What?? This isn't the first video about things we don't know? I thought we knew all before today. (wait, how does that logic work? It's like rainbows at night...)
Sound design of the train blew my mind. When you unintentionally make train sounds through other sounds, the game starts to take in this organic feel as if it knows what its doing.
I don't think it's unintentional, in a way that the sound is the sound of ONE cart moving through the rail that is repeated as the next cart is moving through the same part of the rail. The sound of real train also just that, the sound of a sequence of carts moving through the rail. What is surprising is how good is the sound processing is that it can process that many cart in SEQUENCE and not just the sound of one cart being on top of each other.
This is the rpg for people who like “hack-style” mechanics you can discover and Easter eggs rather than a good story, skill tree and combat progression. I think that’s why this game never clicked with me like a fallout or Skyrim did…idk. But I’m glad people really like it all these years later😊👌🏾
The sign thing is pretty amazing. The details speak to the absolute love and obsession devs had for this project. Odyssey is a great game but Botw deserved that GOTY it won.
I cannot believe this dude just keeps going. I don't even think half of this stuff is intentional there's just so many properties and mechanics that discoveries are inevitable.
Fun fact: you can get all the Zora weapons at Zora’s domain. Zora spear and silver bow are in the water under the domain, sword and shield on the west bridge, silverscale spear under the steps leading to the king (in the water) and silver longsword behind the shrine.
Other regions actually spread there’s out a bit more. Zora’s domain is intended to be the first area with a divine beast, so the weapons being closer together makes sense
@@pendragongameart TBF Goron and Rito don´t have that many gear pieces (barely a couple of "H and bows, respectively). Gerudos probably do, but the town doesn´t have that many collectables. Zora domain is more like a town perched over an explorable lake.
@@DeathnoteBB understandable, i always skip the road to zora’s domain if i can. the main quest leads you to kakariko tho, and that’s closer to zora than gerudo

Do you know about how Guardian Scouts recognize and react to remote bombs? Tweeted this @ IGN but they will move to a safe distance and detonate them with their lasers, even if they have to look away from Link to do so. This can be used to buy extra time during battle
Been watching this series since its inception. I love Max’s personality-he’s easygoing & nice to listen to. His humor always elevates the video for me. I know eventually you’ll run out of details to share about BOTW-hopefully by then, the sequel will be out! Maybe Max could cover easter eggs & fun tidbits from AOC if there’s a shortage of BOTW details. Would love to hear more about combat glitches. I only know a few myself, but for some reason, I love watching Max explain them in-depth. It’s just very entertaining. And maybe somewhere in my brain, there’s a synapse firing off at the sight of a Lynel getting gut-punched by 100 spears at once. Thanks for all you do!
5:58. It would be very cool and amazing if you make a video about this. I love learning new exiting Glitches in Botw and maybe it makes Lynels Fights even easier than they are right now.
while i like mipha's current design, i think the lion fish design is super cute and really would've fit her. she still could've had her healing abilities and caring nature but sometimes she accidentally pricked people with her spines and immediately apologized and healed them up, she could've been shy to get close to others in fear of hurting them, and maybe had a more aggressive protective side in battle
4:50 I didn’t even know rainbows were a thing in the game 😂 I usually just go around and admire the view of botw but never have I seen a rainbow during the day, and even less during the night 😂
Honestly this game should be a staple for other developers to take note of. The amount of detail and time put into this game is insane. Replay value never goes down as there is always something to do or explore. It's not even an online game and is still being played like mad lol.
My favorite part was when you mentioned shooting Guardians on the top of their heads. I found that out a few weeks ago, now I save from a high ledge, torment them, reload the save and make them fly some more. I found it out when the Eldin Guardian fell to where the other one was. Ice arrow, but it did well.
I think I messed with the guardians so much that the dormant stalkers Falk through the ground when I Stasis them because they don't want to be gymnasts.
I remember killing the hinox with a book shelve really easy like that. Didn't think much about it at the time but I love finds like this. I want to a bomb arrow into another bow arrow now, x3 Arrows 😂
My favorite trick is that if you want to climb a surface but have a lit torch that you don’t want to put away, you can just throw the torch up the surface, climb the surface, and retrieve the torch. Doing so will keep the torch alight. It’s really only useful in the Great Plateu ice mountain, though.
I did ask about the smuggling bomb arrows on Reddit once and someone said yes and it was like fireworks! I also had flurry rush that attack from a yiga member before too!
I recently played the game and I’m enjoying this video series. Lemme share what I found. Sorry if anyone knew this already. You can change a blue chuchu jelly to another color.
