If Stalnox eyes can be transferred, that brings up the question, is a stalnox the bones or the eye? If they swap eyes, are they swapping consciousnesses? Or maybe it’s 2 stalnox consciousnesses in one body?
They would have to ALL be things we don't know...such as that each blade of grass in the game as a name, a unique look and property.... and then it will list out 6000 of those names....
Here’s one I haven’t seen in the video series yet. If you want to chase a fallen star fragment but it’s getting too close to dawn, set up a campfire and choose to wait til night. Since the night time frame never changes, your star fragment will still be glowing there waiting for you.
This game is so damn cool. I love how everything is governed by various different engines, so you can pull things off that aren't really technically glitches, that the developers never intended or even knew about themselves. As much as I'm dying to play the sequel, BotW itself has so much to unpack and discover. I know there's at least a couple shrines I've still never been in, and I've played through the game probably a dozen times.
That’s pretty much the definition of what those immersive sims like Thief, System Shock, and Deus Ex we’re all about. It makes me really happy to see that design philosophy in an open world game like BOTW, and it’s why it is my favorite game of the 2010s. :)
I had no idea about the chu chu jelly one! Now that you’ve made this video I bet a lot of combat players will use this to their advantage. Great video again!
Here is something you could put in next video, in the dome at the end of trial of the sword, there are blue patterns. Okay, but they actually are shapes of many places in hyrule, including the divine beasts and dueling peaks. If you see this please consider putting this fact in the next video
I figured there would be more things I didnt know about BotW, but as it seems there was something I didn't know about Skyward Sword as a bonus. You can reflect Beamos Beams with a Shield bash. That would have been useful to know... like 5 hours ago when I finished SSHD.
I got two more; Link has two secret animations, one where he does a slow and sloppy spin attack. This happens when you are completely out of stamina and trigger a Spin Attack. Another is when he punches a chest open. If you crouch and open a chest from behind, he punches it and holds his fist in pain. Not sure if these are new, but they were new to me
Not only is it amazing you keep finding new secrets in this game, but all of these videos are so well-made, and not enough people appreciate that. They're so well-edited, and the footage you get for each secret ranges from badass to hilarious. Can't wait for the next 20 videos in this series!
@@adrigl3371 I’m seeing if it really is that easy to get internet points. I do expect if I keep it up some of my comments will get really popular, and I’ll become the next Justin Y.
Have you ever mentioned that Daruk's protection also works for fall damage?🤣😁🤦🏽♂️ It's really handy if you've gone up SUPER high and fall down! Stops you from taking ALL fall damage! I've been playing this game since release and only noticed it last week
it is actually so cool that you can catch the lanterns in camp, extinguish them and ignite them again. I also love how the enemies actually need to grab the handles to pick up the weapon instead of it just teleporting. So many little things that went into this game and I love it so much. I'm so excited for multiplayer 🦔❄
i dont know if its already been covered (because i dont feel like watching EVERY video on "facts you might not know" :-P) but i recently found out that your arrows can deflect the small rocks thrown by Bokoblins...i accidentally(/coincidentally) shot an arrow at just the right moment, and the thrown rock even flew back to Hit the boko, as if i shield-parried it...
I’m so happy you are still, giving this game love. This is my favorite game of all time, there is just so much detail and freedom. It’s just such a beautiful game.
The other day I started a new game, and Botrick (that his name? The guy walking around a stable who sells nothing but arrows) was crunched into himself, halfway in the ground. I thought he was a moblin's club before I saw his hand sticking up. I was still able to buy arrows, until he moved a bit and fell into the ground forever. So that was something.
It's crazy how everytime I keep thinking that this time we've seen it all and they are mostly going to be well-known tips. And how I'm proven wrong everytime too. Well done once again
I know about a hidden dialogue option in this game. If you unlock the Vah Medoh Divine beast but don’t start the dungeon, you can find Teba at the flight range and talk to him, where he will curse about getting injured. I’m sure repeating the same with the other divine beasts gives more unique dialogue.
Honestly all the things found in the game overtime makes Botw even more so a favorite of mine. You can play it any way you’d like, go anywhere you want. There’s not much guiding, other than perhaps the first few story missions leading you to kariko. But it’s up to you to follow through with it. I wonder how much they “fix” in botw 2. Because all the things found in botw is what makes it so good, I love the bugs and glitches while also feeling like a very complete game, and without issues unless you seek them.
Hey, Gamespot! Im not sure if you already know this, but while I was playing BotW, I found out that if explode a rune bomb, and quickly press “A” to talk to a npc(or just at the same time), you can delay heart damage. I first found this out while talking to a korok.
There is a place in the Gerudo desert, where you can shieldsurf indefinitely. It is near the shrine with 7 big statues around it. You can surf there in circles as long as you want. It would be nice to see it being mentioned in the next episode of BOTW
I posted a video link just now but it got deleted so I'll just explain it. I haven't seen you cover this yet, but if you crouch right next to a campfire, embers will catch on Link's clothing and he'll recoil in shock!
"These rocks represent the Gerudo, Hylians, Zora, Sheikah, Kokiri and Goron people!" Koroks: alright we built the sheath and all the stones! You sure you aren't missing anyone, right? Like an entire race of bird people? Goddesses: Nope! You're good! Got em all!
As soon as you mentioned speedrun category extension my brain said "butter dawg, dawg wit da butter on his head" so I'm really glad that's where we ended up
I actually figured out the keese bomb one myself while doing the champions ballad one hit obliterator cold area section. I was out of arrows to hit them with anf didnt wanna get close and attract the other enemies or have them mess me up while going for the big group, so I took way too long luring them away and killing them with bombs
can carry smuggling allow you to teleport to a new location while keeping the carried object on your person? if so has anyone tried to perform it with those laser boxes in that one shrine that you can carry around to activate a crystal. it would be interesting to see which enemies can be impacted by it on the overworld if this is possible.
What was your favorite new thing you learned this time? :D
I was just happy to see someone mention the backflip-jump slash thing. You can do the exact same thing in skyward sword for some reason
the lynel launch was pretty interesting
Jelly bouncing! Never heard of that, looks like it could lead to some fun gameplay stuff.
Box Launch!
The box launch. I've only made a shield moonjump once or twice in my 250+ hours of playtime.
If Stalnox eyes can be transferred, that brings up the question, is a stalnox the bones or the eye? If they swap eyes, are they swapping consciousnesses? Or maybe it’s 2 stalnox consciousnesses in one body?
Good question, I think the bones are the ones with consciousness, meanwhile the eye is what lets them see.
Is there a Stalnox heaven?
Ah the ship of Theseus
Eye is Stalnox and his skeleton is just posessed pile of bones. Because you can't kill the skeleton alone.
Was wondering the exact same thing while watching that part lol. We need a Zeltik theory video on this topic asap.
Out of all the ways to launch an enemy of course the toughest of them all just needs some regular Chuchu jelly and 1 at that lol
