      The throttle body is closing at 600 hp now looking for a stand alone management system that still allows you to run the factory gauges, ac , abs, ect.
      Any thoughts or suggestions?

      @@texasfml5476 The factory gauge part is what stops a lot of guys from swapping these into newer vehicles. The ford control pack is the only viable option for using the factory cluster, aside from that guys use aftermarket EMS and just run a digital dash. Have you talked to some of the Ford tuning Ghurus like John Lund? He’s been very good at removing torque management limitations on other blue oval platforms. I know of multiple Coyote powered cars with a Lund tune running well into 4 digit power levels on the factory ECU, so it might be worth a shot to reach out and see what Lund racing is doing with the Godzilla platform because if anyone can crack the DBW limitations it’s him.

      @@McLovin420_LoE lol. That would be pretty awesome but I don’t know that it would ever be worth putting that much money into a chassis that will never be really good at any particular Motorsport. I will say the Crown Vic’s and Grand Marq’s are fun with a manual gearbox, though. I put a T-45 into a Grand Marquis for my cousin. It was a very mild setup: PI 2V, stock P71 short block, ported/milled PI heads, Comp 268’s, Comp springs, Edelbrock Intake with Accufab elbow, basic bolt on’s like BBK cold air, Kooks long tubes, off road X, Bassani catback. Tuned on pump 93 using SCT. The car made like 290whp and went into the 12’s with the 5 speed on a drag radial. Surprised a lot of people.

      @@mikewest712 unloaded trucks understeer while cornering and not giving it too much throttle (or in my trucks case, no matter what I do because it's slow and I have a bumber on the front). That's just a fact. Lots of weight on the front axle, not much on the back. When you add a heavier engine to the front, you make this problem even worse. When you make the rear tires bigger it makes you better at accelerating but not any better cornering because the rear is limited by how fast the front can turn. This isn't theory, I am very interested in sports car as well as how they work and what makes a car corner well, and weight balance as well as how the tires are staggered is a big part of it (as well as the tires themselves, the total weight, the properties of the suspension, etc)

    BB engines didn't have to be as radical to make the same power a small block would at max effort. With that said I have to nod to the new SBs as they are very capable.

      Ford doesnt make a BB anymore aside from a crate 460, and in reference to A BB vs SB you'd be correct . but if you mean a coyote vs godzilla then incorrect as a coyote can be pushed to around 1k on a stock engine with just a blower. a godzilla is similiar to a LS and needs head,valvetrain and cam . and then a blower added.

      Yes sir we have more Godzilla work to do, we have maxed out the procharger rpm at 60,000 rpm. At 721 HP, next we will do cam, heads, and the F1 series procharger.

    @texas fml so I’m curious did you do a Godzilla swap to be different? The coyote has been more than sufficient for running 9s in f-150 and doesn’t require a stand-alone. Just seems like a harder route to make power.

    Is it possible for the 10spd to bolt on to the 7.3 ?

    • @texasfml5476
      @texasfml5476  2 года назад +6

      That is a 10 speed f250 transmission in the truck

    • @charleshenson4183
      @charleshenson4183 2 года назад +3

      Why not.
      The 7.3 was designed for the 10 speed any ford 10 speed will do.
      I mean They're handling built & boosted 5.0's well over 1,000hp & twin turbo setups with massive amounts of torque.
      I would only use the f250 trans if it came with the engine for simplicities sake.

    I got the 7.3 in my 2021 f 650 work truck. Running around at 25,000 pounds most of the time. Still plenty of power for passing. Goes from 55 to 75 in about 8 seconds at 25,000 lbs... unfortunately, I average about 5.3 miles per gallon. Lol

    I wanna put one in a 69 F100 long bed 4 wheel drive. Factory tall boy. That would be sweet.
    But you know,for what would have to be a quarter of the price of a crate motor 7.3 you could build a 460 to damn near the same specs.
