I worked with fitter machinist who would take over perfectly competent fellow workers jobs, warn everyone to stand back, and then proceed to carry out the job no better (often worse) than they were already doing. He like to imply that everyone else wasn't up to his standard and that he had to step in to save the day. We all called him Leo Wanker. He even used to stand with his elbows pointed out, trying to make himself look bigger just like Leo. I often wondered if Hogan had encountered a similar pratt and based his Leo Wanker character on them.

The program makers didn't need to visit the USA or UK. The producers get the written format and sample videos from the franchise holders. Take it from a former Channel 7 floor manager.
