One of my favorite bands of all time. I'm super stoked to see them tomorrow in Dallas!!
Rock freakin solid... what a great sound, great texture all the way through. This KEXP is turning me on to SO MANY bands that are SO WORTH HEARING. These folks remind a little (a little) of Crazy Horse, The Barr Brothers, and Band of Horses and possibly. I love that they will let a good groove just go on and on. Very unique and very good.
Completely in awe...great band.
simply amazing, every Phosphorescent song is a poem.
I adore KEXP .
The first song is ridiculously fun.
Well not so far - my dear lad. Fun: Yes but not ridiculous. Cheerio!
Fantastic!
This sound is gorgeous, thank you.
As ever - the best bands are these unknown ones. Many of them from Seattle. Best song - Song for Zula.
phospho!
This is amazing!
The best. Thanks Phossy!
Love this band!
We stony Iowa we need to find out some time to make a trip out really late and we get to go there to pick something up and we type it together so you don’t know if you’re
I really like their music
Awesome sound!!!... Can't wait to see you at the Greek!!!!!
a pleasure for the ears
Not sure why anyone would thumb this down. What a fantastic set.
So it is my dear friend. Very inspired band from Seattle as many others over there.
I'd never heard them before, but I just fell in love.
unbelievably good.
Super !
Girly on the keys is grooving. Love phos so much 🥺💛
Good to have some girls in a band. Makes all more inspired.
Qué maravilla!!
love
7:28 Such a sweeet note progression. I’ve gotta get one of those effects rigs, whoever designed/made them. Yes , Clarence White’s B-Bender , someone said.
Super
ya its awewsome i love it
oh and hi
Honey don't I know ya? This is electric
Is that Kelly “the tele” Doyle on guitar???
TROY❤😎🎸🎵🎶🎵🎶 🎵TuNe💤😉 LeGeNDs❤🔥✔
please invite Allan Rayman
best band in the universe!
Agree 👍
that guitarist sounds like he is playing pedal steel.
He's playing a guitar fixed with a b-bender. sounds so good! It was designed by Clarence White, worth checking out for sure...
I was *exactly* thinking the same! I was at the point to leave a comment about it, to ask if anyone knew what effects he was using x)
Even though he was the drummer, I thought that Gene Parsons invented some kind of bender? Anyway, the Byrds were a great country rock band with the Clarence lineup.
@@PoliceBoy465 Right, from what I remember it was White's idea, and Parsons actually made it happen. The Byrds country albums are absolute gems.
@@trash.picker I know there’s quite a bit of difference in sound between a Tele and a Strat which isn’t pertinent to my question Zzz , because what I actually want to know is whether anyone thinks the pickup mentioned here would sound reasonable (or even function properly) on my Duo-Sonic ? Thanks for responding to the original post 4yrs ago 👏🏽
I hear lots of opinions about music streaming, mostly negative. I’m sure there’s lots of cons but I discovered phosphorescent in a Lukas Nelson playlist (who I discovered in some other playlist). It blows me away that there is so much of this good stuff out there I haven’t found yet. Love this music! 🙏
Amazing drive!Sound nice,as like good early traditions Traveling Wilburys and posted..!:)
--Respect to KEXP! Phosphorescent ,expandable!Country rock waves are excellent!(5 min =18 likes -no bad:)
