You're very welcome. If I remember correctly, I downloaded this glass smart material from substance share. You could do a Google search for glass smart materials.
what is the best technique to prepare Blender file to Substance for tecnique .You seem to break object to smaller objects then each has a UV map and better texture density .Others prefer texture painting it seems,
A couple of ways, depending on your preference. You can assign different materials to objects and then each material/object gets its own uv so good resolution or you can use UDIMS/UV tiles for good resolution. I may do a video comparing them but I've used both methods in a number of recent videos. Whether you join all objects in one model and use either uv method is up to you. As well, using separate materials makes it easier to isolate objects but prevents substance painter materials from uniformally going onto all objects if you want that effect (ie. dirt or drips from a wall to a floor with separate materials). Hope that helps. If not, ask more.
thank you so much for the video! May I ask, where is from your material in painter "brick_uneve..."? did you download it from somewhere or make it yourself?
I love this series so much! But I'm having an issue when I export the blender file as an fbx. I just got Substance Painter specifically for this tutorial, so I'm new to it and probably doing something wrong. Edit: I forgot to explain what my issue is. Basically, I export it but it all merges as one layer unlike how you have it as multiple layers you can edit. Mine just merges all together into one.
Hey I'm so glad you are liking this and wish you lots of luck with SP. I will get back to you soon and help. I need to check the door video to remember if I made some Blender materials or used the UDIM method. Hang on ...
So I had 5 different materials assigned in Blender. Can you make sure that the various parts of your door model actually do have those materials assigned to them. You may have missed that and only have one material on your door. If that isn't the issue, can you email me your door blender file to kimmelelliott@gmail.com and we will get this sorted out.
The transform filter would have made my life so much easier ages ago! Thank you for your help :)

Hey I want to start learning how to use substance painter. Is the result (the door) game ready ? or whould you change something
Just check that there are no polys you want to delete and give it a try. Maybe consider using fewer polys in any bevels where possible.
This is extremely complex stuff wow
thank you so much for the video! May I ask, where is from your material in painter "brick_uneve..."? did you download it from somewhere or make it yourself?
My pleasure. What bricks are you talking about? Where did you see them? Let me know and I can try to answer your question.
Good afternoon. I have a little problem. Followed step by step your tutorial, however at the moment of rotating the texture I have the UV map rotated.
Thanks for watching. Can you just select the uv map island and rotate it 90 degrees in the uv editor?
The same issue
