It’s about golden child syndrome: The Golden Child is, over time, destined for a moment of breakdown when the hopes invested in it fail to be realised. The Golden Future will, it starts to be clear, never materialise, but a bigger prize awaits: a feeling of liberation from expectations that were always disconnected from reality.
@@JakauYT No, I don’t think it was ever confirmed by Kikuo. He likes to leave his songs up to interpretation. It can be about Golden Child Syndrome or BPD or whatever the audience thinks it’s about, nothing is more correct than the other.
I know the song is about either a cursed necklace or her parents expectations but I have a sort of different interpretation of the song. I believe that it is about a kid that wishes to be perfect in every way. Basically she wishes to be praised for being the most popular and smart student, placing top in all exams. As she grows older, the pressure from trying to be perfect causes her to feel a choking sensation, either out of anxiety or fear. Her mind tries to keep forcing her to be the best that she eventually tries to find a lover to get her free but pushes them away unconsciously. The more she grows, the more the pressure chokes her until finally, like you said, she breaks into a mess of anxiety, fear, and possible depression. This is just my take on it though. It may be too far fetched but it's better than what I could come up with for a story.
she keeps “choking” because the necklace never changes its shape until the curse is broken. so when she finds love, the necklace will be broken. she starts getting anxiety fear etc from the necklace itself. aaaaaaaa
maybe she accidentally abuses her lover? taking out her negative feelings on them, and eventually beginning to hate them as she begins to associate them with her negative feelings but doesn’t want to let go of them out of fear of never finding someone else to love/that loves them? idk lol
this song always reminded me of those kids in school who cry when they get anything but a %100 on an assignment. so personally i think the necklace represents both the expectations she puts on herself and the expectations her parents put on her. like when she was younger it was easier to please them because getting good grades was easy. As school and life became more difficult it became harder and harder to meet those expectations even though the expectations have not changed.
I know smth like that,, I call it SmartChildFucksUp or SCFU when the smart kid kinda unpeaks(?), happens to like literally everyone I know, happened to me twice.
I was told from a really young age that A isn’t enough, that I’ll never be good enough, no one will ever see any accomplishments I make, and that my life is to satisfy others. I got straight A’s and I still had breakdowns, I had to get grades that are higher than A.
I was one of them, I was hit for having B’s so in middle school I broke down after missing a month of school for medical reasons. I panicked and cried during lunch because I felt so lost, being behind and worse, getting a C, I wanted to die. But a week later, my mom finally realized she was pressuring me after all these years and said it’s okay as long as I try my best.
It's so easy to please the adults you love when you're a kid - be cute, a bit smart, and they'll show you around like a perfectly trained puppy. But then you grow up and the criteria for triggering all those "oooh" and "aah" of admiration change and become so much more complex. It's harder and demands more energy to get the same amount of love and praise. In the end you can try to get that from less demanding people, using your charm and smile that made people coo not so long ago - but no love can replace the one you're actually craving. Ultimately, self-love and self acceptance is the key. Listen to people's advice but carve your own path, and remember to praise yourself for the hard work nobody sees or understands :)
As someone who has been listening to Kikuo for a while, I recommend "Don't look at me in that way". It doesn't really sound creepy, but the lyrics are pretty dark even if the song sounds a bit happy. I suggest that if you are going to listen to it, don't read the comments before the video because it spoils the meaning.

i’ve recently fell into the rabbit hole of vocaloids.. so i stumbled upon this video. i think you’re extremely underrated, because you actually kept me engaged in the video. thank you :)
So this song is about good-child syndrome. It's a psychological condition that makes you want to please everyone. She wants to please her parents so she'll do whatever it takes even if it means bodily harm. The necklace represents the expectations that she's trying to fulfill by getting good grades and doing what everyone expects from her. The expectations however, increase with age so the necklace gets tighter and tighter until it starts to choke her which can be seen as a lot of pressure being put on a child. that's why she falls in love with someone that is so "filthy". She wants to be like that person even though they are lesser than her. She needs someone to put pressure on to relieve the choking and pain that she feels.
As a person who has been in that necklace for at least about 4 years, I would agree to this song mostly and it was hard pleasing everybody, I still haven’t broke out of it but it’s tearing up and has a loose end now. Thank you for reacting as well.
@@carmina2581 what they mean is “as another person who has also been suffering/suffocating while trying to please ppl for a long time” so ig a necklace/choker mentally
It's nice watching someone new to vocaloid react to some of the darker stuff and still appreciate it despite it being, well, dark. Also some songs you might like: - Mono wo parapara kowasu - That Happy Child - O Light - Secrets Of Wysteria - The Girl Locked Below - Abstract Nonsense - Dark Woods Circus I could go on forever but these ones are personal favorites.
I think Rolling girl’s another song that has this kind of dark theme (I’m also new to the vocaloid community lol) you should check it out if you want 🤙
I've heard a lot of good theories, especially that it's her parents expectations. But I personally think that shes attention starved and therefore looks for the praise and love she *might* be missing from her parents.
Nope. Not a all. Like fr haha. At the end of the day, this song is an artistic expression of some people’s dark reality, so if you appreciate it, nothings wrong with that at all imo :)
So here’s what i think: It starts off with this girl. I feel her parents are forcing her to be like perfect. I think they’re expecting a lot from her, and she still doesn’t feel loved by them, so she’s trying to be absolutely perfect to make them happy. She starts going a bit off the rails drowning herself in expectations and anxiety as for anything else going on mentally. She is clearly overworking and overwhelming herself with being perfection. To be the perfect child. Later on in high school she is still the best in the school, but somehow she still feels it’s not enough. She is still not being loved or treated with the compassion that she is yearning for. She thinks having the perfect life with fill that empty space, so she is confessing to you, who i assume would be the ideal lover in a cliche movie or anime. So she confesses to you, even though she doesn’t really feel like she loves you and only likes more so the idea of having you as a couple. She assumes that since she has everything, and is so perfect a human, with a perfect life she should be happy, but is confused because she doesn’t feel anything. She assumes this is what she wants or even needs, but she still doesn’t feel the love she’s craving, to fill the void within her. As for the necklace, I believe they relate or use the necklace as a way to describe the expectation or pressure put on her from, starting off as, her parents. The necklace represents the their expectations given to her at a young age. She wears the necklace no matter what, showing that she’s pushing herself to be the best version of herself. The necklace says in the song “I want more people! I want more people!” This to me is to show her feeling like she’s not good enough or needs to be better because of all the pressure and standards forced upon her. She wears this necklace throughout her life, but as she gets older, she begins to outgrow the necklace, however, she still wears it around her neck even though it’s suffocating her. This represents her stress and pressure finally getting to her, but she still not letting it out, or not letting herself take a breath ironically. I believe her having to wear this tight necklace for the rest of her life is what the “curse” is. The phrase “dont bottle up your emotions because sooner or later the lid will break”, or in other variations, “the glass will shatter” plays a role in the plot. Her outgrowing the necklace shows her emotions are piling up and getting worse, which is why the choker keeps getting tighter and suffocating her. She tries to be perfect, hoping that will satisfy her or her loved ones, who are clearly not showing her love, but never does only leaving her wanting more or feeling like she has to do more. Sorry for making you read all that
This song really does accurately show golden child syndrome. I remember when I was little (well the best I can, most memories of my childhood are repressed) my mom would always brag about me and how perfect I was, acing every subject. I had to be perfect since I thought that was all I was good for. But as I grew older, as I became more depressed and more anxious and more angry at her, myself, and the world, my grades slipped. I started getting Bs. Then Cs. Then Ds. Then Fs. Her expectations never lowered (like how the necklace never was loosened) She told me I would be a janitor or a bus driver and that I wouldn't succeed in life. She never bragged about me anymore. Except for my singing. Opera, Chorus, Solos, A cappella. At least I had some use. But I practiced less and less and got yelled at, saying I would never be successful again. It's better with that now. I do what she wants to make her happy. I'm back to As and Bs. Though even though she (sometimes, sometimes she yells, its half and half) says it's fine, I can still see the disappointment in her eyes. Though I miss being her perfect child and being loved that much, I know I'm trying (though it's still not enough for me and her). I have panic attacks over even the possibility of scoring a high B. (TW: Mentioned (not described) S/H, Sui attempt, ED) (Im doing better with those triggering things tho, lots of therapy) I stopped eating to make her happy with my (now I know it was and is again since I got betteraverage) body. Been S/Hing since I was a kid, but I'm clean now. Her face when we were in the hospital when she found a sui note. That hurt more than anything. Didn't get put in a psych ward though. Because even if I'm no longer perfect, she still believed my dumb excuses ("Writing sui notes is a coping mechanism!!", even though thats not the first time Ive said I wanted to do something like that or drawn concerning things) because her child was too good for that, right? But don't worry /srs, I'm doing a lot better by distracting myself, therapy, and constantly seeing friends (or well 3 specific friends but). Just 1 and a half more years til I can leave the house, get into a good college, and prove to her that I'm still good.
A lot of people say this song is about good child syndrome, but personally I read it to be a lot similar to BPD? The need for love so intense it hurts, the need for validation and affection, the second prechorus describes splitting in BPD wonderfully ("Seem like a lie? I like you, you who are so filthy,"). "I'll give you everything, I'll have you shoulder everything for me, it hurts." is a really common BPD experience. Also, the fact it's described as a "curse" is REALLY common throughout people with BPD. I think people are talking the lyric of "nice grades right" and running with it literally, but I think it's a small example of an all encompassing bpd experience (ie, "theyre good right? you like me right? you think im cute?" common bpd need for reassurance..) plus, "you're not enough" BUT "i wont let you go" could further describe the experience of chronic loneliness; and youre put into a standard where regular love doesnt feel fulfilling, since youre so used to mindless obsession and a NEED for love (im saying this as a person w BPD)
My personal favourite interpretation is since necklaces either were or still are made of lead, making both the necklace itself and the paint making it look golden very toxic, so the necklace tightening represents her slowly succumbing to heavy metal poisoning, but she doesn't want to take it off because of the attention she is getting
The song is basically about "Golden Child Syndrome" which basically about a child who is deemed a "prodigy" at a young age or is told that they're "above the rest" as a child by their parents (or any family member). So the child grows up trying to live up to the standard everyone is portraying them as and thats where the "choking" metaphor the artist used comes in. The choking is supposed to represent the stress and disappointment of not living up to the high standards people put you to. Then the "i want more people" metaphor is the child wanting validation from others to make up for not living up to their parents expectations.

I love your reactions to these Japanese songs! I really enjoy the videos you've been uploading and i just want to suggest Wozwald by Niru Kajitsu! It's a pretty interesting song through both video and lyrics, and is even more expressed by the singer Miy_Yuu. Thank you for reacting and listening to these japaense songs!!
i used to listen to this so much when i was 14. i never quite understood the lyrics but the "hey, hey, aren't i a good kid?" lyric stuck out to me and resonated with me.i'm 20 going on 21 this year, and the second interpretation of the song hit me like a truck. it's kind of sad from that lense, how drawn i was to this song and similar songs by kikuo, and i still am drawn to their music because of the lyrical relevance to my own experiences. good video.
Kikou is the vocaloid version of Jack strauber Jack strauber also has similar type songs that sound pretty goofy or funny and sometimes happy But has symbolism and hidden meanings Most of his songs are about depression, addiction and suicide And even dysfunctional relationships Kikou's songs are happy and cheerful but their meanings behind their songs are about Abuse, rape, depression and dysfunctional relationships
Two different stories, 1st - It’s about a ( cursed ) necklace that the person finds and they put it on, as they go on in life. The necklace represents their self-esteem/ego, and the necklace is small and never changes size. Which causes the person to choke, and the only way to break the curse is to find a lover. The self-esteem and ego goes down as they think their efforts will never succeed. And it causes the self esteem and ego to drop specifically to the ground. 2nd - A girl has good child syndrome, and tries to be the best and greatest for their parents to get supported and loved instead of being used everyday. I don’t know much, but as they grow the difficulties of being the greatest for their parents rise and you can’t get the same love as the circumstances and expectations grow and grow.
i personally think that the necklace resembles expectations and love from others, hence "no matter how big you grow the necklace remains small." i believe it means that childish expectations and love don't stay forever, and eventually you will lose the love because you have lost your cuteness. (also it's truly about golden child syndrome, a syndrome children or older people gain because of abusive parents or parents with high expectations, because they feel they have to be perfect. that is a tiny explanation, there is much more to it.)
I feel like a lot of people can have this very unhealthy kinda feeling in a relationship. Where you need and love a person and them leaving you makes you terrified but also angry. I'm scared to admit I have felt this way multiple times, it's to someone I truly cared about, and still do to this day. I thought they were being taken away from me, and my ptsd mixed with my abandonment issues and created this scary monster I kept hidden.
@@shooshiMooshi i- homie- there's the jubypyhonic version and the littlejayneycakes version of this song, jayn is more emotional and true to the song than juby tho
Due to the whole confession bit, I like to think that she’s trying to become perfect to get the attention of her crush, kind of like one of those the bully catches feelings for the victim scenarios. But as she gets more and more “perfect,” the more she looks down on others, which brings about the filthy line. Her crush, being a very modest, kind, and down to earth person, does not enjoy the way she looks down upon others, and it gets to the point where the girl simply demands that they give her the affection she oh so desires, doing her best to convince them that “This is happiness.”
But the entire bit about the ‘I’ll be better than the other kids’ and ‘I’m the best kid in the class aren’t I?’ proves it wrong that it isn’t about crushes. But we can think of it however we want I guess.
Honestly at first I thought this song is about being yandere because of those animation memes and when I decided to watch the original video with subtitles on, it does really looks like being yandere but the comments there made it clear for me. It's about a golden child syndrome. It's about a child lacking for her parent's love and will try and do anything just to reach the perfect expectation of her parents to hers.
Heres my understanding of the song: Its this girl who hates herself, tries to grasp onto anything so she can be perfect "the necklace" is herself telling her to do more and become more "perfect" soon this became torture (sełf h@rming) and she still acted perfect. At the part when it says "standing alone in the yard from me to you confessing my heart" its her telling herself "look im doing good can i stop being perfect now" but she cant stop. She tries to grasp onto anyone who will believe her lies. Inside she was slowly falling apart. So now that he necklace was growing on her choking her ment that she was now reaching her breaking point. Ok ok i ranted, but its my point of veiw.
I relate to this song so much. I grew up with neglectful parents and I often feel like I need to be the best, and to be perfect in order to be loved. And I’ve craved someone to love me just because they can. It’s taken a lot of time and effort for me to slowly let go of that mentality. I still think like that sometimes though.
I reccomend listening to TUYU's songs, they have a happy beat but are about very real mental and real world problems, and i listen to them on a cult like basis lol
I think the girl is a people pleaser and her parents, teachers or other ppl have high expectations for her and she just do as she's told but she can tell that no one actually cares for her, even tho she always put others first to make them happy. So she wants to find ppl who'll love her.Even tho she found some ppl who loves her truly she still doesn't feel like the love she received is enough.
I remember this song! I always took it as a girl who never really received loved and intern tried to be perfect because she believes that’s what love is about, if she’s not perfect then she can’t receive love, but the more loves she receives the more she wants it because love is very beautiful but can also be addicting. Addiction of love is an actual thing that’s not really talked about a lot or understood, people who are addicted to love trying everything they can to receive that love even if it’s hurting others in the process. The “necklace” is her addiction, asking for more and more and without this love, Like what addiction does to many people, affected her and made her desperate, doing reckless things to revive just some amount of love. I actually really like this song because it relates to one of my ocs ( who’s actually a creepypasta oc :/ ) She never really received love as a child and even as an adult ( around her late 20s ) still haven’t. As a child she was addicted to the small amounts of love she received and was desperate for more While she’s not like this as a grown woman if she were to gain a lover then her addiction would come back, asking for more and more love until it suffocates her and break her apart. Essentially love is like a bad thing for my oc, but not because “GRRR I DONT NEED LOVE ITS BAD!!1!1!1!1!” But because of all the psychological trama she’s been though. But yea, I do really like this song
the fact that people dance and stuff to this song when this song is about perfect child syndrome, its not about a yandere. the aishite part is "love me love me love me more and more" 🧍♀️💔
With soundcloud rappers or rappers that aren’t so popular like takayan express human problems and what we deal with everyday. For example, “Takayan - I hate myself” , “Takayan - Killed by period pains and depression” he gets the pain and anxiety of girls and others who hate themselves. Then it levels up and BTS goes to the point to show you to love yourself and speak yourself obviously from their album names and lyrics. Map of the soul is just finding the way to your soul, finding yourself. There is also these meanings in every album and song released by them. You just need to find the meaning. (Btw if you’re looking for the meaning of spring day, literally search up the town/city of Omelas shown in the video and what shoes tied up on a tree means so it will all piece together.)But Kikuo does the same, just on a higher level which means more graphic and true subjects to base on. So really Kikuo is on a higher tier/level for it.
I always thought that the necklace symbolized the attention the girl wants. I thought that she wasn’t getting love and care at home ( aren’t i a good child; cute child; hey look at me) and she eventually started seeking it from other people. The lyrics “ no matter how big your body grows, the necklace stays the same size” could symbolize that she needs more. The tighter it gets, the more attention she wants, which is why she says “better than that kid, better than all of you, hey everyone, look at me” when she eventually finds a love interest, she confesses to him, but he dose not feel the same (this is the part I’m not so sure about), so she calls him filthy. She snaps and that leads to the end of the song. and I’m guessing that she says “this is happiness, right?” At the end of the song, because she has never felt true happiness- thats just what I’ve gotten out of it. Im not so sure about the ending though. :\
I'm so happy there has been a bit more Vocaloid content coming out like these videos. You and ubnubmaster are absolutely my favorites. I've been in the fandom since 2007, and it is so refreshing to see how everyone interprets/reacts to all of these songs and I know and love. Can't wait for more!
Basically the meaning is not enough love from her parents this is by "love me" "am i a good kid" So when she young she was always praised meaning that mental necklace hasnt choked her yet the line: Im growing up its choking me Which means when she is growing up classes is harder i think the necklace will grow looser and looser If she get attention

This is crazy i love this song but its so dark but its crazy how this was a dark but i knew that Aishite meant "love me" but like man i saw the lyrics and it was soo dark.
"Aishite Aishite Aishite" is an original song by Kikuo. This song is about a girl who demands love and attention from other people as an effect of a cursed collar she wears. As she grows up, the collar's effect on her becomes stronger, making her end up feeling unsatisfied and continues to demand more love and attention from others, believing that the people whom she demands from are not enough. Another interpretation is that it is about a girl who wants love from her parents. Her parents want her to do well in school and do not give her the love she so desires. The collar she wears is a symbol of her parents' expectations. As she grows up and her body changes, the collar stays the same size just as what her parents want out of her doesn't change either. This song entered the Hall of Legend on November 24, 2019.
am i the only one who’s experienced this “golden child syndrome” but my parents are good..? like ive always been burdened with the weight of what i thought my parents’ expectations of me were, but theyve never expressed them?? and i have this like instinctual need to please everyone and have everyone like me no matter what but i dont know why?? like where tf did that come from
Ngl I'm kinda the same way lol It's possible your parents were loving but still ended up neglecting you emotionally... I'm pretty sure that's what happened to me, and I didn't even realize until the past couple of years Have your parents ever said you're too sensitive, that you have no reason to cry? Have they gotten angry when you didn't understand why? Have you felt disconnected, misunderstood, unloved by your parents even semi consistently? All those are signs you could've been emotionally neglected (I relate to all of them ;;) Emotional neglect is SO insidious since so many people experience it and it's so invisible. It's hard to trust your gut when it comes to this stuff... But if you did, it's REAL and it happened and no one can take that from you
Didn't see this vid on your channel after I saw your Gomene Gomene reaction, but goddamn, I was also looking for this reaction vid. Looking forward on you to react on more fricked up vocaloid songs 😁
I think the song is about a girl who is neglected: "don't abandon me" in the beginning. She also says "everyone come look at me". My guess is she is trying to make people love her. When she says "people aren't enough" I think she is saying that because no one gives her enough love and she needs more. I think (I am probably wrong) that the necklace is her needing love. when she says "People aren't enough" she is saying she wants more love but because people won't give her that love people aren't enough.
to some vocaloid veterans - anyone remember the title of the song where rin had a garden of fingers? and the song with (i think 3d animation) that kinda represented nightmares and had a lot of tentacles? the last one was very famous in the creepy vocaloid songs list
No one: My friends making fun of me and teasing me because i love this song sm Me: holding my tears inside because they dont know how much my good child syndrome affected me
the song is about golden child syndrome! what is golden child syndrome you may ask?, well hears the answer: Golden Child Syndrome is the long-term effects of growing up as a favorite child of a narcissistic parent. in this family dynamic, the parent showers the child with love and affection but also demands total obedience. Furthermore, they expect the child to be perfect and pin all of the family's hopes and dreams on said child. so, the child is idealized and praised for every accomplishment, however minor. but also, the child is placed in a straitjacket of their parent's expectations.
Ngl but jubyphonic’s English cover is REALLY GOOD probably the only English cover I like of any vocaloid song her vocals go even higher than the original

Or let's just say she have golden child syndrome
she keeps “choking” because the necklace never changes its shape until the curse is broken. so when she finds love, the necklace will be broken. she starts getting anxiety fear etc from the necklace itself. aaaaaaaa
@@aoi5946 that’s exactly it actually, it’s about golden child syndrome
Golden child syndrome...
maybe she accidentally abuses her lover? taking out her negative feelings on them, and eventually beginning to hate them as she begins to associate them with her negative feelings but doesn’t want to let go of them out of fear of never finding someone else to love/that loves them? idk lol
this song always reminded me of those kids in school who cry when they get anything but a %100 on an assignment. so personally i think the necklace represents both the expectations she puts on herself and the expectations her parents put on her. like when she was younger it was easier to please them because getting good grades was easy. As school and life became more difficult it became harder and harder to meet those expectations even though the expectations have not changed.

As a burnt out gifted kid with abandonment issues I understood the song as soon as I read the lyrics
AHH WE ARE ALMOST THE SAMEE 😭😭
I ALSO UNDERSTOOD THE LYRICS XD

So here’s what i think:
It starts off with this girl.
(TW: Mentioned (not described) S/H, Sui attempt, ED) (Im doing better with those triggering things tho, lots of therapy)
I stopped eating to make her happy with my (now I know it was and is again since I got betteraverage) body.

Then the "i want more people" metaphor is the child wanting validation from others to make up for not living up to their parents expectations.

i used to listen to this so much when i was 14. i never quite understood the lyrics but the "hey, hey, aren't i a good kid?" lyric stuck out to me and resonated with me.i'm 20 going on 21 this year, and the second interpretation of the song hit me like a truck. it's kind of sad from that lense, how drawn i was to this song and similar songs by kikuo, and i still am drawn to their music because of the lyrical relevance to my own experiences. good video.
Kikou is the vocaloid version of Jack strauber
Jack strauber also has similar type songs that sound pretty goofy or funny and sometimes happy
But has symbolism and hidden meanings
Most of his songs are about depression, addiction and suicide
And even dysfunctional relationships
Kikou's songs are happy and cheerful but their meanings behind their songs are about
Abuse, rape, depression and dysfunctional relationships
Two different stories,
1st -
It’s about a ( cursed ) necklace that the person finds and they put it on, as they go on in life.
2nd -
A girl has good child syndrome, and tries to be the best and greatest for their parents to get supported and loved instead of being used everyday.

She wanted love , she needed love and she needed that love to be justified to be deserved
(That is what I understand)
Honestly at first I thought this song is about being yandere because of those animation memes and when I decided to watch the original video with subtitles on, it does really looks like being yandere but the comments there made it clear for me. It's about a golden child syndrome. It's about a child lacking for her parent's love and will try and do anything just to reach the perfect expectation of her parents to hers.
I bet everyone was vibin with the song before the knew the real meaning behind it

This song hits home so hard for so many others.
The fact that this is the most relatable Vocaloid song that I’ve ever listened is just, (this hits way too close)
Heres my understanding of the song:
Its this girl who hates herself, tries to grasp onto anything so she can be perfect "the necklace" is herself telling her to do more and become more "perfect" soon this became torture (sełf h@rming) and she still acted perfect.
No one:
Not even a single soul:
Gacha: *Y a n d e r e*
I actually really like this song because it relates to one of my ocs ( who’s actually a creepypasta oc :/ )
She never really received love as a child and even as an adult ( around her late 20s ) still haven’t. As a child she was addicted to the small amounts of love she received and was desperate for more
While she’s not like this as a grown woman if she were to gain a lover then her addiction would come back, asking for more and more love until it suffocates her and break her apart.
I’m honored to have you speak of me in the same sentence as ubnubmaster! Glad you’re enjoying these videos and thank you for watching :))
How BEAUTIFUL ım watching this at midnight :)
Basically the meaning is not enough love from her parents this is by
"love me"
"am i a good kid"
So when she young she was always praised meaning that mental necklace hasnt choked her yet the line:
Im growing up its choking me
Which means when she is growing up classes is harder i think the necklace will grow looser and looser
If she get attention
The song also represents golden child syndrome

It's possible your parents were loving but still ended up neglecting you emotionally... I'm pretty sure that's what happened to me, and I didn't even realize until the past couple of years
Have your parents ever said you're too sensitive, that you have no reason to cry? Have they gotten angry when you didn't understand why? Have you felt disconnected, misunderstood, unloved by your parents even semi consistently? All those are signs you could've been emotionally neglected (I relate to all of them ;;)
Emotional neglect is SO insidious since so many people experience it and it's so invisible. It's hard to trust your gut when it comes to this stuff... But if you did, it's REAL and it happened and no one can take that from you

I think the song is about a girl who is neglected: "don't abandon me" in the beginning. She also says "everyone come look at me". My guess is she is trying to make people love her. When she says "people aren't enough" I think she is saying that because no one gives her enough love and she needs more. I think (I am probably wrong) that the necklace is her needing love. when she says "People aren't enough" she is saying she wants more love but because people won't give her that love people aren't enough.

the song is about golden child syndrome! what is golden child syndrome you may ask?, well hears the answer: Golden Child Syndrome is the long-term effects of growing up as a favorite child of a narcissistic parent. in this family dynamic, the parent showers the child with love and affection but also demands total obedience. Furthermore, they expect the child to be perfect and pin all of the family's hopes and dreams on said child. so, the child is idealized and praised for every accomplishment, however minor. but also, the child is placed in a straitjacket of their parent's expectations.

I love this song because this song in my opinion is about a gifted child. I relate to that lol
I found this on a vocaliod fandom website and it says that this is the meaning
Aishite Aishite Aishite" is an original song by Kikuo. This song is about a girl who demands love and attention from other people as an effect of a cursed collar she wears. As she grows up, the collar's effect on her becomes stronger, making her end up feeling unsatisfied and continues to demand more love and attention from others, believing that the people whom she demands from are not enough.Another interpretation is that it is about a girl who wants love from her parents.
Just found your channel! I remember one theory I read years back linking this to 'golden child syndrome'. And I believe that a pretty good one to look into if their interested .
