This man is true comedy and even though I love Carlin, Hicks, Pryor, for my money, just in terms of being consistently funny, Bill Burr is my favorite comedian of all time.

When Bill's having fun and relaxed, the interview rocks. Funnier than 90% of stand up. When Bill's put on the spot and they've tried to cage him in, shit goes down. Never underestimate the power of a comic to make you look like a fool. This guy seems legit, very relaxing presence and clearly having fun with a good sense of humor. Hence this interview is probably one of Bill's best.

In my humble opinion, Bill Burr has a more entertaining standup energy and performance than Louis CK. However, overall I think Louie is more talented and well rounded. He can direct, act and write things for a multitude of platforms(movies, TV, stand up etc). Gotta love em both

He's arguably cleverer than Bill, in the sense that he had that whole auteur thing going on and he's like a sophisticated artiste and can be very eloquent but I think Bill has always actually demonstrated greater depth of character and integrity and all that other deep shit. He just did it without pretentiousness.

I thought when Sam Kinnison passed away that no one could ever make me laugh as hard. Then here comes this red faced prick and changed my whole comedy outlook. This guy's quick witted analogies are genius. He is a one of a kind talent. He also has two podcasts per week, for you all that dont know much about him, that I absolutely look forward to on Mondays and Thursdays. I get pissed off when the podcasts are late getting up let alone a day late. He has funnier content on his podcasts twice a week than most comedians have on a special that they prepare for 2 years. If you havent listened to this guy, give him a chance sometime. Definitely not PG rated, sometimes closer to X. But he is not a shit or fart jokester, nothing gross or disgusting. What makes his stuff so great is he rarely has guests. Its mostly just him and a microphone talking to himself and shitting on his adcertisers who pay him to promote their products. He loses advertisers like the Patriots lose superbowls.Once again a rare talent.
It's funny because I don't really like Bill Burr's stand up but I can listen to him talk all day. He's a great conversationalist and love his point of view on everything. Great Interview 100%
Omg, exactly the same and i thought I was the only one too! I first discovered him in his standups and it wasnt that funny. But i find him really funny in interviews or his own podcast. It's pretty odd. (Louie is the best standup imo just wanted to put it out there)

The main difference between Louis and Bill is that Bill can ad-lib. Louis himself has said he can't do that - he needs to prepare and write his material. Nothing wrong with that of course, but it sure as hell makes it easier for him to do TV shows and direct etc etc etc. At the end of the day, for me personally, Bill is the only comedian who has made me laugh so fucking hard that I had to stop the video. That makes him #1 in my eyes.
