Honestly, if it wasn't for the ancient horse armor allowing your horse to teleport to you, I probably wouldn't have bothered using a horse. Then again, once you get the bike....well...the bike is a lot more fun to use.
Horses were usless ever since master cycle plus for them to add a horse peaking it’s head through a window we need houses with windows that open hopefully botw2 does more with this
What's fun is greeting Sidon at the base of Zora's Domain, then entering via scaling the waterfall to the north. He just has this confusion as he anticipates your arrival, and you just show up behind him. There's just this beautiful moment of confusion on his face.
Did you know, you can get Dragon parts with weapons other than arrows? Just throw a Weapon at the dragon. It will break and you will get a dragon part as with an arrow
For Sidon, Nintendo didn't specifically code an animation for him being knocked down. Rather: Sidon from the Zora palace is technically an NPC just the same as the walking merchants and the NPC's that fight bokoblins when they spawn. The KO animation you see for Sidon is the same as the animation you see when you don't help the Hylians who are fighting bokoblins. This means any NPC can be knocked out.
Honestly I agree. What's up with that anyway? It wouldn't harm Rin or GameSpot to credit the people who found these. Like now people think Rin discovered the "break metal chest" glitch, or super swimming, or going to space. But those were found by other people who worked really hard, and they don't even get mentioned 🤦♂️
@@taker601 I'm with you. The RUclipsr Gaming Reinvented made a video about the metal chest glitch BEFORE GameSpot, and people were accusing him of stealing it from Rin after GameSpot's vid came out. None of this would be happening if they simply gave credit....

Here are the sequence skips or other unique dialogues I know they accounted for, like the Zora's Domain or Divine Beast ones in this video. Does anyone know any others? There are almost certainly more. (Feel free to include these in future videos btw. Maybe a video exclusively on these could be a good idea.) - There's slightly different dialogue if you don't talk to the Old Man at various stages of the Great Plateau quest. - If you skip the runes in one of the first four shrines, which it is possible to do with or without glitches in certain ones, the monk at the end says to go back and get the rune. - Well known, but Impa says something when you free the Divine Beasts before meeting her and the quest is immediately given and completed. - Purah and Robbie have unique dialogue if you light the ancient furnace without being asked, and also every NPC in Hateno Village has unique dialogue for when you're carrying the blue flame. - Purah asks you to get permission from Impa if you try to get the camera rune without having spoken to Impa before. - King Dorephan will say to come back to him if your inventory has no room for the Zora armor. (Interestingly this wasn’t done for the Thunderhelm or Champion's Tunic, making them possibly unobtainable.) - Sidon and Muzu say something slightly different if you already have 20 shock arrows. - Riju and Buliara, and possibly all of the village leaders have different dialogue depending on if you have the Master Sword when meeting them. - Furosa, the lady from the icehouse quest, has different dialogue depending on if you’re wearing the Gerudo outfit to be disguised as a vai or not. I think it’s the same for most travelling Gerudo in the overworld. This also goes for Bozai, the sand boots/snow boots guy who will only talk to you if you’re dressed as a girl. He even mentions giving the boots to a girl if you completed the first quest. Also when you save Barta from the Yiga Clan. (Understandably this doesn’t apply to all NPCs, for example Paya will still scream “A MAN!?” when you first meet her in the Gerudo outfit.) - The Korok elder Chio will say something if you already complete the Korok Trials before speaking to him. - If you fight the Illusory Blights again there are several secret dialogues from each of the Champions. They provide more dialogue with the characters 100 years later… - Malanya the horse god has different things to say depending on how your horse died, including if it died in an explosion, died to a Guardian, or you killed it. (He assumes you did so by accident.) - Malanya also is surprised if you awaken him and don’t own any horses. - Another well known one, but horse-related NPCs (stable workers and minigames) won’t let you do something if you’re not on a horse, with specific dialogue for the Lord of the Mountain or a Stalhorse. Plus a bonus dialogue when you register Epona. - The Horned Statue won’t help you if you have no health/stamina upgrades. - Not really a sequence break, but a somewhat hidden dialogue is each Champion descendant has unique dialogue if you speak to them after entering the Divine Beast but before clearing it. Teba even says a "no-no word" (for a Nintendo game).
I replied what he said but based on these further responses I'm suspecting it might have been blocked by a filter! He says “And I was so close to stopping Divine Beast Vah Medoh… D*mmit!” (Silly I have to censor that…)
For number 16, does it work to chop down the tree with the spinning spear attack while on horseback? That should be slashing damage as well, I would imagine?

Being able to walk on the continents outside of Hyule is actually really cool. I'm very surprised the ground even has collision there, considering Vah Medoh doesn't!
Absolutely enjoyed hearing some of the development information about the game. That is very interesting. You should do more of that, and perhaps even try to compare BOTW to the Zelda 1 prototype they used to test out certain elements
Hey anyone else notice how for number 10, the curtains into the Gerudo Secret club actually has no way into the actual room, you can see this if you go inside of it, pretty weird huh? Great video btw love your content!
6:12 little things like blowing up those "mushroom trees" (have no idea what they're called) is something I would never even think to do. Like everything else was impressive, but THAT'S the thing most shocking to me from this vid. I also remember my first time learning about the additional scenes in zora's domain. I didn't expect them to go out of their way to do it, then sidon starts talking about "who are you you can't be here" and I thought it was just the coolest thing that he had a unique scene to reward me for going the complete wrong way😂.
I went to Zora domain before meeting impa but the dialogue was the same the two things that were different was Sidon wasn’t there when I first talked to the king, but he just spawned out of thin air when it was his turn to speak and also, when you need to prove to the grumpy old manta ray, when Sidon does his signature smile the camera doesn’t point at him.😅
9 and 10 are pretty obvious (doesn't everyone know these?) but 12 BLEW my mind. Also, I REALLY want more horse animations/interactions in the new game. And more horses in general. Another horse behaviour that I thought was interesting was the fact that they will bolt when enemies get too close (although they will stand perfectly still next to a lightning strike, which is NOT realistic!)
I think you might have covered this before but the armour stands around hyrule have regional differences. For example the gerudo ones have gold playing, the Zora ones have silver emblems and the hyrulean one are just choppy wood
6:11 This wasn't even the point of the trivia but in all of the time that I have played the game, I did not know you could cut down the small mushroom trees in the Ridgeland area.
Can you also make a video about doing bad things in BOTW, like throwing NPCs a bomb or smashing with hammer/sword etc. I recently completed the find missing cuccos side quest in Kakariko Village. 1 of cuccos is inside the plum berry field with fences, when trying to get the cucco out ot the old lady's Plumfield i throw it with a bomb but the cucco just didnt get out, it only transfers from one place to another inside the field. I accidentally blown every plum trees there and was sad reading the old lady's reaction when she got back and found out that all trees were gone.
A nice little detail that I really like: NPCs in towns typically go to sleep at night. In Rito Village, the adults sleep in the hammocks hanging above the rooms they're found in. The kids sleep in hammocks near the floor. If you're in the village at night, you can climb the rock wall in the center and see a few adult NPCs sleeping, namely Saki and the two adult sisters. It's a cute detail, I really like it.
@@SparksOpus well theres robots and laser chainsaws and tablets everywhere while I think they did a pretty good job of integrating the high tech stuff into the more medieval setting of zelda it was too much for some people. also link going to space is kinda dumb like what would he do, swords and space dont mix unless your a giant robot.

13 is actually a common programming practice. Most likely every npc with a humanoid skeleton is able to have this event and is the case so you don't crash the game because you put sidon somewhere he isn't mean to go
I’ve been playing botw since 2017 and I literally just found out yesterday that in the korok village, there’s a tree you can climb inside of and it takes you out of the forest
In the champions ballad dlc, when you're doing the revali's / Urbosa's song main quest, the Rito Mazli and the npcs you find at the big hole at the yiga clan hideout (the Rito at the Dinraal part of the quest and for the Urbosa one the yiga orb quest) don't get scared when you pull out any weapon (Including bombs). Guess they just don't fear the sacred blade.
I've been watching these videos for a while, but have these ever been mentioned before: - You can use shock arrows on ponds / rivers / lakes / the ocean to make it easier to catch all of the fish, and any frogs. - Using shock arrows when it's raining will electrify multiple enemies that are close to each other. - One of the fastest ways of earning rupees is by farming Guardian Stalker parts (which you kinda need to do anyway to buy items at the Akkala Tech Lab) and selling them to any merchant. - One of the more "expensive" meals you can make at the beginning of the game is a stamina boost from 4x crickets and 1 keese eyeball (80 rupees). - Blood moons don't always occur at midnight (I had one happen the other day at 4 PM game time!). - You can wait out most rainstorms if it starts raining while you're climbing something. Granted it might take a while for the rain to stop, but Link can just hang there forever without losing stamina. - All of the two handed weapons (no matter if they're wood or metal) can be used to break metal crates. - You can use an arrow to dislodge rushrooms and swift violets from cliffsides or other rock faces. - The camera is immensely rotational, and allows you to grab some amazingly cool camera angles in a variety of scenarios - you can swing the camera around during a battle to get a viewpoint from behind an enemy, for example. - You can flurry rush a Lizalfos' tongue and tail attacks. - Bokoblins stick out their tongue when they concentrate a bow attack. - If you're having trouble sneaking up on a mountain buck for The Crowned Beast shrine quest, or the Giant horse in Taobab Grassland, you can glide down from Vah Ruta's completion point and a nearby giant tree (respectively) to land directly on their back. - Once you tame your first horse, the game makes it much easier to sneak up on subsequent horses.
Taking a picture of a natural item in the lost woods would be a really really unique way to make an incredibly unique photo for any Hyrule Compendium showcase. It's quite a wonder why the respective images for the natural items in the lost woods weren't used for 100% Zelda's Compendium slideshow.
For number 12, what's the best location do it at? And what's the best thing to use. I know bombs aren't the fastest with this. I know those big barrels work the best. But I've been trying and everytime I try it. The get stops me. Am I doing something wrong?
Horse behaviors were 1000% important enough to include, I'm so sad we never got them 😭 swaying to music and even having favorite songs??? I WOULD HAVE CRIED 🥺
Not sure if you already mentioned it.. but you can do jump attack in any direction, this makes a different animation obviously that takes less time... I recently found that you can keep press jump button over the horses, and you will get a pose of link prepared for the jump!
Lemme know how that works out for ya. I've been trying over and over and over in so many different ways and can NOT figure #12 out. I'm assuming there was a patch b/c I REALLY want to go here :(

@@crowblossom06 It would. Because: if the chest burns up, this means that the air is hot. And because the air is hot, if the chest releases its bomb arrows, those will explode.
0:03 I absolutely love that shot!
This series is going to go on forever because I feel like there's just always going to be something new somehow
Because of all the glitches
@@andros9657 Yeah, all the glitches you'll never encounter through normal gameplay. Whats the problem?
@@andros9657 no... just no
Being able to walk on the continents outside of Hyule is actually really cool.
I still wish they would turn that prototype into its own game.
Hey anyone else notice how for number 10, the curtains into the Gerudo Secret club actually has no way into the actual room, you can see this if you go inside of it, pretty weird huh?
Great video btw love your content!
I just got a switch and breath of the wild yesterday! Loving it so far!
6:12 little things like blowing up those "mushroom trees" (have no idea what they're called) is something I would never even think to do. Like everything else was impressive, but THAT'S the thing most shocking to me from this vid.
I also remember my first time learning about the additional scenes in zora's domain. I didn't expect them to go out of their way to do it, then sidon starts talking about "who are you you can't be here" and I thought it was just the coolest thing that he had a unique scene to reward me for going the complete wrong way😂.
i absolutly LOVE this series, they are so interesting, please if you can, do more!
also, im early!
absolutely amazed by how much this game has to offer. I've played it thru twice.
I went to Zora domain before meeting impa but the dialogue was the same the two things that were different was Sidon wasn’t there when I first talked to the king, but he just spawned out of thin air when it was his turn to speak and also, when you need to prove to the grumpy old manta ray, when Sidon does his signature smile the camera doesn’t point at him.😅
This was the best one yet 👏 👏 👏
Revali: "Oh, you must pardon me. I forgot you can't get up there on your own!"
Link @ 1:06: "EAT IT REVALI!"
9 SEEMS obvious once you know, but hardly anyone actually notices the difference
I really hope we get that scrapped horse behavior in the next game. It sounds so cute!
I think you might have covered this before but the armour stands around hyrule have regional differences. For example the gerudo ones have gold playing, the Zora ones have silver emblems and the hyrulean one are just choppy wood
so glad people still play this.
0:35 "a pair of working legs! I call dibs"
Joe Swanson: "oh come on!
we've finally found a way to get that shock arrow huh? i feel so proud of this community
6:11 This wasn't even the point of the trivia but in all of the time that I have played the game, I did not know you could cut down the small mushroom trees in the Ridgeland area.
Wow, this series has blown me away! You need to upload in it faster.
A nice little detail that I really like:
NPCs in towns typically go to sleep at night.
That’s amazing! Thanks for sharing. This game is amazing. Nintendo is still innovating. This game is why Eldin Ring is so good.
This one was the best video from this series yet to me! Thanks :D
Honestly, a Legend of Zelda Galaxy esque game sounds pretty intriguing.
People probably wouldnt like that even botw was too high tech for some
@@jimbomclimbo7467 How lol
@@SparksOpus well theres robots and laser chainsaws and tablets everywhere while I think they did a pretty good job of integrating the high tech stuff into the more medieval setting of zelda it was too much for some people. also link going to space is kinda dumb like what would he do, swords and space dont mix unless your a giant robot.
@@SparksOpus star wars doesnt count light sabers are overrated
@@jimbomclimbo7467 Id say it doesnt really matter, since the Zelda Team could even do a Zelda in Space. They are God-Tier Developers, so i'll trust them that whatever they make, it'll be a good Game. People complain too much haha
That unreachable plateau was pretty cool!
Did you know in one of the shrines, you can see a dropped small key which can be photoed AND the peach lady in Kakariko Village gives special dialogue if its raining when you cut her trees down
every time, I'm dead shocked there's another of these videos. Happy surprises of course
I would have loved the Horse interaction~ that would have been so sweet, also which u could have Sold horses and the better the stats the more Rubys
That horse concept art thing was the cutest thing I've ever seen
As a person who recently picked up the game, its nice to know these things
Hey game spot man
I was playing botw and I discovered that if you go in a hot source in death mountain, you are fire proof for 20 seconds
13 is actually a common programming practice. Most likely every npc with a humanoid skeleton is able to have this event and is the case so you don't crash the game because you put sidon somewhere he isn't mean to go
lol i just binge watched all of your botw playlist for the second time😂😂 happy 1 year anniversery!!
That opening clip is pure gold 😆
How dare they not give us adorable horse behaviors. I want a horse that gives Link happy nuzzling and dances to music!
Imagine going into a town and a local saying "Goodnight." then starting conversation with you XD 3:00
link the first person in space in the legend of zelda
Ive never been this early happy 1 year anavirsy
I love your vids, keep it up 😊😊
I've been watching these videos for a while, but have these ever been mentioned before:
- You can use shock arrows on ponds / rivers / lakes / the ocean to make it easier to catch all of the fish, and any frogs.
Thx
Love these videos!
Yay a new episode on my birthday ❤
3:36 this is so cool why is nobody talking about it I need a tutorial
Am I the only one who noticed he said dawnbreaker instead of daybreaker?
Taking a picture of a natural item in the lost woods would be a really really unique way to make an incredibly unique photo for any Hyrule Compendium showcase.
It's quite a wonder why the respective images for the natural items in the lost woods weren't used for 100% Zelda's Compendium slideshow.
Botw is truly a phenomenal game. I can't wait for Botw2!
For number 12, what's the best location do it at? And what's the best thing to use. I know bombs aren't the fastest with this. I know those big barrels work the best. But I've been trying and everytime I try it. The get stops me. Am I doing something wrong?
I DIDNT KNOW YOU COULD KNOCK OVER THOSE MANGROVE THINGS NEAR THE LIGHTNING SHRINE!
It is the finds that never end, it goes on and on my friend! 🎶 🎵
Horse behaviors were 1000% important enough to include, I'm so sad we never got them 😭 swaying to music and even having favorite songs??? I WOULD HAVE CRIED 🥺
Aww man the horse popping through windows thing would have been hilarious
Thank you for this amazing series.
botw came out in 2017 and we are still finding new glitches and it is one of the reasons why its my favorite game of the entire franchise
These guys know so much about the game that even the developers didn’t know yet
The horse stuff is so cute, I wish they had put that much effort into animating the dogs
I love this guy and I try the glitches he shows
Replaying this on an OLED is Bautiful!
Yeah I have the OLED and BotW, I should give it a try
Awesome video! I'm gonna play my breath of the wild on my Wii U right now and try some of these things. Thanks 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
How in the heavens this is till going I have no idea, but I like it so keep em comin!
You can knock down those huge platforms with bombs?!?!?!?! I never even tried!
Not sure if you already mentioned it.. but you can do jump attack in any direction, this makes a different animation obviously that takes less time... I recently found that you can keep press jump button over the horses, and you will get a pose of link prepared for the jump!
4:02 exited to see this in tears of the kingdom
I was just watching all the old vids so this is good timing
6:50 also In both super swims, Link falls through the water before snapping back to the surface and making the Splash
I've been searching for someone curious about those 2:45 islands for a long time!! Thanks!!! Btw, nothing to see there lol
Bro how have I never gotten bored of this game
Thanks for showing this i might use in my video too!!!
The extra horse interactions had better be in the sequel…
You know, Sidon can't be more adorable than he already is...
*Until you see knocked out Sidon lol
I have been to those unreachable mountains, and there actually is a third island, oval shaped, completely flat, and made of sand.
Yeah I've always wondered why nintendo even made that island. You can't see it from Hyrule and there's no way to reach it without glitches or hacks.
There’s STILL more?!?!
Btw, number 12!!!! 🤯 I’m ready to go beyond and explore! 🏃♂️
Lemme know how that works out for ya. I've been trying over and over and over in so many different ways and can NOT figure #12 out. I'm assuming there was a patch b/c I REALLY want to go here :(
The map is actually looks like planet from above and it's round?... THAT'S VERY COOL!!
