I think I am addicted to Phosphorescent. Lordy, it will be a long one. How do you describe this sound: pathos, joy, nostalgia, yearning, familiarity and a good dash of the uncanny. I wait patiently for these types of acts to appear and I will diligently worship them until they are no more 💖💖💖
Toula described it perfectly!
What euphemism
yearning. yes. yearning.
Likewise. I'm just upset that it took me this long to find them.
Just bought tickets for Orlando! Can't wait!!!!
Omg where was I all this time? The most hauntingly beautiful music and the voice!!! Why are they are not on every station winning every award?
This sound feeds my soul.
I came late to Phosphorescent. It is such incredible music, so tender, so true
One of those shows that makes me realize I like a band more than I thought I did. Glad I got to see this.
Finally some Real music........ thank you Phosphorecent!!
The best band ever.
BEST LIVE PERFORMANCE......its better like the StudioVersion..."This Rocks" !
Beautiful, deep, soulful . Real artists .
Best band of all time. brilliant 👍
hard to imagine any other voice working anything near as fitting to their poems as Houck's voice
Briliant ! Briliant band ... i just stumbled on Song of Zula .. & then i find this, this is truly heavenly ! Thank you !
Check out their song "Tell Me Baby (Have You Had Enough)" if you haven't already
Around the Horn; mamita!!! 🤯🎶

Descubrí Song for Zula y no puedo deja de escuchar Phosphorescent....
I had the same experience and so often we hear one or two good (maybe great) songs and the other stuff is so-so. With *this* band ?! A gift that keeps on giving..👏🏽👍🏽🧠🫀🫶🏽
You already know I love you... And there ain't no much to say... You walk me through all my rough nights...and thank you for that...

I love this men and "this" women !! LoVe IT
Like this band. :-)
💖
Part from a drummer that you think listens to a click’in’ear, :-) Amazing! Saw you guys in Sthlm this year and I’m just insanely happy to have the good taste to understand how good you are! All the best!
Puissant !
Verry nice Song grat 👍🌹☮
Matthew killed it.
LAWD! Around the Horn makes me wanna jump outta my skin and bang my head against the wall! Holy Crow!
Go to KEXP’s performance. Another Freight Train rolling down the tracks on Around the Horn . Great audio.
🎶🎶🧜♀️ I know exactly what it means 🧜♀️🎶🎶🧜♀️♥️♥️♥️🧜♀️🎶🎶😻
Paul Simon and Willie Nelson are making out and Steely Dan is doing something shady over in the corner. Somehow it all comes out amazing.
This band makes me think of VU, Flaming Lips and Paul Simon.
Lol! Just now read the comment below, commenting the drums, haha! A great Idea if he did and it actually got alot better after that.
Well he is most probably very very good, maybe just abit late to the gig and got hasty and stiff. He got there by ”christmas” ;-)
how do i make it louder xoxo
This is good but doesn't come close to his previous work. Shows how good this guy is, almost a southern Leonard Cohen
Hey people, I love it // 21. #Vaccine N Music 😎
nothin but halos in the audience
they from athens GA?
chris johns I think Matthew is. Based in Brooklyn now I believe
@@bak4320 Based out of Nashville now
Bryan Krause thanks Bryan!
Matthew is from Huntsville Alabama he went to college in Athens Georgia
the bass player gets no camera time especially on Around the Horn, and that bass sounds friggin smooth n tight
that's how i feel about the slide guitarist... adds so much to this majestic tune.
did he tell the drummer to chill at 24:57? I’d be really mad if he did because he’s the best part of this band.
Sam Wulfekotter no idea could not see he said a word to him
Sam Wulfekotter I love the lid. Stetson Open Road

I wanna like it but "New Birth in New England" is a blatant rip off of this song, "But You Know I Love You", with the choruses lining up perfectly. Maybe it's like a 'My Sweet Lord' situation where it was just a subconscious plagarism or something
What an amatuerish load of crap.
