you want, there is definitely an option to rent the track for you only.
I get being frustrated by slow traffic, but that's comes with the territory of rental karts. And on top of that, your frustrations boiled over into some really stupid moves that are not even rookie mistakes. 5:42 for example, that move was never on in a million years. When she's going that slowly, always go around the outside. You seem to go karting often enough to know that, yet you threw your hands up like it was her fault. And again 6:44. You "seriously have no clue" alright. He was passing a slow kart on his left, whilst still ensuring said kart had room at the corner. You're the one trying to make the move on the inside from behind, it's on YOU to pass safely. Also 7:40. "I have no clue whose fault that was". Yes you do. You know it was yours - for the same reason as with the little girl. But your pride won't let you admit it. I'd give kudos for uploading a video of terrible driving. Even great drivers make terrible mistakes and it's how we learn etc. You could have posted this as a masterclass at how frustrations on-track can lead to some really shitty driving (because that can and does happen a LOT in karting). But looking at the captions, you refuse to acknowledge any fault with your driving, and everything was someone else's fault. So we can't even pretend this was an introspective into a bad day on track.

i get this because im usually the quickest person there but you cannot be like that, there are people going for the first time and young kids out there. if youre not happy you can leave the session like you did, that was the correct thing to do so well done for that :). but you (not aimed at you in the video, just anyone) cannot be arrogant as to think people should move, they (in the video) are not purposely being unsafe and it's an OPEN ARRIVE AND DRIVE session. like i said, i understand and i'd be lying if i said this wasn't me a few times. good insight video though!
Also no offence but on my experience people who rage quit won’t be nearly as good because anything is a learning moment that session could have been just learning how to deal with back markers or even thinking ohh that could be a place to overtake just don’t ragequit
I know how frustrating it can get when you're unable to practice in getting good laps because of slow drivers, but come on, this isn't a competition, many are casual and beginner drivers. Since this is rental, they paid to race the karts just like you did. If you want to practice, then practice during lean times when there are most likely to have no other people, that's why during my lecture/instructional karting sessions, my instructor often suggested times when there are mostly no other people. Besides, overtaking others is part of the race.

@@captainross4706 Here's a cheeky fact about that second session, 3 of us were complete beginners. I'm not personally surprised that if someone is a regular karter and end up on grids like that, they're going to find it annoying. It's a public session so it just comes with that territory. I guess that's just something that get's forgotten about sometimes.
At frame @01:41 is what you see ALLLL the time. Reason? They never think of what's behind them. They are just tossing the cart around because it's fun and they can't drive as they are novices. They don't know "If you are slower?" DO NOT HIT OR BLOCK THE APEX!!!" Go wide... Also? If you hear a cart coming behind you fast and loud? DO NOT try and "avoid" the cart behind you by sharply turning out of the way because you think they will run you over. When in fact it is the second/passing pilots responsibility to miss you. Meaning they will never run you over unless you hog the apexes or try to "get out of the way" instead of a smooth line. Understand if you spin out or get ran over it could paralyze you for life. Even kill you. Getting T-Boned in a cart. Think about that. A 20-50 MPH cart+pilot runs you over with the breaks squealing the whole way to a stop. Remember...You signed a waiver. Someone gets road rage for payback? Sorry Charlie. Again @05:42 you'll see the novice cares nothing about what's behind him. Even though They KNOW he's there because they started together after the yellow. As if the cart behind them is slower? Or vanished entirely? Or usually, simply to cut off the apex for the drive they know will pass them otherwise. This is the kinda shit novices who are ignorant to the fact that peoples lives are in carts that go 50+ MPH. They make them idiot proof as much as possible. But I've seen people taken away on boards. It's ALWAYS the novice. Every time. Because actually racers are not one bit ignorant about safety. Which is why you don't see novices getting junked by the real drivers. Seasoned racers could easily take them out. Instead, we cuss a lot. Again @06:44 the novice flippin' KNOWS you are there, yet forgets you are there and decides to "block" @04:42 these are decisions novices make. That's what I think happened there. You almost have to expect getting "squeezed" because novices think blocking is the way to winning. They do not understand. A session is 10-15 minutes. How many minutes are you going to block for? Everyone for 15 minutes? But yeah, that's what you "ran into" there. @07:12 This is the difference between two intermediate to semi pro amature pilots. The person in front of you is not looking at the person directly in front of them. Their eyes are looking back to see if you or anyone else are close. THAT is good racecraft. So now he knows he's being chased and HAS to get by the cart in front of him ASAP before you close the distance and make it a 3 car derby. @07:16 he gives you the apex seeing as how you both arrived and you clearly had more speed. That was because that pilot had used the corner as a rearview mirror. @07:19 he continues to race you clean. The guy in front of you both is slow. You made a mistake not anticipating a clean corner apex and clipped it, or lifted there and/or cut it too sharp. He rolled the turn on the outside w/nowhere to go himself. Thus his momentum carried him down the fast portion. You blow by Capt. Slow...Set sails for the other guy who seems like he knows a couple things about racecraft...Seems like... Then @07:41 ??? Sweet sweet justice. They try to squeeze you and don't even give you a full cart width. They short change you a full 18"...Minimum 12". That angle is a little wonky but @07:42 you can see it with the leaders hands pointing left trying to cut you off deliberately. His mistake was giving you room to sneak in there because he got what he had coming. IT WAS HIS FAULT! He knew you were there the entire time and he decided to do that, knowing, it's a greasy move. He did the crime, so he did the time. Fun video! I liked and subbied!

i get this because im usually the quickest person there but you cannot be like that, there are people going for the first time and young kids out there. if youre not happy you can leave the session like you did, that was the correct thing to do so well done for that :). but you (not aimed at you in the video, just anyone) cannot be arrogant as to think people should move, they (in the video) are not purposely being unsafe and it's an OPEN ARRIVE AND DRIVE session. like i said, i understand and i'd be lying if i said this wasn't me a few times. good insight video though!
Poor petal, princess didn't have the kart track to herself. Maybe realise you're not the only one on track? Chill out and think of others.
It’s your fault! 😂
getting mad at rentles lol
it's harlow, not sure what you expected mate, most people from harlows mothers are also their sisters if you know what I mean.......................
What do you mean they put you in a sess it looks like a public sess it’s justvluck
U caused the most issues.
So go slow if you see a kart in front
You over drive every time you get a run.
Yeah last Time i go go-karting there was 2 slow kart and the 2 driver were talking i they didn’t move i didn’t wait to a blue flag the flagman was on youtube lol i say: flagman on the phone i won’t get black flag. So i bump 1 butt and they move i smach es the gas pedal and roal away i saw them like 9 times
Mate you carnt moan alot of those overtakes and gaps you went for wasn't there 😂
5:43 was not on... also you're too aggressive on the brakes. and 7;38 was your fault. honestly you got to be better than that. just seen the whole video. that was comical of you
7:41 that was 100% his fault, he saw you
You're racing them but they aren't racing you, isn't that sad?
And if you hit them then is gonna be bad
people like you ruin the experience for first timers
you have a lot of growing up to do
Filmed 7th of april so things have changed and if im the one that needs to grow up then why are u going through my account and only commenting when you see smth you dont like
@@kaykarting
you said you werent dirty so i check out your most popular vid and it’s obvious by the comments u have a bad rep.
if you have matured where is the apology to the people in this session? i don’t hate u im just saying u need to take responsibility for ur actions and address it in a pinned comment
@@andrewgarfield8922 alr thanks man sorry for my aggression. I have toned down my aggression in race a lot, i was 13 in this video and im 14 now so ive toned it down a lot and in most of my other vids my driving is clean
@@kaykartingSee bro? thats all that was needed. good on u for owning up to it
@@andrewgarfield8922 yh man thanks a lot for helping
Bro I hate public sessions they’re so annoying but what I do is look for a session that’s only has 4/5 drivers on
Man in pink car better driver end of….couldn’t pass and make it stick! so to me your just like any other beginner on that track
i get you bro, these slow drivers can get annoying sometimes.
just literally walked out the last 6 laps of my sessions ridiculous they should organise the fastest to leave
pits first
7:41 lol true xD
Can't blame you for getting out of that first session. I understand they are beginners but why are they going that slow? Are they admiring the scenery? lol
I really just could not deal with it m8 tbh cus i had my first session on my own then they randomly decided to put me in a session with people that are 8 seconds slower
You should never EVER Shame people in a public session for being slow, they could be kids, beginners, as long as they are obeying the rules they have as much right to drive and have fun as anyone else.
If you want to race without then, book out the whole track.
Fun video! I liked and subbied!
man stop dickriding some of these people are here for their first time
your a dirty driver
lmfao chill out youre racing against kids, you aint that good
Just a video of an amateur driver causing many accidents... 😒
