- Please excuse the quality as it is from an old VHS tape. This is a very funny sketch by Paul Hogan & his team at the time ( circa 1980s) about what would happen if channel 9 Australia covered war combat battles like they cover the cricket.

That's the most hilarious thing I've seen in 10 years, I've pissed myself laughing and sent it to my whole family. Fark, they don't make comedy like this anymore. Love it❣️🤣🤣🤣❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️🤣🤣🤣
Historical & Hysterical!!!!
So funny. Love the 'no ball' call.
That was so funny. That had to be the 70,s for sure. Pity about the sound though.
if you can imagine a 5ft 5 version of DK Lillee in the 70's ….that would be my Dad .Splitting image lol
Absolute gold.
Fantastic Stuff!! I've never seen this full-length version, thanks muchly for uploading it :-)
I don't suppose you have the Paul Hogan sketch that was a send up of the US police drama, Chips, have you? It was plumbers instead of police and the sketch was called Drips
That is the real Keith Stackpole in that skit! LOL
I liked when they crossed to the nuclear mushroom cloud.
Imagine if the real Dennis Lilee and other cricket players had a bit of a laugh of this sketch
Dennis Lillie is good friends with Paul Hogan [He was an investor in the Crocodile Dundee movie] so he has probably seen this clip before.
There was a sketch with Dennis Lillee and Rod March on Hoges. I think that is also the real Keith Stackpole in this sketch.
To Spongebag44. Don't think I've got that one ... but I'm pretty sure I've got Benny 5-0. Where Hawaii 5 -0 & Benny Hill get mashed up into one.
Imagine if this was played on tv today. Ohh my the comments about that's racist, that's offensive and the rest and just the negativity.
why put up a video of the sound is no good
The sound might not be to today's mega standards, but it even plays OK on my laptop.
@@SouthernJoe I've got the sound on full and can't hear anything oh well thanks anyway
